Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Phibsborough, Dublin

Susan was a lovely host and I enjoyed staying at her house. She is flexible and really trustworthy. Not complicated at all. Access is really easy as the Baustopp is around the corner. Within a 30 min bus drive you are in the city center.

This apartment was absolutely fantastic! While compact, it's incredibly cosy and designed so well. We were amazed that everything felt brand new – from the comfy furniture to the modern kitchen appliances. It truly had everything we needed for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped. Highly recommend!

Logement idéalement situé dans un quartier paisible. Accès au centre ville facile et rapide,via le bus et le tramway. Marie est très accueillante, souriante et très à l'écoute. Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description qui en est faite et est d'une propreté impeccable. Je recommande fortement.

Wir haben insgesamt fünf Nächte in dieser wirklich süßen Unterkunft in einem gemütlich eingerichteten Zimmer verbracht. Das Zimmer lag im Erdgeschoss gleich gegenüber dem Gäste WC. So dass wir unser kleines eigenes Reich hatten. Das moderne Hauptbadezimmer mit einer großen Glasdusche im Obergeschoss war leicht über die Treppen zu erreichen. Da wir morgens etwas länger geschlafen haben, hatten wir auch keine Probleme, uns mit den Mitbewohnern über die Benutzung der Dusche abzustimmen. Die zwei weiteren vermieteten Zimmer waren von anderen Reisenden besetzt. Das Haus ist etwas hellhörig. Was aber kein Problem darstellt, wenn die anderen rücksichtsvoll sind. Mit den fußläufig erreichbaren Bushaltestellen (etwa 5-10 Minuten), erreicht man problemlos das Stadtzentrum. Auch macht es Spaß, durch die Straßen zu schlendern und sich einfach nur die typisch irischen Reihenhäuschen anzusehen. vielen Dank an Brian, der uns jeden Tag mit seiner fröhlichen Art ein Lächeln aufs Gesicht gezaubert hat.

This place is an absolute gem! The host was amazing, even when I totally screwed up our check in dates, she was super accommodating and nice about the mix up which really helped put us at ease. She has everything you need and more, from the full cabinets, to things there for us in the refrigerator. The place was super clean when we arrived. The outdoor space was a plus! The location is very walkable, everything you needed to go to within a 20 minute or so walking distance, we walked everywhere! It was nice to not be directly in the downtown area, but close enough to get there quickly. When we return to Dublin- this will be our go to place!

I had a great stay with Elaine, it’s such a lovely wee place and really convenient for both Dublin airport and the city centre (eg by TFI / Dublin Bus). I walked into Drumcomdra in the evening to eat - lots of choice there, about ten minutes away. Elaine also left some nice items for breakfast, which was really thoughtful. Would happily stay here again.

We had a lovely stay with Gareth and everything from pre-trip communication through check-in and check out went smoothly. Gareth gave us some valuable tips and made our stay in Dublin even better than expected. Warmly recommend!

I stayed at Cherry and Billy’s home for two nights and had a lovely experience. I originally planned to check in just after lunch, but due to an unexpected change, I had to arrive much later. Billy was incredibly understanding and even waited for me at the bus stop just two minutes from their home, such a kind and thoughtful gesture! The house itself is in perfect condition. The bedroom is cozy, comfortable, and instantly makes you feel at home. The bathroom was spotless, and the shower was absolutely fantastic. Everything was just right. Cherry and Billy are a wonderful couple, fun to chat with, warm, and very welcoming. I would happily recommend their place to anyone, and I’d definitely stay with them again if I’m back in the area. Thank you both for such a great stay!

I had a delightful stay at Kevin's place. It is a charming little addition to a house, situated in the backyard with its own entrance, offering ample privacy. It has everything one could need, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The host was very accommodating and responsive. It is walkable to the city center and all the main attractions.

Overall the stay at Nevan's apartment was pretty nice. Quite, clean and large enough apartment for a short stay in Dublin. Everything was as anounced in the description.

Exactly what it says on the tin! An easily accessible property via public transport or walking which is great to use as a base whilst exploring Dublin. The property was as it was listed and Tracey was a great host. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay again!

We loved Henry’s place so much. It was so close to everything , the Dublin Castle is literally on the same road and all the restaurants and shops are a short walk away. It’s tussled in the back alley which means it was very quiet and peaceful and it was easy to access and the elevators were so convenient . We would definitely stay there again. Clean and responsive host as well.

