Chernet was an awesome host. He showed me around Arba Minch and I really enjoyed spending time with him. His love for his city really came through. He was a super responsive and helpful host. The house is amazingly located with an awesome view on the 40 springs forest and the lake. It is a beautiful, traditional house with traditional furnitures and has all the amenities you need. The property is very safe. I highly recommend staying there and meeting Chernet if you come to Arba Minch. I can assure you, that you will have an amazing experience. I certainly did and already want to come back.

This is a brilliant place to stay if you want a really authentic cultural and eco stay in ethiopia. The manager of the site (Soloman) couldn’t have been more helpful and we enjoyed his company immensely. He provided complementary fruit and bread, organised a coffee ceremony, gave us samples of vegetables grown on site, and went shopping in the local village to buy things we needed during our stay. The 2 hectare site includes beautiful gardens and a stream. We saw a huge variety of birds, butterflies and insects in just 2 days. The house we stayed in was basic but comfortable with a simple kitchen, bedrooms and toilet.

It’s a piece of heaven in earth. Very different from Addis. Nature Africa. I had a conversation with the host that they should keep and develop the place for future generations and themselves. It’s just need some renovations of the infrastructure. Loved the place and I want to see/enjoy the place again and again…
