Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Nordwestmecklenburg

We had two very nice days in the apartment, which was super well equipped. Above all, communication with the landlord was impeccable; very helpful and available at all times. Thanks for that!

The cozy little cottage, overgrown with fragrant roses, was just the thing for a break. In the morning you wake up to the sound of birdsong, in the evening hedgehogs run across the terrace. An idyll with super lovely hosts who live next door. Lake Ratzeburg is about 15 minutes away by car.

The accommodation has a very nice and quickly heating sauna, which can be used spontaneously and without long planning. In addition, there is a large quiet garden - perfect for reading and resting or for making a campfire. The proximity to Lübeck and Schwerin is great to take a day trip. :) The only drawback is that it gets quite bright in the sleeping area, especially because there is a skylight in the east direction. A way to darken would be desirable here. Otherwise, it should also be mentioned that the surroundings with the lakes are really beautiful and you can also watch (wild)animals there very well. Hosts Scarlett and Robert are also happy to lend you binoculars and give you tips.😊

The house of Thomas and his family is very quietly located on the edge of a forest. So quiet that deer and hares run through the garden. The garden is nice and large and offers many play options (trampoline, ball, table tennis, etc.), but also opportunities to relax and grill. My 2-year-old son was very busy because there is also a lot to discover in the house. The communication with Thomas was very relaxed and nice and he even came over once to mow the lawn. Excursions to the local beach Wohlenbeker Wiek and to the Wismar zoo made our stay complete. We will definitely come back again 🤗 Thank you 🙂

We spent a great few days in this beautiful house. The children loved to count the numerous snails, to discover the dike with the handcart or to make bread on a stick in the garden. In the morning, we saw a deer with two fawns up close and were able to observe numerous birds. And Mechthild and her husband were also very nice hosts with whom you could have a chat in the garden from time to time.

We had a very nice time in the pool house. The location by the stream is very beautiful and the view is simply relaxing. A huge highlight for the kids, to see the deer and the swans every morning. What was also great was that you can get to super beautiful beaches in a short time with the bikes. The hosts Sophia and Ben are very friendly and have a super pleasant and uncomplicated manner. We were allowed to spend a few days in Jules house and enjoyed it very much. The surrounding area is very beautiful, rural and quiet! The house offers a lot of comfort, has a large garden, which was perfect for our kids! We can definitely recommend this house! Thank you for a great break!

We (2 adults, 2 dogs) were allowed to enjoy the accommodation with a completely fenced garden and cozy terrace very spontaneously for 3 days. That's exactly what we did. Gunnar welcomed us kindly, explained everything and then handed over this beautiful, clean, well-located house, equipped with everything you need in everyday life, together with equipment. No hidden extra costs or similar. We were absolutely thrilled and can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. The location is also very nice and above all quiet, which we liked very much. All excursion destinations were very easy to reach from here. All around top short trip!

We were looking for a short break from city life and that is exactly what we got: picturesque nature in the area, wide fields, a beautiful old estate on which the apartment is in the back, absolute silence at night, relaxing peace and quiet during the day. Henrike is a great and very nice host and also the rest of her family is very nice and helpful. We and our dog felt very much at home. We will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice extended weekend in Anja's apartment. In the accommodation we immediately felt comfortable, everything was there, what we needed and Anja was very helpful and nice in the communication. Clear recommendation!

We enjoyed the week at Marzena's very much. The accommodation is very quietly located within walking distance of the lake, where you can also use the rowboat, e.g. for fishing. We were also allowed to use the garden and bicycles, which we really liked. Beautiful bike tours and hikes can be started from the property. Marzena always provided us with good tips on excursions and restaurants and was always approachable. If we find ourselves in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

We had a great week at Stefan's. The apartment was cozy, very clean and perfect for two people, with everything you need. We especially liked the fireplace😍, the proximity to the beach and the absolute tranquility – we slept wonderfully thanks to the lack of traffic. We had a really great time staying at the place! Everything was super relaxed – totally quiet, but still you can walk to the beach or the village in a few minutes. Perfect mix. We were there with two dogs and everything just worked out: The garden is completely fenced, the two could move freely, and we didn't have to worry about anything. Otherwise, the apartment was well equipped – it really lacked nothing. Everything is very clean, tidy and furnished with a lot of love. Lutz was super friendly, totally uncomplicated and flexible – you just feel welcome. The bicycles were a great extra, and the fact that they even thought of the spa card and a guide was really practical. In short: We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back. We have now been guests at Eric's for the third time and it has once again been really pleasant. The quiet location, the beautiful accommodation and the perfect connection to public transport are simply perfect for us! We will be happy to come back!

Our stay was wonderful, the house is big enough to retreat but at the same time has enough space in the kitchen and living room to be together in a larger group. Very tastefully decorated, walking distance to the beach.

We had a wonderful wellness weekend with the girls in this fantastic house! We were particularly enthusiastic about the beautiful outdoor area, which together with the hot tub created a really relaxed atmosphere. The sauna was also a real highlight. The bedrooms are super nice and cozy, and the whole house is modern and lovingly designed – you immediately feel at home. The short way to the beach is perfect for walks. The only small drawback: Shopping is a little further away. But for that, the great house always compensates! Absolutely recommend, we'll be happy to come back!

A special place to stay! The house is beautiful and modern, with many technological gadgets that make the stay extra comfortable. The pool and trampoline are absolutely gold for children and adults alike. Inga, the friendly host, is very helpful and always ready to answer questions, even after an extensive tour. It is also nice to know that she is staying on the same property, only 25 meters away, which offers extra reassurance. Please note that (during the period we stayed here) there were a lot of mosquitoes and wasps. The house is of course located directly on the forest. This is good to know for future guests. All in all a great experience and a place I would definitely recommend for 2 adults with kids!

The house is a great place to spend a relaxing vacation with many friends or the extended family. The house is so big that you don't even notice that there are 12 people there. And when everyone does come together to eat, there is still room for everyone at the huge dining table. The furnishings are extremely stylish. I travel home inspired.

Sure – here's a suggestion for your Airbnb review: ⸻ We had a great stay at Birgit's! The house was perfect for our family – even our dog felt completely comfortable. The accommodation is lovingly furnished, superbly equipped – we felt right at home. We used the sauna every day. The only small downside: the distance to Gold for kitesurfing was a bit further than hoped - but everything else more than made up for it. Birgit was very warm, helpful and approachable at all times. We will be happy to come back!

“It really is a castle!” was the response of the travel companions. And that's for sure! Beautiful location, clean, lovely sturdy beds and very spacious (bath) rooms. Plenty of space to sit, play games or get a breath of fresh air outside. The kitchen is equipped with a wide range of crockery so that not every person can use a piece. What I personally liked is that each room has the option to open 1 or more windows. This keeps it wonderfully fresh on slightly warmer days. In the villages nearby, there is a supermarket and a number of restaurants. Enough offer to pick up your belongings on the spot. Check-in can be done digitally at your own time. Wonderful.
