Holiday rentals with a kayak in Onondaga County

This home was great! The game room kept the kids busy, the kitchen had everything we need, and the house was nice and cozy. Waking up to the lake in the morning was a highlight. Brad was attentive to all our needs - and even when something minor needed a fix he showed up to take care of it right away. We had a great stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful Stay at Ronnie’s! The house was exactly how it was described, and how it looked in the pictures. We couldn’t get enough of the beautiful backyard and we especially loved the loft, with comfy bean bag chairs and projector screen. The house was extremely clean and appointed with many amenities, including some extra thoughtful ones that weren’t even expected! Highly recommend this beautiful home, if you’re planning a trip to the area! If we ever come back, we will definitely be staying at Ronnie’s cozy cottage!

Beautiful stay, Shaun was easy to reach, if needed. The space was clean and well stocked. Beautiful spot on the water and close to some spots in town!

A comfortable and accommodating space with beautiful views of the lakes. The hosts were helpful and communicative. We knew exactly what was expected of us. Our favorite parts were: space for all staying with us, the very comfortable mattresses and the access to beautiful views greeting us morning and evening and in between. We enjoyed watching the resident ducks, geese, osprey, eagles, house sparrows while being serenaded by a song sparrow each morning. Kitchen appliances were modern and high quality. Bathrooms had attractive updated fixtures. As is not uncommon in CNY, the basement bedrooms felt a bit damp, which was helped by running the basement bathroom fan and AC fan while we were there. (The host has a dehumidifier that looks like it is probably run when guests are not using the space). The cleaning crew missed a few details before our arrival, but overall the space was acceptable and the host daily initiated reaching out to see if there was anything that needed addressed.

We loved this warm and cozy home and felt right at home. The decor is beautiful and it has all the comfort one could ask for. We enjoyed using the funicular to go down to the lake. Very safe and convenient! Pauley was super responsive and friendly and would love to come back in future.

Thank you for letting us stay again for our yearly family fishing trip! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come visit again next year!

We had a wonderful stay, even with some cloudy and rainy weather! Our kids (ages 10 and 6) loved all of the provided things to do at the water - especially the floating dock, paddle boards and fishing poles. They also loved the loft room! The house was extremely clean and well stocked! We loved the view from the screened in porch, and had coffee out there every morning. Firepit, provided firewood and chairs at the shore was perfect. Beautiful sunset views from the dock! We also enjoyed dinner out in Skaneateles (about 25 min drive) at Hidden Fish (sushi) and Gilda’s (small plates), both great! Beautiful spot at the lake for a couple or small family!

Absolutely loved our stay. This was the first time I had taken my family to my lake and Ben’s lake house did not disappoint. We separately rented a boat for the week and the slip at the lake house worked out perfectly. The accommodations were great, the views were great, the water was clean … it was pretty much the best vacation the whole family has ever had together!

We highly enjoying our stay at Samantha’s cottage. It was a beautiful weekend getaway and the fall foliage made it even better!! The kitchen was extremely clean, and had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. We weren’t there long enough to use the washer and dryer but I was grateful to have it if needed. The house has lots of natural sunlight, and the covered porch was great when it rained or when we didn’t want to make the walk down to the lake.

It was a very relaxing stay. The place was well stocked with appliances (tea kettle, instapot, full-sized coffee maker, etc). The lake was beautiful and we were visited by two different families of geese at daybreak and dusk.

What a place. Extremely well appointed ... virtually everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom, boathouse, you name it. The star of the show is the waterfront. We hung out on the lower deck during the day with the diving board and swim platform and then on the deck at night with the fire pit. we had 10 adults and 11, 7, 2 and 3 months ... plenty of room for everybody. Everyone involved was pleasant and very quick to respond. Just a great vacation. Looking forward to 2025!

We loved our stay. Everything was just as described. We would definitely stay here again! David and Betsy were extremely accommodating and the bottle of local wine was a really nice touch! Thank you!

John’s “camp” was perfect for our small group. The location is great- the lake is literally right at your feet, and while this is not your “luxury” rental, it’s exactly as described. Has the necessities plus a little more- vacuum, towels, Lysol wipes, plates, cups, etc. The spiral staircase has …a learning curve… but kept us laughing all weekend! As a host, John was great- I felt confident that if any issues were to arise (they didn’t) he would make sure we were taken care of. He was accommodating, polite, and friendly as well. We would love to come back!

This rental was super cute and comfortable right on the water. We had a girls weekend and had everything we needed at Courtney's place. The cottage overlooks the water and it is a beautifully clear lake. Beds were very comfortable and everything was neat and clean. There are a few set of stairs to get down to the cottage along with stairs to access the downstairs living quarters/bedroom so just be aware of that. We saw Eagles over the water and heard owls at night...very peaceful and private. Tons to do in the town of Skaneateles as well and lots of great restaurants. We would certainly recommend this rental to anyone and are looking forward to coming back!

Perfect lake location with a large flat yard and beach. Perfect for the grandchildren. Lots of water craft for guest use. Surprisingly little boat traffic on this part of the lake. Plenty of outdoor seating.Easy drive into town for supplies and dining. Hiking trails accessible right from the property. Cottage is rustic and quirky and about 100 yrs old but worked out fine for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids under 5. Kitchen was well supplied, nice sized living room for hanging out on rainy days (thanks hurricane Debby!). Big dining table for eating and playing board games. Washer/dryer came in handy. Plenty of towels! Jackie was a great host. Very responsive. We all fell in love with the amazing lakefront and would definitely return.

What a lovely gem of a place. Beautiful location on Oneida Lake in a nice and quiet neighborhood setting. The backyard patio was perfect. I enjoyed sitting outside, hearing lovely birdsong, and watching a pair of swans coming to visit in the morning, as well as watch the sunset over the lake at night. Only wish I was able to stay longer to make use of the kayaks provided! The stay was comfortable and exactly as described. The final turn/access road could be a bit tricky to find at night for this place, but directions were provided and I luckily arrived by day. Would highly recommend and looking forward to coming back!

This is a great little place, and the location is FANTASTIC. We had our boat in the back yard on Paul's dock - so awesome to have that convenience to go out fishing on the lake in the evening.

I was in for a long stay with work. This place was very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed the scenery of the lake and nature surrounding the house. House was very clean and up kept nicely as well. Thank you for the stay and absolutely recommend!
