This cottage is a bargain. Small and tidy. Comfy bed in a quiet neighborhood. Just a short way off the 3 near a bunch of restaurants and wineries. My friends were paying $200 bucks at the hotel up the road! I highly recommend it.

My recent stay at La Siesta was awesome. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with impeccably clean rooms, made it feel like a home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there in the small studio with the tiny kitchen. We felt like we were in a fairy tale magical villa. When we arrived, we found candles had even been lit for us... so lovely. They also provided bottled water which was a thoughtful touch on their part. The room was VERY warm and cozy, especially the one night we made a fire in the fireplace. It was delightful to walk less than 25 years through the courtyard to the patio and sip coffee while looking over the beach and beautiful sea. We even say a few dolphins! Twice we ventured all the way down the steps (off of the patio) to the beach and walked up and down it for exercise. We had breakfast at The La Fonda hotel (which is within walking distance) and it was delicious. Here too, we sat on a patio over looking the ocean. The studio is rustic, so not for people who need everything to be pristine, but what it lacks in fancy-ness, it more than makes up for in charm.

Gorgeous place with beautiful mountain, estuary and beach views. Super peaceful and private. Loved watching the sunset from the hot tub with a cocktail! Definitely make time to take a beach walk (8 minutes walk from the casita). On the weekends, there are horses available for beach rides, and also stands selling seafood and micheladas. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to all questions. Queen bed seemed brand new and was comfortable. Kitchen was spotless and they provided coffee and a large water for drinking (after that initial complementary bottle you can go buy drinking water nearby at many shops). We really enjoyed some local food at La Fonda (for beach view, fireside dinners), and Viva Mexico (for brunch/lunch). But the 30 minute drive into the Valle de Guadalupe is really worth it too, to check out wineries and more amazing food. I especially loved Fauna restaurant and Vena Cava winery in the Valle. Loved this sweet casita, and definitely hope to return soon!

I truly recommend this place. A studio with its own private entrance, cozy, comfortable, very clean. It has an amazing view over the ocean. 8 minutes drive to main Rosarito beach strip. I had a great stay. Hosts are super friendly and always a call away. I would rent this studio when I visit Rosarito again.

Erendira was very responsive to our needs-House was cute & clean- Close proximity to town, restaurants, and beaches- All amenities were nice & functioned well- Would stay there again & the host was very accomodating & knowledgible about the communities, restaurants, social events around town.

Since I have a problem with stairs. They had just built a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, where we chose to stay. The host lives in the home and they are so helpful and friendly.

At first we booked this villa thinking it was in downtown rosarito as the map indicated. This was not the case, as it was further south of rosarito, but still a lovely area. We arrived to the suggested address after driving for 6 hours and realized there was a bit of a mix-up (which is understandable with Mexican addresses). We then arrived and everything was sparkling clean, except for the kitchen sink, which the faucet was missing! We also noticed there was two of the bathrooms that 1) had an issue flushing, and 2) had a leaking seal at the base. Two days later someone came to repair the kitchen sink, as well as the toilet that wouldn’t flush. The toilet ended up breaking again, just a couple days after the repair. Not a big deal! We contacted the person responsible for the property locally in rosarito, and he assured us on multiple occasions that it would be repaired. Finally, near the end of our month stay we decided to contact Maxine directly, and she had ALL the issues resolved and repaired within a couple days. we greatly appreciate being able to stay here, as it was spacious and comfortable for my wife, dog and I. Great access to the beach, security that made us feel safe (and welcome), and an all around well stocked home for anyone that does cooking. I would still rate this a 5/5 despite all the issues because of the ease, we understand now that we were not contacting the right person to handle functional issues and how comfortable the Villa was. Walking distance to two oxxos, art galleries, as well as the numerous food vendors on the street.

Cómodo departamento para pasar unos días. Cerca de Playas de Tijuana y de Rosarito, y a una hora de la cuidad de Ensenada. Aunque necesitas carro para trasladarte es un lugar muy accesible.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Israel’s place. Communication was great, and everything went smoothly. The house is beautiful, comfortable, with plenty of space for our family of 5 and our dog. The yard was great for my pup to run around in or sunbathe. The kids loved the pool and jacuzzi ! The space was very private and beautifully maintained, Perfect for relaxing. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe beautiful place close to everything in Ensenada. Thanks for everything guys!

my first time in ensenada so my bf and i decided to spend the night we found Jorge place to be a perfect fit location was a bit tricky but nothing serious jorge was very fast at communicating with us thank you
