Holiday rentals with breakfast in Nuwara Eliya

We had a wonderful time at Clovefield villa. The caretaker, Wasanthi, and her husband treated us very well - Wasanthi is an amazing cook! The location is absolutely stunning, and sure to delight any nature lover. We will be back for sure. Magical!

Fantastic home and some great help from Danuo and Praba who cooked some fantastic food and were always there to help and offer services and information . Praba was a great Caddy ! Overall a fantastic host, house helps and definitely recommend for families and friends coming to Victoria

Wir haben uns von der ersten Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem komfortablen, großen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus. Es liegt am Ende einer ruhigen Seitenstraße mit einem tollen Blick über das Tal und den Fluss bis zu den Bergen. Sakunthala hat uns supernett begrüßt und alles getan dafür, dass wir uns gut aufgenommen fühlten. Sie ist darüber hinaus auch eine gute Köchin die uns bestes Essen serviert hat. Auch die Hausbesitzer Aude und Ariyam, die wir später kennenlernen durften, sind sehr nett und waren immer bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so bequem wie möglich zu gestalten. Das einzige, was wir bereuen, ist, dass wir nur drei Tage gebucht hatten und dann weiterreisen mussten. Sehr gerne würden wir nochmal kommen. Vielen Dank für alles! Katharina

Ein toller Gastgeber und eine tolle Unterkunft, hoch in den Bergen. Ajith ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, er hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt und sehr unterstützt bei der Organisation unserer Weiterfahrt. Auch sein Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir durften sogar unsere Wäsche in der Waschmaschine waschen und der gegrillte Fisch war ausgesprochen lecker. Vielen Dank Ajith für die tolle Zeit hoch in den Bergen 🙏

When you arrive there you feel top of the world. Literally the clouds coming in now and then gives you a heavenly feeling. Very beautiful location and surroundings. The privacy it gives you just feel at home. This is an old building set in a quiet village in the hills of Nuwara Eliya. One might feel somewhat remote, but this is the actual holiday home one desires to spend some own peaceful moment at. But some refurbishment in the kitchen would make it just perfect destination itself. The owner and caretaker/ manager were very responsive. Thanks to all. Would definitely recommend this property when you are a big group.

Wow! I have been traveling with AirBnB for 11 years now and have never had such a great experience. The slogan "Your second home" is not just a slogan, but a reality right from the start. I can only recommend this accommodation to everyone. From the facilities and service to the location, everything exceeded our expectations. In addition, Gampola is an authentic place where you can get to know Sri Lanka at its best in an oasis of tranquillity in the midst of different religions. Centrally located, Gampola offers a good starting point to discover the surrounding area, all the way to Kandy.

Very nice place not far from the main road. Appartment was clean, spacious with interesting details. Two rooms with huge beds, big living room with dining table and terrace. Our host was very responsive, waited for our arrival and even woke up very early morning to say goodbye. Outstanding thing i liked the most were ,,jungle sounds'' i enjoyed getting asleep with. I recommend!

The property was absolutely worth the price—clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all amenities. Amal (if I’ve spelled it right) assisted us really well throughout our stay. Just two small suggestions: the door in the bedroom behind the TV needs a bit of repair, and it would be great to add a sunlight-blocking curtain for that room’s balcony, as the morning sun was quite strong. Other than that, everything was excellent. Thanks for a great stay!

Поездка была семейная. Посмотрели фото, очень красивые пейзажи. Ожидания оправдались. Дом находится на высоте, очень красивый обзор, утром туман окутывает горы, просто супер! Хозяин всегда на связи и может решит все вопросы. В доме нас встретил управляющий, расположил, вызвал транспорт для поездки в город. В доме есть камин, вечером посидеть у камина приятное времяпровождение. Комнаты чистые, есть все необходимое, горячая вода. Утром нас накормили завтраком. В доме прекрасная оранжерея. Обеденный стол находится с прекрасным видом! Нам все понравилось. Мы рекомендуем, если будете в Нувара-Элии сделать остановку в этом доме.

