We had the best, laid-back, stress-free weekend getaway at Mati. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good thing we chose to stay at S&f Surfside Escape. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during the trip. The place is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. It is just a few minutes from the white sand beaches of Dahican, yet tucked away enough to offer peace and privacy after a day of sun and fun. The host was friendly, responsive, and even suggested places we could visit around the area. It was the perfect balance of convenience and relaxation that we needed. I highly recommend this place whether you're planning a family trip, romantic escape or a weekend with friends, this place is a fantastic choice. ⭐💯

The place is seriously perfection for the vacation I planned for - clean, equipped with everything you need, private and with the beach just steps away. The beach was literally right outside the gate, and I spent most of my days lounging on the sand, dipping in the sea, and waiting for the sunrise while sipping my coffee and hearing the most gentle splash of the waves. This place was my ultimate relaxation haven! It was the perfect escape from the busy life - no noise, no distractions, just peace and serenity 🙏. I unplugged from the world and reconnected with nature, and myself. Can't recommend this place enough! If you want a private experience, away from crowds and just relax by the beach yet you don't want to be completely isolated- this is the place for you. The phone and internet signal are great, so you can also work here remotely. This is also walking distance to the town so if you want to get supplies or eat in a restaurant or coffee shop, it's just walking distance.

Jennifer’s place was just bliss. Very private, quiet and relaxed even though its close to the town of Babak. Ate Emma looked after us really well and was always available to help or answer any questions. Highly recommended! Would come back again and bring the family next time!

Perfect getaway for family or group of friends. Sam’s place has everything one needs to keep visitors relaxed and engaged. My family stayed here and they were very happy. The kids spent their time playing ping pong, billiards, volleyball and basketball while the older generation spent hours singing their hearts out using the karaoke. Beach is also nearby. I highly recommended this place. I will book this again if we visit Mati.

I had a great time at the place, even though I was alone. It was so serene and calm. The staff were very accommodating and friendly -- kudos to Sir Arnold! I just want to raise a small concern about the shower area. The yellow stains could’ve been removed to make it more visually appealing and IG-worthy, especially since it’s a unique setup. But overall, it’s a 10/10 experience. Definitely worth recommending!

I gave 4 stars because the place could use a bit of improvement. The bedroom, living room, bathroom, and kitchen were all spotless, which we really appreciated. However, there were no rugs provided, and some of the kitchen utensils—especially the spoon and fork—had a slight rusty smell, so we opted to use wooden ones instead. The area itself is peaceful and private, making it a great place to relax and unwind. The restaurant nearby opens at 7:30 AM, the pool at 9:00 AM, and the beachfront is accessible anytime. Check-in took a bit of time, so we explored other nearby spots while waiting. Despite that, our overall experience was great, and we’re definitely looking forward to coming back soon.

Amazing place & loved the place. We had a wonderful time. The chef, Rose is a good cook as well Gigi are both responsive to our needs. Jimmy and Loloy were both helping carrying our stuff. We love the aromatic coconut water. The internet was gone, we had it for a day only, that’s the inconvience we encountered. The water is pristine, clear crystal water. We see the giant clams below. You can see a lot of fishes, private beach. It’s highly recommended. If given a chance, to stay longer .

Amacan House is the perfect staycation spot in Samal. The place is clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything you need. It has a cozy, homey vibe that makes you want to stay even longer. The hosts, Dianne and Joemer, are fantastic—so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They respond promptly to any queries and even went above and beyond as tour guides, showing us the hidden gems of Samal. There's so much to explore—it was truly an amazing experience! Thank you, Dianne and Joemer, for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely choose Amacan House again on our next visit. Not only is the place wonderful, but you both are truly exceptional hosts!