Me encantó alojarme en el apartamento de Herbert el cual está ubicado en un edificio antiguo de mucha historia en un barrio tranquilo pero cercano a una Avenida muy importante para la vida turística y sus amenidades. Allí Me sentia trasladada a un lugar mágico con un ambiente super agradable y con jardín trasero con sus bellas plantas, la fuente y coloridas flores que bridaban mucha paz. El salón majestuoso, el cuarto con una cama muy comoda y un salón de baño bien moderno. Todo muy limpio. Excelente

Rosa was a most welcoming host. Her communication was excellent throughout from initial enquiry through booking to getting there. She even delayed her departure for her work so that she could welcome us personally after our train was delayed. We had everything we needed for our short stay and the guest manual was very informative too. If I could give it six stars I would. Thanks Rosa.

Muy buena estancia y ubicación, con Ruani tuvimos una conversación bastante activa en todo momento, un apartamento bueno, bastante acogedor aunque con algunos detalles a mejorar, como el tener en el baño un enchufe para poder calentar el baño, el cual se encontraba bastante frío en todo momento, o mejorar el colchón. Por lo demás todo perfecto, el resto de la casa bastante bien, la calefacción funcionaba perfectamente al igual que la bomba de calor portátil. Además, el anfitrión nos facilitó desayuno, leche, cereales, entre otros. Todo tipo de utensilios en la cocina y toallas en perfecto estado. Muy Recomendable.

Ciaran was an excellent host. He went above and beyond to make sure our 4 night stay was comfortable. There was unseasonably warm weather for late April which made it difficult to sleep, so he installed the air conditioner (perhaps earlier than normal). He loaned us a mobile phone to ensure easy communication, and he also offered two loaded Leap cards to get us rolling (literally!) on public transit. Transit was handy, but we also found the location to be close enough for a relatively easy walk into the city center (15-20 minutes). Don’t miss the Russell Street bakery nearby—it’s a gem. Ciaran also had some nice suggestions for meals. We appreciated Ciaran and Terri’s thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and wine. Reasonably priced in a good location with kind, friendly and attentive hosts.

This apartment is centrally located to whatever you want to do in Dublin. You can walk anywhere or hop on a bus; very convenient! Andrew answered all of my questions super quick. We enjoyed our stay!

In the heart of the city, where almost everything is walkable. Abidin’s instructions were so helpful and we had no issues getting inside! There were cute little bags with toiletries & a cute Ireland keychain, Guinness beers for us to try- Abidin made us feel very welcome and the apartment was in excellent shape and very clean. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft von Maria und André sehr empfehlen. Die Wohnung ist gut gesichert und wir konnten die Tür anfangs nicht öffnen. André war sofort erreichbar, zuvorkommend, fürsorglich und freundlich. Alles hat sich sehr schnell geklärt, so dass wir keine Einschränkungen hatten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit allem.

Had the Best stay. Brian was extremely helpful and sent us info on places to go . This unit is central and so convenient, we could walk everywhere . We had a wonderful stay here . And Brian is a Fantastic host

Fantastic host, lovely stay. Clean, quaint, nice location with a wonderful cafe on the same block. Easy walk to city center, easy transportation, safe, would HIGHLY recommend staying here again and would so so myself if back in Dublin.

Location od the apt is secend to none. Great communication with host, cosy apt and well equiped .

I cannot say enough about the hospitality of Dara. I have never experienced a host that went that far out of their way to make us comfortable, work with our requests, help us navigate the rental car and airport drop offs, provide information on the area to explore, extracurricular activities to see, the list could go on. If there is a better host, I have not had them (and we have had very good ones) or heard of them. As for the apartment, we walked everywhere (even though Dara provided us with bus passes we could use and replenish). It is a great location to explore the shopping, Trinity area, churches, museums, etc. The space worked well for our family of 4 (which included 2 boys of 18 and 19 years old). We would stay at any place that Dara was the host.

Very clean and well organised! Aida has the place set up with anything you would usually use. It would be ideal for someone needing a week or longer stay so there’s time to really settle in and get supplies! Aida always responded generously with any little query. It’s very close to the main tourist centre and easy to get around.
