Lovely and peaceful homestay. Nice little extras like fruit and coffee, hammocks and a yoga space over the water. Nice views of the mountains & rice fields.

Centrally located, part of a boutique hotel in a good neighborhood for accessing the old quarter. Very easy check in and out process and despite being multi-unit, was still private. I would visit this AirBNB again.

I picked this place as I had a retreat at Tao Garden, this place is literally right next to it! Very convenient and easy to find.

Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip to Chiang Mai. The house and property are absolutely stunning, and made for a great reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city. Waking up in such a unique space was so relaxing, and having coffee and breakfast in the morning was an unexpected delight! Perhaps my favorite part was the darling kitty Lucy who we absolutely fell in love with. We will definitely look forward to booking again on our next trip here!

The first thing you will notice as soon as you enter the place is Maewins hospitality. We saw Maewin guest house on Airbnb. However, if you want to see more reviews you can check them out on Google too. The place itself is very beautiful with trees all around and very authentic. Our room was more than enough for two people and it also had a cute balcony. The experience turned out to be unforgettable and it’s way better than all the reviews and photos we saw in advance. The owner is a family who has close symbiosis and cooperation with the local community. They provide such a valuable and rare experience and atmosphere. The dinner here was quite delicious with fresh ingredients being used in every meal. Further, they helped us arrange transfers and activities close by. The driver was very nice and sincere and took us to many places for a full 15 hours! He also took good care of us. This has been one of the most unforgettable accommodation experience I have had in the past few years

We had a great time. Very kind host and perfect acomodation. 25 minutes walk to the center but that was not a problem for us, we enjoy the walking. thank you for having us :)

First time in Muang Ngai town and love this village and nature around, especially 2 stunning mountains. At Lara's house, I got panoramic view of hills and rice fields surrounded..Truely green breeze! The house is beautiful, comfortable & spacious. There's also kitchen space at back of the house where you can do cooking. This place & town is peaceful, good for getaway, quietly working/reading. The area of village is also perfect for biking, local market, café & mini mart are within 3 km. radius. Really enjoy my stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Starly Night Cottage. The staff were lively, and the accommodation worth the price we paid. The staff were kind enough to let us use there own kitchen. Breakfast was brought to our cottage each morning. We especially enjoyed the company of the 2 dogs!

Sawitree and her family have been amazing hosts! They live on a beautiful property with chickens, cats, and mountain views. The Airbnb spaces are clean, private, and quiet. Sawitree and Joe have gone out of their way to make my stay comfortable. You will need your own transport for the area - it's worth it! Highly recommend.

A cute traditional Thai wooden cozy house, well restored, clean and comfortable, with big shaded place outside. Placed in a farming garden, the environment is quiet and calm, with nice countryside landscapes. Owners leave near and are really kind and helpful for everything. We were passing by and We liked everything !

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Waree Onsen! Der Kontakt war durchgehend herzlich und aufmerksam, sodass wir uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt haben. Das Essen war frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet – ein echter Genuss! Das Bett war unglaublich gemütlich und sorgte für erholsame Nächte. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Balkon mit der traumhaften Aussicht, der perfekt war, um die harmonische und ruhige Umgebung zu genießen. Die Gegend ist eine Oase der Entspannung, ideal zum Abschalten und Auftanken. Ein weiteres Highlight war das Fußmassagegerät, das uns nach unseren Ausflügen eine wunderbare Erholung bot. Ebenso wie natürlich der Onsen-Pool mit heißen Wasser. Hier ein Tipp, an der Rezeption wird Badesalz verkauft, das angenehm für die Haut im Pool. Der Service war erstklassig – jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt, und wir fühlten uns rundum verwöhnt. Wir können diesen Ort nur empfehlen und freuen uns schon darauf, eines Tages wiederzukommen. Unreal stay at Fongs Homestay. Fong and her family carved out a little piece of heaven way out in northwest Thailand. The property and scenery are beautiful. Stayed here for 1 night during our journey on the MHS loop. Fong and her family are so sweet. She met us and gave us a neighborhood tour, cooked us dinner with her family (special new years celebration) and made us breakfast before sending us on our way. Sad to leave but I’d recommend anyone to stay here. It’s about 10 min out of the main town by motorbike

I had contact to Patraporn online and to her mother Kamonvon in Chiang Rai. Both speak thai, english and german. Both are very kind. Kamonvon can recommend you sightseeing or support with language skills - she helped us rent some bicycles in order to explore the area. We went to see pineapple fields. :) 10/10 host

实在是太棒了，全新的别墅，房东超级美丽，服务也非常周到，真的好喜欢这个超大的泳池，还有超大的音响，强烈推荐，住的非常舒服！他们的图片拍的并不是很好，实际上的别墅太美丽了，我拍的才是真正的样子🥰

奶奶的房子其实算自己家，如果是追求酒店级的服务和设施就不推荐了，但是如果想体验高性价比以及更贴近本地人的文化生活，那这里将是你的很不错的选择，人均50rmb一晚的价格可以说是很便宜，冰箱里有饮料提供，厨房有咖啡和黄油烤面包，全部都是免费的。两位奶奶和她们的三条小狗都很热情，会给你一种回家了的感觉。院子里的景色很漂亮，把木头和绿色景观结合得很好，仿佛置身于树林里的小木屋。 需要注意的点： 1.去之前记得提前准备要牙刷、牙膏和毛巾，民宿里只提供浴巾、洗发水、沐浴露。 2.大厅周围因为绿植比较多，还有一个小水池里面养了鱼，所以会有蚊子，如果想在大厅里坐着休息，提前问奶奶要驱蚊喷雾。

the host lady is amazingly kind my flight has been cancelled, so i explain my situation to her the next day she willing to give me another room without charging when i arrived, this facility is very clean, everything was organised. host ready willing to help me for anything i've never had such a hospitality like this before. very good location highly recommended

The homestay was what I needed for a few relaxing days. All of the property was so peaceful and quiet; I didn’t even realize there were other guests on site. The area is just right outside of town and easy to get to via Grab. There are not a lot of places you can just walk to but there are plenty of bikes to use and I actually enjoyed just taking my time walking back from one of the nearby museums. The quiet country side was quaint and beautiful. There are lots of amazing sites and restaurants to see nearby and the hosts were great at communicating and ensuring that my stay was comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic! My stay was remarkable. Everyone was very accommodating and tolerant of my quirks and it was a serene atmosphere to recover from my illness and realign myself with the important things in life.

Rice Barn and Rooms is indeed a home away from home for my family and i. We had an amazing experience from the moment we were picked up from the airport to the day we departed. Al and Nok are more than superhosts who made us feel at home, and shared truly wonderful recommendations that allowed us to experience true Chiang Mai gems. Rice Barnes and Rooms is clearly build and managed with loads of love and creativity inspiring and inducing serenity, peace, and we have clearly left a piece of our hearts back there.

Excellent stay- for sure this will be our go-to place when in Chiang Mai. Our room was spacious, clean and had plenty of wardrobe space to organize and put away our things. I work online (involving video calls) and the internet was always fast and never went away. The shower water temperature is stable and gets very hot! The bed was super comfortable with nice soft, clean linens. There aren't too many rooms so it's never too crowded- definitely not a party/hostel vibe, but still friendly. At night there is a restaurant on site! Also there's a common kitchen you can use, as well as a full size fridge. Laundry services are available on site. Staying here just feels like staying in someone's home- you feel cared for and just at peace. The hosts are always there for you and there are a few resident cats too! The surrounding area is super walkable with plenty of great restaurants and shops. Maya center is an easy 20 minute walk away, or a cheap Grab taxi ride.