Great place! Pros: + awesome hosts + comfortable pillows and mattress, warm blanket + amazing view from a big balcony + you can order a food for 3-4 usd/person + good bathroom with hot water Cons: - it didn't seemed as the whole private apartment. It's more like 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, because sofas and kitchen are a shared spaces. Take into consideration that the location on the map doesn't match. You can find the place in maps as "Hanthana view". Recommend!)

Great place for convenient stay if you're climbing Adam's Peak, just a short walk away from the entrance. Place is sufficiently stocked with amenities for your rest before and after the hike. Madu is a warm and friendly host who can help you if you need transport bookings or advice on the hike. The breakfast provided is very abundant and filling. There is also food to order if dinner is needed the night before the hike. PSA: Adam's Peak is quite a drive in, do take into consideration when booking transport to the guest house. Very thankful for a good post-hike meal, warm shower, and decent bed to rest on. Would recommend!

Sudesh's place is a dream! Super quiet with sourrounding jackfruit and palm trees. His mother and wife were cooking amazing sri lankan lunch and dinner for only a few dollars extra. The including breakfast with different type of fruit and baverages was really good. Sudesh is also owener of a tuktuk pick up which is really helpful to get into town. This homestay is defenetly recommended and is one of the prettiest we stayed at.

Nous avons été ravi de notre séjour. Amantha et son équipe étaient à notre écoute et répondaient à toutes nos demandes. L’environnement est exceptionnel, cadre magnifique, vue sur le lac.. un vrai havre de paix. La nourriture est excellente et Amantha s’adapte à vos besoins. Nous avons passé une journée avec Nalaka sur les recommandations d’Amantha, à visiter Kandy ; une journée parfaite. Un petit coin du Sri Lanka que nous ramenons en France. Une belle pensée pour Amantha. Merci pour tout.

The Officers Mess is a superb find, with fascinating history. It's been transformed into to a light, modern, space with a great eye for interior design. Sat on the veranda, the view outside is idealic, and the dogs frisking around on the lawn are adorable. Andrew is an amazing host, and left us feeling like old friends. Nothing was too much trouble, we ate some of the most delicious food we've had so far in Sri Lanka, and left feeling more knowledgeable about this beautiful country, wishing we could stay at the Officers Mess a while longer. Thank you so much for looking after us - we've had the best time :) Tom and Harriet

Bei unserer Ankunft in der Appleton Villa waren wir sehr überrascht. Zwar ist sie etwas abgeschieden von Nuwara Eliya, daher empfiehlt sich ein eigenes Fahrzeug, aber die Unterkunft ist die modernste und luxoriöste, die wir bisher auf Sri lanka gefunden haben. Das Zimmer ist super sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man so benötigt - sogar mit einem großen Smart-Tv. Das Bett ist wahnsinnig Bequem und die dicke Bettdecke perfekt für die kühlere Region. Die Dusche hat heiß Wasser und einen Föhn. Das Frühstück ist auch super Umfangreich und man verlässt morgens gesättigt das Haus. Der Host ist super und sehr bemüht, dass es einem gut geht. Deswegen haben wir gleich noch eine Nacht hier gebucht.

Wir haben wunderbare Tage bei Liz verbracht. Wir haben fein gegessen und sie hat unseren Kindern jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Optimaler Standort für Tagesausflüge zum botanischen Garten oder zum Ambuluwawa Tower. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Our best find in Sri Lanka. Hosts, Michael & Ruwanthi are so friendly & helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had a truly wonderful time. Glyn Myu is beautiful, luxurious & very comfortable. The location is quite simply breathtaking. Ruwanthi is an incredibly talented cook serving exquisite meals with most ingredients gathered from her extensive garden. Her knowledge of the dietary & medicinal properties of her homegrown larder is very impressive. She is also delighted to share her passion & knowledge. A Sri Lankan gem where we felt welcome, relaxed & immediately at home. They have a very informative website with contact details!
