Boutique hotel holiday rentals in Havana

Hostel Balear exceeded our expectations. Staying there provided the best of both worlds. We were able to experience a unique neighborhood, Vedado, and we also had only a short taxi ride to Old Havana. Eilyn was an excellent host. We really enjoyed the property including the amazing front porch to relax on and listen to the sounds of the neighborhood. The staff was extremely nice and hospitable. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanted to experience Havana. Dick

Sonny was an excellent host. She made us feel very comfortable as if we were at our own home. We will definitely stay at her place again in the future. She gave us a tour of the house, and we were amazed. At every inch of this house, you will feel like you are at home or in your summer cottage. This is a great place to stay in Havana, in the elegant Vedado avoiding the hustle and bustle of the over-touristy old town of Havana. It is pretty close to Calle 23, where you can find decent options for food and drinks and a walking distance from the iconic Hotel Nacional. Havana Vieja is 40 min away on foot or you can just get a taxi for 10 CUC. The breakfast was included in the price, which is not the case for most bnb's in Havana. The staff was always smiley and eager to help -giving local advice or arranging taxis. The building itself was a beauty, always clean, recently renovated with a nice terrace where you can enjoy an urban view. The only problem is that hot water was not always available, but nothing you cannot tolerate. Overall, staying there was a pleasant experience.

We were supposed to stay at this property for one night, and then move into a larger apartment (also owned by Ada) the next day when the rest of our group arrived. Unfortunately, our flight was cancelled and we didn't arrive until the next day--so we didn't stay at this property. So I can't attest to the actual room itself--but working with Ada and her team was fantastic. Professional and responsive every step of the way. Considering the spectacular experience we had in her other property, I'm sure this one would have been great as well.

One of the best hostas in Havana: beautifully designed rooms and commun area. The Bldg is centrally located in a safe neighborhood full of restaurants and famous clubs. the host Leidiana is helpful and always attentive to your needs. she provides excellent service and Susana keeps the place sparkling cleaned and prepare a delicious breakfast. I particularly enjoyed their company. Thank you

This airbnb was even better than it looked online. It was so quaint and beautiful from the decor to the warmth felt throughout the home. The host Beatriz was so welcoming and helpful. We did almost all of her recommendations for checking out Havana. We communicated with her quite often and she was very responsive which we so appreciate. A good way to get your bearings and check out the city is by taking the tour bus that picks you up at Hotel Presidente right across the street from the Airbnb. Also, in case you don't know before visiting keep in mind that it's best to have cuban pesos as soon as possible but USD or other forms of currency will also work. Government owned properties will have a lower exchange rate with foreign currency. Our trip to Cuba overall was unique, full of culture, and educational and our Airbnb was such an amazing place to come back home to after long days of exploration.

Great place to stay! Good location, lots of places to eat nearby, clean rooms & bathrooms. Nice rooftop patio for breakfast and drinks.

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are just as lovely- spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout my visit. Breakfast was really tasty every morning. The location is also perfect-close to everything and very convenient. I'd definitely stay here again!

Very nice house and the room comes with all the comforts you can have in la Havana. The position of the hostal is very convinient to walk around la Habana vieja. A special plus is the staff, always available for find the best solution for you and make you feel welcome! Fue increíble. Muy cómodo y bonito. Las personas que cuidaban el lugar son muy atentas. Laura especialmente muy agradable, con gran conocimiento de Cuba. Excelente lugar para pasar un rato para descansar y estar conectado a los lugares turísticos. La comida del restaurante del lugar es DELICIOSA Aquí hay alguien que te ayuda en cualquier horario del día. 100% recomendado

We absolutely loved staying at Jorges home. It is located right in the middle of Havana Vieja, and it felt as if we were staying in a piece of history! Everything is walking distance and the room was very quiet. It was very upkept and clean. We would definitely recommend staying here over a hotel if you want the true feeling of Havana, Cuba. 10/10 would visit again! Thank you Jorge and family!

Acomodação ampla, confortável, bem decorada, limpa e organizada. Anfitriões prestativos. Bem localizado, próximo dos principais pontos turísticos e restaurantes. O terraço tem uma vista linda.

Es war mit Abstand die beste Unterkunft die wir je hatten. Der Service, das Ambiente und das Essen, einfach unschlagbar gut. Wir haben hier echt einen Diamanten gefunden und werden uns gerne daran erinnern und jederzeit wiederkommen. Wir können nur unsere größte Empfehlung aussprechen.

Me encantó quedarme en la casa de Salvador. ¡Es como estar en una galería de arte! Todo está decorado con mucho cariño y estilo. El cuarto es súper acogedor, con cama cómoda, baño limpio con agua caliente, y siempre estaba todo muy bien arreglado. Cambian las toallas con frecuencia y son de buena calidad. Salvador y su esposa son muy amables y me hicieron sentir como en casa. Él siempre tenía consejos buenísimos que me ayudaron mucho en el viaje. Viajaba sola y me sentí muy segura todo el tiempo. Sin duda recomendaría este lugar

Hotel bastante confortável. Fomos bem recebidas e recebemos várias dicas locais, como transporte, câmbio, atrações. Sandy foi bastante solícito e nos fez sentirmos em casa. O quarto é muito confortável e limpo. A localização é muito boa, a duas quadras da Plaza Vieja. Ótimos restaurantes nos arredores. Com certeza voltaríamos

Gute Unterkunft in der Nähe von Malecon. Freundlicher Gasgeber- Leya hat für uns Abholservice vom Flughagen organisiert und ein weiteres Taxi für uns gebucht. Das Internet ( nur im Gemeinschaftsraum) hat nicht immer funktioniert, aber es war nicht weiter schlimm!

Das Hostel las Maletas war super! Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber und das Morgenessen, welches man für 7 Euro zusätzlich bekommt, war auch super. Die Hotelmitarbeiter sind alle super nett und hilfsbereit gewesen. Egal welches Problem wir hatten, sie waren sofort bereit uns bei allem zu helfen. Das Hostel ist auch sehr gut gelegen, in der Altstadt von Habana zirka 300 m von La Bodeguita Del Medio entfernt.

Świetne miejsce w dobrej cenie. Blisko centrum a jednocześnie można poczuć klimat prawdziwej, nieturystycznej Hawany. Pokoj zawiera wszystko czego potrzeba do przyjemnego spędzenia czasu w Hawanie. Godpodarze bardzo pomocni i kontaktowi.

El lugar está muy bonito, tal cual las fotos, el servicio de todo el personal excelente, la zona tranquila y segura, agua caliente en la regadera, habitaciones limpias y espaciosas, desayuno muy rico y variado, el personal siempre dispuesto a ayudar y solucionar, sin duda regresaríamos al mismo lugar, el administrador nos recibió y todos los días estuvo al pendiente de nosotros. El personal de cocina, limpieza y de apoyo al administrador son super amables y te ayudan a conseguir lo que necesites que este en sus posibilidades. Una muy grata experiencia y definitivamente recomiendo el lugar para quien quiere ir a visitar Cuba.
