Cheile Bicazului is located approximately 2km from the cottage. The heating is done with the help of the wood fireplace. La mai puțin de un kilometru se afla parcul central și centrul vechi, ștrandul municipal cu parcul de aventuri pentru copii, restaurante diverse și hipodrom. În apropiere se afla și punctul de plecare al telegondolei, iar pentru iubitorii de drumeții montane vârful Cozla oferă plimbări prin natura în mijlocul orașului.
