The room is not big but all you need are provided. The bed is 90 centimeters wide with a comfortable pillow. The table is just deep enough to put my laptop. Useful hooks and self are provided so you can hang your towels, bags, hat, etc. There are two clean shared bathrooms. Free drinking water, tissues, fork, plates and cups are provided in the dining room. The host invited me to have a tea in the ground floor. He drove me around Bukit Mertajam and introduced me the new village established in the early 20th centuries. I joined the morning running on Sundays with the host and his friends. The only disadvantage is that my room window is open to the road and it’s little noisy.

Great place to stay, responsive and such kind host 😭. He understood with my situation and allow to check out late a bit without pay extra. And one more cool things i've never seen any airbnb have is they provided with earplug foam. I had deep sleep last night after driving 1000km. Thank you so much host ! Sure will repeat again.

Super convenient location I’ve ever stayed in Penang. Walking distance to everything I needed to go and the bus stop was very close by. The host, Khalid was friendly and nice.

Near to Penang Hills

Ideal beachfront location. Walk out the lower lobby of the building and you're on the beach. Both the bedroom and the living room have their own balconies facing the ocean, so I spent a lot of time sitting on those balconies listening to the waves crash against the shore. A very spacious apartment with a very comfortable bed and a brand new mini-fridge that kept things very cold. Veronica was always available via text anytime I had any questions. Restaurants were directly across the street and more restaurants and shops were a short walking distance from the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment, it's location and Veronica, the landlord. If I ever return to Penang, I'll stay here once again. Thank you for your hospitality, Veronica! I had an excellent vacation in Penang thanks to you!!🙂

I absolutely loved my stay at Catherine’s. I needed an alternative accommodation whilst finishing up my home renovation. This space was nurturing and healing. Tucked within greens, rich with birdsong and at times ocean waves, it was absolutely relaxing and quiet. Having your own vehicle would be nice. Host was very responsive and friendly. I had an issue arise during my stay and it was easily resolved.Highly recommended, will return should the need arise..

Das Lost Paradise ist wirklich eine kleine Oase in einem wunderschönen Garten mit zwei tollen Pools. Wir hatten die Marwa Suite und die war super, schön groß und geräumig, mit zwei Balkonen. Wir waren dort zwei Nächte und es hat uns gut gefallen. In der Anlage gibt es das Buri Buri Café dort bekommt man Frühstück und Snacks, alles sehr lecker. Man sollte aber wissen dass das ein Foto- Hotspot ist und deshalb dort sehr viele Menschen hinkommen. Die hoteleigenen Bereiche sind aber nur für die Hotelgäste zugänglich. Andere Restaurants in der Nähe sind nur mit dem Grab erreichbar.

I had a wonderful stay at Sabai Sabai Guesthouse Penang. It was worth for pay, super responsive and convenient with the self-check-in and out. I had a nice meeting with the host, great conversations and super friendly, likewise the staffs as well. It is near to the airport, and also walkable to nearby restaurants and hawker stalls - which the host also give a list of recommended places as well. The reason why I'm visiting Penang is to go to USM, hence the location is pretty convenient and Grab-able to USM. I'll definitely stay here again whenever I visit Penang again. Thanks!

I had a really good stay here in Penang. The host was very nice and helpful, which made everything easier for me. The room was clean and comfortable, and there was even a washing machine, which was super handy. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Penang.

Worth the money, very cozy and strategically placed property.

Affordable price, spacious room (for Room 201), smooth check-in process, drinking water provided, washing machine, dryer, separate kitchen, and all the essentials are available in the room — kettle, hair dryer, plates, glasses, utensils, etc. A suggestion for the host: please don’t allow guests to wash dishes directly in the bathroom sink, as it could clog easily. It might become a bigger issue for you to fix in a year or two unless you install a grease trap or filter under the sink to prevent oil and food residue from accumulating. For Room 302, the bathroom glass is still somewhat see-through, even with the sandblasting. Perhaps you could consider adding an extra layer of frosted film or stickers to make it more opaque.

We found this gem in Penang and fell in love! The location is perfect - everything we wanted to explore was just a short walk away. The room was a haven - quiet, comfy, and cozy. We were impressed by how spotless the shared toilet was, always ready for use. The whole place has this amazing artsy and quirky vibe that's just so charming. It's like a treasure trove of everything a tourist could need. We felt right at home, and it made our short getaway truly unforgettable!

We will surely return to this place. Great place too stay. Helpful cleaners. Great Host.
