Holiday rentals with beach access in Outaouais

We loved our stay in Wakefield. Lynda's place is so lovely and full of charm and character. Located right on the main street in Wakefield you're steps away from local restaurants, the boardwalk along the river, shops and walking trails. We visit Wakefield often and stayed here while our house was getting some work done. The apartment was clean, cosy and comfortable. Really enjoyable stay.

Had a great stay at Jeremy's place, he was an excellent host. His place is very close to the Neat caffe which made for an easy walk home after the concert. We loved the river view and the lodgings were awesome, we would love to be able to stay there again if Jeremy would have us.

We had a great stay! The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The space was clean and comfortable, and the location was fantastic for what we needed. The bedrooms did run a little warm, but there were tower fans to help circumvent that and keep things comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

A lovely place to stay in Gatineau, we had a wonderful time, and everything was super convenient from check-in to location and access to shops, eateries, etc. Loved that it was so close to the water, in a quiet neighbourhood. Would recommend for short or long stay! Thank you Rebecca.

Michel’s place was really beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. It had everything you need and more! We spent a week with our dog enjoying the perfect location and space. From hot tub to the pellet stove to the arcade game, this truly has everything you need to relax and enjoy. From pre check in to check out, Michel was an outstanding host who was always responsive and helpful. He is so kind and warm always willing to help if we needed anything at all. Truly a superb host! We really would love to come back someday.

This place is incredibly peaceful, with beautiful surroundings. There's a great walking path—about 3 km one way. There’s also a canoe and a kayak available, which is a great bonus. Suzanna and Fred were the perfect hosts. We shared many wonderful conversations, and they were always helpful with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made our stay special. We would definitely go back happily and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Just don’t forget your bug spray!

Rox nous a offert un service 5 étoiles ! Elle nous a accompagné a chaque étape et elle a veillé à ce que tout se passe bien pour nous :) Ce fut un super séjour en famille entouré de paysages verdoyants. Nous avons particulièrement aimé utiliser les barques et le paddle board, mais également le fire pit et les jeux de société pour grand et petits. Les pièces étaient toutes propres et les draps sentaient bons le propre ! Nous recommandons cette maison à 100%

Notre fin de semaine a été géniale!! Nous étions 14 personnes et il y avait suffisamment de place pour tout le monde entre-autre assis à la table, au salon et toutes les places à coucher étaient très confortables! Il y avait une très grande variété de chose à faire sur place. Marc est un très bon hôte et il répond rapidement en cas de besoin! Je recommande!!!

I booked this for a late birthday celebration of a loved one. We were in awe of how beautiful it was! The view when you sit down at the dining counter in the morning is breathtaking. I was thinking of ways to actually buy the place lol! There was definitely a feminine touch that i noticed right away: Q-tips, round cotton pads, tampons. It was so thoughtful and refreshing to see something different, i love having q-tips wherever i go. Another thing, i was not prepared to how much kitchen ustensiles, seasonings there were. They really thought about EVERYTHING! flour, sugar, different sizes of skillets, etc… i plan to rebook again and again! It was worth every penny. I honestly wish more airbnb owners were this considerate in their planning. From the multiple games in the living room to the extra blankets in case it gets cold, there was a genuine thought behind it. The place is decorated so beautifully and cozy, got me thinking of moving in the mountains. Thank you so much Alex & Sarah!

Mercy’s place has a very cozy feel. The house feels worn in, in a nice way. You can tell people have lived in it for probably decades. Lots of privacy and beautiful nature engulfing the house. 5min drive to all amenities you could think of. For any music creatives out there, the basement is literally perfect for recording music. If you’re a light sleeper, one thing to note is the house is located next to a more Main Street with frequent cars and buses. The house also had no air conditioning that we were aware of, so for anyone that struggles with heat, it will feel quite warm during hot weather. For us these were merely trivialities; we loved our stay :)

Absolutely stunning setting and a very clean and well appointed rental. Charming vibe and super cozy set up. Amazing master suite and also very comfortable secondary suite. My family all felt “right at home” and we would definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Ottawa area. Jumped in the Ottawa River on May 18th and can attest to the cleanliness of the water and the nice sandy beach! Exceptional place to relax, refresh and recharge! This was my third time staying at this air bnb. It’s beautiful and the neighbourhood is lovely. We go to the Nordik spa and it’s a nice quick drive. There’s a cute cafe not far we had breakfast at. I highly recommend this air bnb.

Everything about this place was perfect! Very clean with modern appliances and beautifully designed home. The location is amazing and the views are incredible. Sylvain was very responsive and was receptive to a shorter than usual stay for his comfy place. An excellent host, he ensured that the propane gas fireplace had the pilot light lit, so it was easy to ignite upon arrive and get the place toasty warm within an hour or so of our arrival. Thank you, Sylvain! His partner Caroline was also very helpful with clear entry instructions for our past 8PM arrival... Merci pour tout, Caroline et Sylvain!

Superbe endroit, bien situé sur le bord du lac à proximité du village et de toutes les commodités. Le condo est impeccable, luxueux. Le fait qu’il soit au rez-de-jardin permet de sortir directement sur le terrain à quelques pas de la plage. Nous reviendrons ☺️

This rental is nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac in a historic working class neighbourhood of Hull, between the Ottawa River & Gatineau Park. It offers excellent privacy, peace & convenience. With bike paths & hiking trails nearby, it's the ideal spot for cyclists that want direct access to the park while staying close to the city. Nearby bus routes offer rides into downtown Hull & Ottawa. There are convenience stores, a café, gas station, and restaurants at walking distance. The unit is modest but well-kept and very clean, with all the required basics. Self check-in and connecting to the WiFi was easy. Water pressure & hot water were ample. The kitchen was functional. The television had a Netflix account for guests. I enjoyed the interesting variety of books. The linens were clean & the beds were adequate for comfort. Additional lamps would be a positive. The screened back porch is a nice spot to sit with a morning coffee. Thank you to the hosts! I would stay here again in the future.

Perfect place for a weekend at Mont Sainte Marie, right on the hill!

This was a perfect chalet for a weekend away. The location was great and they had everything we needed. We would definitely rent it again

been at Mike's quite often, to the point it feels like home every time now. best place we found to disconnect from our daily lives while still being close to civilization if need be. can not recommend enough
