Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

Located in the Périgord-Limousin Park, the village of Les Bordes is made up of old houses that have been renovated or are being renovated. You will be in a region of forests and water, ideal for observing nature and hiking. Many sites, castles, caves and beautiful villages will delight you with their beauty, hospitality and the quality of their gastronomy.

The Glycines Cottage

My little house is located 20 minutes from Limoges and 5 minutes from Nexon. (20 minutes from Highway A20) A lot of charm for this large living room with fireplace, (wood for a fee) dining room with well-equipped kitchenette (fridge, microwave, electric oven and two gas burners) open to the garden. Bathroom with toilet and window. Mezzanine bedroom with baby bed, on request. Sofa convertible into a 120 bed for one person TV and internet access.

Come and enjoy the calm of the Limousin countryside in a pleasant little studio house. The accommodation includes a kitchenette, shower room, room with a 140 bed and dining area. The small house is heated with a wood burning stove. Guests can relax on the terrace. The property has a large garden. The house is 12 km from the A20 highway and 30 minutes from Limoges. For two-wheeled travelers (bicycles, motorcycles) I have a barn to shelter them.
