There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

Grandma vibe near Aavasaksanvaara near the Swedish border. Well equipped 50's cozy front style house. The house has a pirtti with a well-stocked kitchen, one bedroom, and a sauna department. The sauna section of the house has a chamber with overnight accommodation and a very good wood-burning sauna. The sauna wing was built in the 70s and the surfaces of the sauna and washroom have been renovated in the spring of 2023. Sleeps up to 5 guests. Dog guests are also welcome for an additional fee

Our luxury is peace and quiet under the starry sky and northern lights. You can get there by car, but you don't have to see anyone during your entire stay if you don't want to, but you're still only about 45 minutes from the city center. We are sure that you will fall in love with our peaceful cabin in the middle of snow and northern lights. The cottage is always warm when you arrive, and we will take care of you throughout your stay as if you were our friends.

Onnela Spacious cozy single-family home in the handsome landscape of Ylitornio. The house has four separate bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a dining area, a sauna and two toilets. Veneranta and Ylitornio's fine sandy beaches are only about 1 km away. Ainiovaara's stunning skiing and outdoor terrain are nearby. Aavasaksa ski slopes are about 15 km away. The house has a wood-burning sauna and a large fenced-in backyard where pets can run freely.

Relax with the family in this peaceful accommodation, in beautiful Båtskärsnäs, near Frevisörens camping (Nordiclapland) with swimming and activities. Guests' pets are welcome. Upon pre-booking, we can offer access to a wood-fired hot tub outdoors and kayak rentals. From Båtskärsnäs, popular boat trips also go out into the archipelago and in the winter we have nice ice and ski trails. Snowshoes, sleds and snowshoes are available to borrow.

Autumn hunting and berry picking opportunities. In winter and spring, great opportunities for snowmobiling, the route runs from the side. Just a 20-minute drive away is the ski resort of Ritavalkea.
