Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ouachita Parish

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean, fresh smelling, and plenty of room for my family. As we originally were planning on staying in a hotel, this Airbnb made us feel right at home. The host was very accommodating to our needs which made the stay very relaxing.

The house was spotless - and had everything we needed! The hosts were quick to respond to us at check in and check out. We would definitely stay here again!

Ronnie was very responsive and kind. His place was clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the bunks. The couch was very comfortable. And the wifi was pretty fast. The kitchen was fairly well stocked, though there wasn’t a whole lot of real silverware. There was plastic to supplement though. We were there for long, but based on our experience we would return if ever in the area.

We stopped here on our move from NC to Texas. Beautiful cottage located right off of the Highway. Owners were very helpful and responsive to accommodate a large U-Haul trailer and 2 cars. Loved the bathroom, backyard, and snacks they provided!

Cute place. It is an older home so it has its quirks. So if you appreciate older homes, you’ll love it. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen. The location is very close to a Walmart and restaurants. It’s on a private street that connects 2 other streets so there is a fair bit of traffic. Overall great stay. I would recommend this house.

It was a perfect place for me and my son to stay for the night. My son loved being able to play with the turtles.

I stayed at Connie’s house during the two day I was in town for graduation. Connie was so sweet and attentive. The place was clean. The backyard was very nice and a peaceful place to hang out. I took some cute graduation pictures there. I liked that it was close to VCOM/ ULM and Monroe civic center. There’s also a grocery store 3 minutes away.

Overall, it was a phenomenal experience. Super friendly host, great place to stay! No complaints at all, I felt completely at home my entire stay. Wish I could’ve stayed longer, and I highly recommend this air BnB for anyone needing to stay within the area.

This is the first time we have ever rented an AIRBNB. We can only hope that future rentals are as nice! The place was nice and quiet and only 3 minutes from the church. We really enjoyed our stay and already talking about booking to for next year. Thanks so much!

My stay at Kendrick’s home was awesome. He worked with me on changes to my arrival time and was quick in responding to messages. The home was clean, looked like the pictures, and I really felt at peace. The view of the bayou was a highlight in my weekend. Will definitely try to stay when back in the area.

I loved it lol forgot how to use the keypad a couple of times and forgot the code as well but it was great it wasn't loud or nosie the home itself was amazing I loved the room det up my mom visited and she loved the Betty boop pictures in the one room we loved it

Staying at Layton Castle exceeded my expectations! I stay in dozens of airbnb’s, and this truly was the best experience I’ve ever had.

We were glad to find this place at the last minute. It was a comfortable stay for the 2 of us and we could prepare simple meals. The house is also beautiful and quaintly furnished with local artwork. The neighbourhood is very, very quiet and felt safe. Lyn was very responsive to our questions. Appreciate Lyn’s help to get breakfast for us as we got in very late after a long flight.

She is good communicator and excellent host I have ever seen. if you want to stay I would recommend this.

Cool historical building! Comfortable and clean furnishings!

Downtown West Monroe, told my cousin to pick me up at Edges , the barbershop. He was a bit incredulous with me being bald and all. He gets his beard trimmed there. My other cousins get all their kids haircut there as well. They didn’t know about the Airbnb. So you walk through a barbershop filled with folks at the barbershop. The owners a transplant from NOLA, so apparently the town has embraced him and for good reason. The bakery across the street was da Bomb, courtyard on cotton art gallery had a great show of LA art. J-Mac’s sports bar was like stepping into a New Orleans locals hangout. Either bridge across the Ouachita river is an easy stroll to the Warehouse restaurant, or the Cotton exchange, and on the west Monroe side a Louisiana seafood joint lookin at Monroe across the river. The BBQ joint on Trenton st smelled right just didn’t have the time or belly to eat there. The WMPD’s detective unit is right across the street from the bakery and it shows. 5 stars all the way.

The penthouse was amazing! It was so great to get ready in for my wedding this past weekend. The host was very responsive and very flexible with my check in.

Loved the place. Could have used more explicit instructions for getting in. Can’t touch the key pad to light up the numbers. You must touch the first number of your code to light up the pad to make it work. Otherwise, it was great.

My mom stayed here while we were celebrating Christmas with my wife’s family. Very clean, nicely furnished, and convenient location!

Prime location in downtown. We easily walked to restaurants, bars, and even the civic center. Would definitely stay again.

This location in Monroe was very well located for work downtown or seeing many local restaurants and bars and amenities. Easy dedicated parking.
