Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Pano Platres

Amazing place, feels like home, like country house. My 3 yo son was totally amused with vintage stuff placed everywhere. There are a lot of experiences which you can get: pool, fire pit, jacuzzi, fire place, local eggs etc. We are definitely going to visit this place again! Thanks a lot for that hidden gem of forest peace!

Very nice big house in a traditional village. The accomodation is well equipped, you find all what you need for a comfortable stay. Many tools in the kitchen and vintage furnitures in the other rooms, all of them very clean. One bedroom with bathroom is just outdoor the main entrance, facing the nice courtyard. About the location, it is ca. 10 km from the highway, the road leading up the hill with some curves. Very quite area, parking just behind the house. Christos was very kind, his guide is useful to explore Cyprus. We visited the place in february, some restaurants/cafes were closed, but in the spring/summer months you will have more options. Recommended if you are looking for a relaxing place in the countryside of the island.

best place ever!!!! there is everything you need! but notice that it is far away from everything...the minimum drive is 30 minutes to Limassol.

We holiday in Protaras but always like to spend a couple of nights in a traditional Cypriot village and home. Kathakis is a beautiful, quiet and peaceful little village which has everything you need to relax. We chose Calliope House because of its authentic Cypriot feel and we weren't disappointed. It's been in the owners family for generations and is a beautiful Cypriot home which had everything you need. The stand outs for us was that it had 3 bedrooms (one en-suite) the other 2 bedrooms a toys the beautiful courtyard with their own bathroom and a guest bathroom. The courtyard was beautiful. Private and peaceful with comfortable sofa seating as well as a table and chairs for food and drinks. The house was immaculate! Bedding in particular was pristine l, crisp white sheets and quilt. Beds were so comfortable, plenty of towels, and the showers were great. Waling distance to main square with taverns, a museum and about a mile away a wonderful winery which offered wine tasting sessions.

Vouni is a quiet village that is still full of people living there. It host a lot of events and has several restaurants and cafes. The apartments is cozy, convent, well equipped. The bed was wonderful

The photos were very accurate, although they didn't do justice to the mountain view. The house is a wonderful, historic Cypriot village house with all the modern amenities we needed. The bedrooms were spacious and so were the bathrooms. The shower was clean and modern with great water pressure and hot water. We loved sitting out on the balcony enjoying the view. We also enjoyed walking around the village, driving to a local waterfall and exploring nearby Kakopetria. The host was very responsive and sent an electrician immediately to fix a power issue we had. Honestly, our stay was perfect with one exception, all the beds were very firm and the springs could be felt at points, so we didn't sleep very well. I still think we would have chosen to stay here even knowing that.

Unser Aufenthalt in Vounie war fantastisch. Das Haus hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Berge und von dort lässt sich (mit dem Auto) alles gut erreichen. Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Auto und brauchten dieses auch, da die Gassen in Vouni ultra schmal aber wunderhübsch sind. Carolines Haus ist perfekt eingerichtet. Die Küche war optimal zum Kochen und die Bäder sind hochwertig und super sauber. Das Haus selbst ist alt und von außen original. Eine Mischung aus Stein und Holz. Obwohl sehr hellhörig eine der schönsten Immobilien auf unseren bisherigen Reisen. Sollten wir wieder nach Zypern kommen würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder bei Caroline bleiben. Vielen Dank auch an Andy, der uns vor Ort begrüßt hat und auch schöne Empfehlungen für die Umgebung hatte. Wer nach einem romantisch, verspielten Rückzugsort sucht, einfach buchen und genießen. We had an amazing stay at Matteo Villa! The property is not only beautiful but also incredibly well-equipped — perfect for a comfortable and memorable getaway. We stayed for a special occasion (my 30th birthday 🎉) and it couldn’t have been a better setting! The jacuzzi, infinity pool, and sauna were absolute highlights — such a luxury to have all of that right on site. The garden bar made our evenings feel like our own private resort. Inside, everything was thoughtfully prepared: a water fridge, full kitchen equipment, plenty of towels and even beach towels, which was such a nice touch. The location is stunning — perched above the clouds with the most beautiful sunsets and peaceful views. It felt like a proper escape while still being close enough to everything we needed. The self check-in process was super smooth and easy, and communication with the hosts was excellent throughout. Highly recommended — we’d absolutely love to come back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Charoulla's apartments. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly, and Charoulla personally showed us around the apartment, making sure we felt at home right away. The apartment was impeccably clean, and we really appreciated the attention to detail throughout. One very pleasant gesture was when Charoulla set up the fireplace for us, adding to the cozy and inviting atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and memorable stay!

