The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on our property. Next to the house is the bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist!

You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. The apartment "Hühnernest" is lovingly furnished and well maintained in an older farmhouse. With the organic vegetables and the organic eggs from the farm shop, we were able to prepare a delicious dinner twice in the well-equipped kitchen. Katja and Jörge welcomed us very warmly and we were in lively exchange with them after a short time. We learned some interesting things about the company.

Vacation home "Altstadt Northeim"

We immediately felt right at home in this space and the apartment is bigger than it looks in the pictures! It is in the heart of Northeim with all the shops and restaurants in close proximity. We have a baby and a toddler, so it was convenient to easily bring our double stroller in and out of the front door and walk through town. The Hotel Schere is right across the street and their restaurant is open for 3 meals a day if you want to eat out when other restaurants and cafes are closed. The weather was warm and there was occasional noise from the hotel bar at night, but it was minimal and we all slept well. If you are traveling with a baby, young children, or elderly people there are some stairs in the apartment fyi (a staircase down to the bathroom, a few steps into the living room). It wasn't a problem, but we also kept a close eye when our baby when she was crawling around. Detlev was a gracious host and we hope to be able to stay here again!

We booked with Jeff based on the very good reviews and photos of this apartment. It was really a very good decision and our expectations were more than met. This apartment is very high quality and Jeff and his wife really have a knack for decorating and decorating. In addition, a beautiful indirect lighting "pulls" through the entire apartment. ✨️ The terrace is also, as can be read in other reviews, really an absolute highlight with a fantastic view. Jeff was very communicative, friendly and absolutely eager to make us feel completely comfortable and that we lacked nothing. 😊 We really enjoyed the days - thank you very much!
