Excellent location, secluded and quiet in beautiful surroundings in the Vosges. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and always available by phone. Thank you for the hospitality - we were able to unwind and enjoy nature!

We had a relaxing week long stay here and absolutely loved it. The hut is kitted out with everything we needed, and for those used to hit stays it is perfect. The bed is comfortable and therrs plenty of space. We were treated to amazing dawn & dusk choruses, as well as seeing various wildlife from the hut including hares, pheasants, chiff chaff & even house martins. The hosts are warm and friendly, and the cake on arrival was delicious! We're already looking forward to another visit!

Celebrated our 1 year anniversary and it was absolutely lovely, we are definitely going back! Lynden was so lovely and gave clear instructions that made finding eveything so easy, love our tour of the farm and feeding all the animals that were so friendly! The room was really nice and decorated so beautifully & really appreciated the complimentary snacks. We loved the hot tub, lighting the fire for our marshmallows, and how close the animals got to us! Was a lovely place to stay felt so at home and welcomed, would define my recommend :)

We had the best 2 night stay in the Shepards hut ! From being surrounded by the absolutely stunning gardens, meeting the wild ducks and peahen 🦚 🦆 to exploring the absolutely stunning coastline and the Galloway forest park it really had everything we could have asked for and more. Our Hosts were absolutely lovely and did everything to make sure we had an epic stay. We loved having the gardens to ourselves it felt like we’d walked into another world. The bed was super comfy and the hut had everything we needed for our stay ! It was so cozy and clean and we will definitely come back in the near future ! It’s located perfectly as well with the tearoom on site and only being a 15 minute drive from Stranraer and 13 minute drive away from the Kitchen Coos and Ewes which we highly recommend doing whilst in the area if you want to get up close and cuddle and groom highlands cows. Perfect location for relaxing, everything you need, even homemade cake, yummy, and walking if you want to, although some quite steep hills. We walked to Watermouth Castle, then took a bus to Ilfracombe, we walked to Coombe Martin then over the hills and back. Watch the bus times tho! The outside bath is a must and the fresh flowers and milk are a lovely extra touch too! Be careful to duck in and out of the horsebox door but the shower is hot and powerful. We had a lovely time in our little piece of North Devon for a long weekend 😀

Everything was just perfect. Very easy checkin, clear instructions on how to use everything, beautifully furnished with great amenities, loved that we could buy local produce too. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be at one with nature and have a few days to switch off. We will definitely be back!!

Lucy's retreat was a beautiful place to stay, the perfect couples getaway. She left local reccomendations, great directions, a birthday banner and even some treats for us, such thoughtful touches. Everything was perfect and spotless, great place to take our dog to. I couldn't reccomend this place enough thanks so much for a lovely getaway *****

We had such a wonderful stay for my partners birthday, Clive went the extra mile to make us feel welcome by putting up some birthday decorations and leaving us some treats for when we arrived. It's a perfect place to get away and unwind in nature, we were always surrounded by animals whether it was Norman the cat visiting during a bbq, hanging out with the goats, or watching the ducks drift about in the stream while relaxing in the hot tub. Thank you very much to Clive and Nikki for hosting us. I cannot recommend Kingfisher enough, we truly had an amazing time :)

I had a wonderful stay at the peerie neuk. Melanie has carefully created a very special place to stay. The hut is clean and cosy with privacy and a stunning setting. I was on a bike and the location made it easy to access all I had hoped to enjoy in Unst. Helpful and practical, Melanie was also lovely to talk to. I'll be booking again. Thank you Melanie!

Mike's place was an absolute dream for our pre-baby, relaxing getaway with our Whippet! It completely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on the SW coast path yet feeling wonderfully secluded, while still being just a quick 5-minute drive to Lyme Regis. Although the listing mentioned the garden wasn't fully secure, we found it to be very secure for our Whippet which was an added bonus. There are also several gates to pass through on the way from the parking area, adding to the security. Our dog lovedddd running about with a frisbee and then sunbathing ha! We honestly loved the property so much (especially the pool!) that we barely left, only venturing out for morning coffee and breakfast. Mike's recommendations were spot on – Poco Pizza was fantastic for takeaway, and communication was excellent throughout. We'll be hard-pressed to find another Airbnb that compares and look forward to coming back with our baby. Thank you!

Had a beautiful time at The Great Escape! Such a peaceful place with lush surroundings. The hot tub was such a treat and the hut was very clean with all the amenities you could need. Would absolutely come back!

