Our house is a semidetached house in a condominium of 17 buildings, called Lagoon Ocean Resort . This is no typical resort with a reception, guest entertainment and so on. It is a quiet retreat, with access only for residents and guests. You find a parking for your car and a swimming pool with shower, deckchairs and a typical palapa that offers shade. This is all in a well-maintained compound with blossoming plants. Nearby are the sandy beach and two retaurants /bars with affordable prices.

Gorgeous house in a great location. We loved sitting around the infinity pool in the evening watching the sunset. We were greeted by the housekeepers who showed us around and told us how to use the keys and air conditioners. The location is perfect. You are near all the best beaches on the island and near the National Park (which opens at 9am). There are plenty of pots and pans and a nice selection of spices. I would highly recommend this home. We had 10 people and used all 6 bedrooms (4 on the first floor and 2 on the top floor). The beds were comfortable and the towels and linens were soft.

La mejor decision fue alojarme en el apartamento de Ellemieke!!! Lugar precioso, es mucho más lindo que en las fotos, muy comodo, muy limpio y muy seguro. La playa Lagun está a una escalera y es una de las playas màs hermosa de Curazao! Lo mejor es que Ellemieke nos dejó salir la hora que queríamos, fue flexible con la salida, aprovechamos hasta el último minuto. Totalmente recomendado, lo volvería a pagar cuando vuelva a Curazao.

When we arrived, Bart was at the house to provide a brief orientation, answer any questions we had, and encourage us to send him any other questions that might arise during our stay - to which he always replied within several hours. The house is as it appears in the listing photos: well-designed, well-constructed, and well-maintained. The patio with stairs/ladder to the sea make this a special place, as does the proximity to Lagun, Jerimi, and Kleine Knip beaches to snorkel and relax. Thank you, Bart and Genève, for giving us the chance to explore Curacao from your beautiful home.

O apartamento é simplesmente maravilhoso! Todos os dias podíamos apreciar o pôr do sol diretamente do quintal — uma experiência inesquecível. O acesso direto ao mar, para mim, é o ponto alto da hospedagem: uma sensação de liberdade e conexão com a natureza que realmente transforma a viagem. A localização também é excelente, a poucos minutos de carro das principais praias de Curaçao. Tereza e Raul foram anfitriões incríveis e não mediram esforços para que nossa estadia fosse perfeita. Muito obrigado pelo carinho e acolhimento! Curaçao é uma ilha encantadora, e o apartamento de Raul é, sem dúvida, uma atração à parte. Quando eu voltar à ilha, certamente me hospedarei novamente aqui. Recomendo de olhos fechados!

I have to say that Ingrids place was really perfect. The sunsets were spectacular, as were the morning cups of coffee as the sun peeked over the mountains. Followed by a jump in the ocean & a quick swim. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for the meals we made there & it was just a short drive to so many great things to do & see. We enjoyed being away from the hustle of the city and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for the same. If we’re ever lucky enough to return to Curaçao, we will definitely be staying here again.

Playa Lagun is a special area and we can’t say enough about how perfect the location is for this place. The views from the porch are absolutely stunning. We had a few iguana and bird friends that greeted us each morning for a snack. The condo was well stocked and the grounds were beautiful. There are only a few restaurants and no grocery stores nearby so make sure you visit a grocery prior to making the drive. Lagun is so close to all of the great things about the island. Be sure to visit the nearby beaches, hiking, and caves.

Melina’s house is beautiful, the living room is larger than the pictures, the snorkeling is beautiful out back, and the kitchen is well stocked. The host and property manager were very communicative throughout our stay and promptly addressed a minor issue with the kitchen sink drainage. We would return!
