A lovely cottage with idyllic surroundings. Very peaceful, right in the heart of the Morvan with an abundance of walks nearby. The dogs loved their break just as much as we did!

Housing located near the host which allows you to deal with any possible problem while remaining independent. Another unoccupied accommodation currently under renovation in the same courtyard does not pose a neighborhood concern. The property is completely enclosed, which allows dogs to be safe. Outdoor facilities provide access to a gas barbecue and a wooden table and benches, parasol. Fully functional interior services. Wifi ok. Host attentive. Mobile telephone network with little presence with the operator Coriolis. Trade in town: Bakery and grocery store, Lidl and B1 Château Chinon.

We had an exceptional stay at Gilles'. The cottage is ideally located, on the edge of magnificent natural spaces conducive to walks, and close to real cultural treasures such as Autun and Beaune, not to mention the superb castles and picturesque villages that dot the region. The accommodation is very comfortable, impeccably clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. Gilles gave us a warm welcome and was very available, with excellent advice for hiking in the area. Special mention to the adorable U2, who managed to soften our Viggo, a bit dominant but finally conquered. We would definitely recommend this property!

A very pleasant stay for six in a comfortable and convenient house, a green and peaceful environment. The park was much appreciated, all generations (four, from the two great grandmothers to grandson), and the dogs could be left in the wild Located a stone's throw from the city center, the property is away from the main axis, the street that serves it is quiet and not very transient. An experience to relive, why not?

Great place to stay with my wife and father, plenty of room for the three of us but it would be fine for more as well. Very quiet village and about twenty minutes from a supermarket so stock up. We walked and cycled from the house and visited other local towns. very peaceful location

Beautiful house, very spacious and really nicely done up inside. Lots of toys to entertain our kids and outside space. Highly recommend!

A house with a breathtaking view of the lake, a garden that allows you to bask in the middle of pretty roses and peonies... the wooden terrace is great, we ate there every day. We mainly enjoyed the outdoors but all the comforts are there in the house. Thanks to our host, it was really great.

We recommend Elisabeth's cottage, it is located in a quiet environment, it is well equipped and decorated with care. The swimming pool, bocce court and games room are a real plus. Élisabeth is very attentive to her hosts. We had a lovely weekend with the family in this refreshing place.

We only spent two nights, but it was perfect, the place is very peaceful, quite secluded but you can easily go shopping by driving 10 minutes. The surrounding forests are beautiful. I would just say that the rules are a little strict when it comes to the pool, but it can be understood. We'll be back!

Warm welcome and availability. Clara's cottage was perfect for our group of 12. I recommend this place lost in the greenery where the pool is pleasant after a day of sightseeing.

A lovely cabin in a beautiful area! Inside, nice, vintage details everywhere, outside a private patio where you can easily cook and a swimming pool for the much needed cooling. The hosts are both super nice and very willing to give you recommendations in the area (which are definitely worth it!). The icing on the cake is sweet dog Pipa who will come to greet you cheerfully. We felt very welcome, also to come back!

superb little tower in cut stone. The work of the stone is remarkable and done with care. There is all the comfort despite the small size of the building Louise is very welcoming and the breakfast is excellent. Not to be missed if you like the work and the beauty of the Auxois stone.

Very warm welcome, after we had received clear instructions about the key etc. via the messages from Airbnb. The entire apartment is super clean and tidy! Despite the lack of air conditioning downstairs, the living room is easy to keep cool. Large garden with a lovely swimming pool for cooling off.

What a special place to stay, this cottage has all the necessary supplies and is beautifully located on its own lake. All the fun things to do (water bike, swing, trampoline etc) were very much appreciated by our 3-year-old daughter.

The house is really very welcoming, we loved it, it has a closed garden which is very good when you go there with children. The exchanges with Pierre were very friendly, he was very responsive and very precise in the description and recommendations for the accommodation. The house is very well located, there are beautiful activities to do with the Lac des Settons which is not far and beautiful walks to do along the Cure. We'll be happy to go back.

A quaint cottage just like in the pictures in a small village. In addition to a beautiful church where we were spontaneously shown around by a lady from the village who we happened to speak. Beautiful walks made from the cottage with our dog. We saw different types of birds including the hops! Beautiful places nearby. A wonderful holiday in a cottage that is equipped with all comforts. A fenced garden with seating and sun loungers. In short, highly recommended!

We would recommend this listing! We had a great time with friends and kids. The fact that there is a small separate living room is very convenient for making a children's corner or a quieter area. The garden is great and closed (but not locked), but beware of nettles and tall weeds. It would be useful to add the presence of a large plancha in the listing. The house is very well equipped. The lakes are quite close and Settons Lake is great! Shady walks, parking and picnic spots, swimming, etc. Thank you!

Tom is a very welcoming host (he offered us honey of his own making and strawberries from his garden when we arrived) and discreet. Her accommodation is a pure marvel in the middle of this soothing and calm nature of the Morvan, decorated with taste and originality. What a pleasure to come home in the evening after a day of walking and feel at home. The equipment of the accommodation is perfect, Tom really thought of everything, from the outdoor terrace, to the air conditioning for the hot summers, to the pellet stove for the cold evenings, a space reserved for parking the car... and inside there is really everything: dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, oven, microwave, tea towels, salt, pepper, oil... washing machine, drying rack, ironing board, iron... The village of Chissey-en-Morvan is nearby with a small grocery store/bar/tobacconist/newsagent.

Accommodation in the heart of the Morvan, in a quiet environment (at the end of a cul-de-sac) and not far from the lakes. Beautiful garden, very nice terrace, my dogs enjoyed it and so did I.
