Holiday rentals in Dumbría

One of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The apartment was very clean with the most amazing views in a charming little town. Communication with the host was great! We are definitely coming back!

Apart from the magnificent views, I would highlight the indescribable tranquility of this dwelling. Inside you feel better than at home, everything you may need is there, you can see the care in pleasing and welcoming the people who are lucky enough to know this house. Appreciable cleanliness. The village is authentic. The environment is amazing, and we still have a lot of things to see. Both Carlos and Maria treated us in the best way, with kindness and full willingness. In general, beautiful sensations that we hope to feel again. Thank you.

Naomi's place was a great spot to relax and recharge for a few days. The picture window in the living room frames a view that might be an oil painting or photograph in less fortunate lcations - you look out over a serene bay with a small beach in the foreground, sailing boats in the background, and seagulls wheeling overhead. The place itself is spacious & well equipped. The main bathroom has a small utility / drying room off of it with a washing machine and plenty of space to hang clothes. There were plenty of towels for both the bathroom and to take to the beach for a quick swim (we did - it was brisk, but nice). The kitchen is well equipped and the induction cooktop is easier to use and control than many we've come across in European AirBnBs. On street parking across the street from the apartment can be a bit of a challenge but we usually found parking either there or slightly further down the road. The place was quiet during the week - but can get busy on the weekends.

From the first moment, we were impressed by the views of the sea, which are really spectacular, but what made the difference was the level of detail and care with which the apartment is prepared. It's not just that it's clean, which it is - and a lot - but that you can tell that every corner has been cared for with love and dedication. The sensation upon entering is one of harmony, order and comfort. Everything is impeccable: from the perfectly placed bedding to the kitchen utensils organized with discretion and taste. Absolutely nothing was missing. Each space conveys warmth and is designed to make you feel at home (or better). The atmosphere is cozy, bright and full of small details that show the good taste of the hostess. And speaking of the hostess, Marisa has been exceptional. Attentive, kind, close. You can tell that she puts her heart into what she does and that is reflected in every aspect of the stay. A 10-star accommodation. We will definitely repeat.

This apartment was in the perfect location, with the entryway on a pedestrian street, and the back windows looking out to the water/marina. We were ale to walk everywhere we wanted to, although we drove to the lighthouse since we were dressed for a nice dinner. There is a DELICIOUS German Baker, and a grocery store on the same "block" which was very convenient. Our Host provided an extremely thought binder of great information about the area, in MULTIPLE languages. When we arrived, there was some water, milk and juice in the fridge for our use. They have an Italian coffee maker, which we were completely unfamiliar with, but our Host sent a youTube video instructing us how to use. We would stay here again if in the area.

The apartment is really nice, the pool and the huge balcony and garden were a highlight, so we were actually only inside to sleep. The location is beautiful, because you have sun in the morning and evening and shade at noon. Only for noise-sensitive people, we would like to point out that the street above is very busy and you can hear it until late in the evening. There are also several dogs that bark a lot at night. It didn't bother us, but we closed the windows at night, even though the air was so nice to sleep in. However, there is an air conditioning. The pool was cleaned regularly and the facility was also very well maintained. There was the possibility of getting additional towels, bed linen and cleaning, a super service (for a stay of one week.) We got great excursion and restaurant tips, which is very helpful because the area is fortunately still very authentic and not very touristy. For us, definitely 👍