Perfect quiet getaway with our 3 month old baby. Did get very hot due to heatwave, but lots of windows that can be opened and through draught. Amazing location, good kitchen, 2 hobs, fridge with freezer box section, good set of kitchenware. Bathroom, lovely shower and toiletries. All round perfect for our getway

Lovely relaxing escape, just what we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Owl Hut. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, relaxed, and completely at home. Self check-in was very easy. The hosts, Nat & Mark not only left us with some very useful information about the hut and surrounding areas, but also left us a lovely little welcome note on arrival. The hut itself is beautifully designed, with so many lovely little touches that made it feel extra special. We especially appreciated all of the thoughtful dog essentials, our French Bulldog felt just as welcome and at home as we did 🐶 The location is so quiet and serene. We were able to slow down, reconnect, and fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We only stayed for one night but wished we could have stayed for longer. We highly recommend this beautiful place. Wow - what a magical place to stay. Daniel has created a beautiful get-away, and so close to the beach. We were amazed at the craft that has gone into making the shephard's hut, hot tub and sauna, and the garden room! Hot tub: We enjoyed our prosecco in the hot tub which was great. The tub has colour changing lights and got nice and hot. It was quite dark and stormy when we went in which only added to the experience! We just kept saying "wow." Lovely white towel robes too. Sauna: Sauna was fab and heated up very quickly. Cold shower close by to cool down with. Garden room: lovely little chill out area. Little hang drum, a guitar (bottom string missing), ukulele and a cool darts board which was great fun (dart plastic a bit worn) but nonetheless great fun. Shephards hut: very cosy, comfy bed and great nights sleep. Bathroom clean and great smelling soap. Area: relaxed, and local JJ's chippy was excellent and had great food at Paul Jones restaurant. Lots of shells on the beach

Superb place to stay And host been very helpful for everything I am looking to book it again I am willing to travel 4 hrs just to stay here that explains how much I loved this place Superb peaceful and pleasant experience Everyone should experience it atleast once

Tinkerbell Retreat is a perfect, peaceful place to get way and enjoy the outdoors. The shepherds hut is high quality and had a homely feel. The outdoor seating areas are great to get the most of the beautiful space. The space is so private and quiet. We were amazed by the 'visiters' that came to say hello, swans, geese, parakeets, robins, ducks, a heron, woodpecker, kingfisher and a deer. A morning coffee by the river, bbq lunch, and a evening drink in the hotub is a perfect way to enjoy the day. Yasmine is a lovely host, knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to say 'hi'. The walk into Weybridge is lovely, with lots of coffee shops and pubs. We will return next summer to enjoy once more. Martin & Judi

This was our first airbnb stay ever and it couldn't have been more perfect. Our stay at Haystore was exactly what we wanted, peaceful relaxing night away. We went for a evening walk with our dog and the view from top of the farm was stunning. We used the bbq to cook steak for dinner and enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Hottub was fantastic and bottle of fizz is a lovely touch. We would definitely stay again. Thank you so much😊

We had the most incredible weekend at the hut, quiet peaceful location with amazing scenery. Kate was a fantastic host and provided us with helpful instructions to find the place and a load of recommendations for activities/food. The accommodation itself was clean and tidy and had all the essentials to make it a wonderful place to stay, thank you so much we will certainly be looking to come back soon!

Amazing location. Staff very friendly and quick to help. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay somewhere with great walks, views and a cozy stay. Only negative was the unclean loo and bed throw but besides that everything was fantastic. 5/5 👏🙌🏾 Thank you!

Excellent stay at the Shepard’s hut, it’s a cosy and quirky little place.. bed was comfy and the hot tub was great in morning and after a long day. Kate and Nathan were really friendly and helpful it’s also a lovely area . Would highly recommend

Myself partner and pooch🐶 were welcomed by Jane the moment we arrived. We received clear communication via msg ahead of arrival ensuring we knew all details and had a lovely introduction to the shepherds hut! We had some lovely treats on arrival and a stunning hut/view! The tub was ready for 7pm and was cleaned during our stay also. The fire wood lasted the duration of our stay and we made a fire each night. We were made to feel more than welcome. The hut is out of the way which made us feel like it’s just us and the wilderness! The pooch loved it. Lovely getaway! Jane informed us of nearby locations and even informed us of the ‘Strawberry Moon’ which was appearing during our stay which was lovely to see. All around amazing time!! Thank you so much!!! ❤️