Wir waren hier in einem ruhigen typisch zypriotischen Dorf und hatten das Glück über dem Dorfcafe/ Miniladen zu wohnen wo man alles wichtige, besonders einen sehr guten traditionellen Kaffee, bekommt. Wir haben uns immer gefreut wenn Maro Zeit hatte für ein kleines Gespräch. Sie ist eine herzliche und weltoffene Frau die hervorragend Englisch spricht und uns so auch von ihrer Heimat erzählen konnte. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr geräumig, es war sehr sauber und die Küche war mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Anfang April waren die Nächte noch kühl, wir konnten es uns aber vor dem offenen Kamin gemütlich machen. Auch extra Decken sind vorhanden. Wir haben von dort aus Ausflüge zum Strand und in die Berge gemacht (in ca einer halben Stunde erreichbar) Wir wären gerne längervgeblieben!

Beautiful location, quiet and very nice apartment. It had everything we needed for this two days! Only thing that was missing was a veranda.

Our stay at Marianna’s penthouse apartment was excellent. She was an amazing host, quick to respond and very helpful. Breakfast was made in the mornings at 9am which was outstanding. She catered for my partner and I who are vegetarians. The apartment was very clean and tidy and had everything that we possibly needed. I would highly recommend this apartment. Taxis do need to be booked a little ahead of time if you’re heading out but it’s like this throughout Paphos. p.s private roof pool is as good as the photos

Beautiful interior, apartment was well equipped. At night lovely view through windows with lights from the city. Very happy with this apartment. Hosts were incredibly helpful, leaving guid of what to do in the city and how to get in the apartment, and where to park the car. I also left my headphones at the apartment and they were kind enough to offer shipping them to me.

Amazing and peaceful location. Perfect for a short drive to some of the best beaches, and a great village close by with restaurants that is within walking distance. Home itself was cozy with a great design and very well kept. We really enjoyed the pool! Host is super helpful and a great guy!

Dora has a great place, we had a wonderful stay! It was clean and spacious and right on the sea which was lovely to wake up to in the morning. Dora was very responsive and helped us with the house alarm when needed. One point to note is that the description states that the garden is fully fenced. The front space is but the back garden is not fenced but we kept our dog on a long line so it didn’t matter. Overall a great place to stay, would recommend.

This is a great villa, it was made with love and care, it's fully equipped and very comfortable. I guess an espresso machine would even make it even better. nevertheless, it's super highly recommended and we had a wonderful stay note: there is a way to connect the euro plug into the Cyprus sockets, you need a pen or something to push the unused hole inside and then it can fit.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war ein wunderbares Haus mit toller Küche, Schwimmbad, 3 Schlafzimmern und viel Platz. Die Lage im Ortszentrum hat uns gut gefallen und der Kontakt zu Ephraim war perfekt. Er war bei Fragen immer sofort verfügbar, worüber wir uns nur bedanken können. Und das wichtigste, wir empfehlen es weiter und würden wiederkommen!

This place is magnificent in every sense of this word. We loved it, to stay there, to come back after side exploring.The light breeze ,the view, the house and the garden with all facilities, the terrace,all very stylefull designed , with love to details.And the privacy!!!We enjoyed every moment of staying there. Special highlight for us was Marshall Stanmore(🤩), wich made us to enjoy the sunsets with outstanding sound!! Our hosts are lovely people, easy to communicate with. It was a great stay. Beautiful villa with some great rooms and everything you would need. Pool was great and outside area was great. My family and I had an amazing week.
