Holiday rentals with a patio in Nishitama District, Tokyo

Convenient location, steps away from train stations. Space was clean and the hosts were quick to respond to our requests. Highly recommended!

Our small group of three couples enjoyed our stay. It was great that we each were able to have our own space, and the location is reasonably close to the metro station and right next to a convenience store, which was very handy. The apartments were clean and well maintained, and the washing machine was very much appreciated. The shower functions as a dryer using a heated fan system, which was something I had not encountered before, but worked well and was reasonably intuitive to figure out.

The place was located conveniently in Shibuya and close to many amenities within walking distance. It was easy to walk to the train station and get around. The bathroom took some getting used to (they are not set up like this in my home country) but works fine once you figure out how it works. The host was also helpful and provided guides on the place and local area!

Naomi was a great host from the beginning to the end. We were able to communicate with her at any time and her response was quick. She offered a comfortable, clean dwelling for us to stay and feel safe. When we traveled outside of Setegaya, our belonging were safe at her home. We appreciate her kind demeanor and would make this home a choice to revisit when coming back to Japan. Thanks Naomi for making our stay unforgettable.

Very good place and nice location. 15 min walking to train station and 10 min walking to subway. Total: 30 min to Shijunku and 50 min to shibuya. Everything clean.

Great facilities, views and overall the comfort of the place was great

Spacious, cosy & stylish. Enormous living room with beautiful long table and work/play room with board games. Bedrooms with large wardrobes, firm beds but pillows are low, host is kind enough to provide backups. It is on 2nd floor so prepare to climb a few steps. Entrance may be a bit tricky to locate at first, especially at night. Walkable to 7-11, drug store, public bath, supermarket & Jindaiji. Bus to Keio Chofu st. (to Shinjuku) or JR Mitaka or Kichijoji st. (to Tokyo & Akihabara), Inokashira Park & Ghibli Museum. Driving-wise it's next to Chofu IC of Chuo Expressway, so you can drive to Shinjuku in 30 mins w/o traffic. Plenty cooking utensils. Soundproof is wonderful - barely any noise from nearby highway, but could feel vibration sometimes. While it can cater 6+ pax, it has only 1 bathroom which may be inconvenient to larger party. Smooth & swift communication with hosts. Recommend to anyone wants to stay in bigger & well-kept house within reasonable distance from proper Tokyo.

Excellent spot in Shinjuku’s Korea-town, Shin Okubo. Short walk to Kabukicho and Golden Gai. Easy transport options to Shibuya and Harajuku. Just off a relatively busy street, but it’s still quiet at night. Right next to a Don Quijote too! Space is compact but roomy enough for seven people. Very clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable place, easy to find. Kota was a wonderful host. Responsive, have detailed instructions for locating and entering, and was quick to answer questions. Highly recommend for first time visitors or those focusing on central Tokyo.

Had a comfortable and nice time at Matrix’s place. The setting was cosy, clean and comfortable (though heating in living area could be improved). Matrix was very responsive and always ready to help. We enjoyed our stay a lot because the house is fully equipped. Very well stocked kitchen equipment (even has sake glasses), great entertainment system (projector screen with Netflix/youtube). Probably one of the best stays on this trip!

I stayed here with my colleagues this time. The place was really spacious, and everyone had their own space, so it never felt crowded. The house was very clean and comfortable to stay in. The host always made thoughtful arrangements, and communication was smooth. We felt very at ease throughout the stay. I’d definitely come back again if I get the chance!

Thank you for a lovely stay at your place.! Our two families enjoyed the house and location for our first trip to Japan. The photos accurately represent the multi-level house. Very clean. The multi-level house a good size to accommodate our group. It was nice to have amenities like the kitchenware, basement living room, washer/dryer, as well as massage chair after a full day of walking and exploring the city. The house is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood which is nice to unwind from the busy city. It is less than 10min walking distance to the train station, as well as 7-11 and Family Mart where we frequented for our breakfast, dinner, and snack items. Thank you for allowing us to gather as a family under 1 roof while in Japan!

This Airbnb is very clean and quiet. Close to a lot of restaurants and very short walk to the JR line. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again.

Our family of five had a fantastic time at EleVens Place! The space was perfect for us comfortable, stylish, and well-equipped for both relaxing and spending quality time together. The kids had a blast, and we loved how everything was thoughtfully set up to make our stay easy and enjoyable. We’d happily come back again!

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral mitten im Herzen von Shinjuku. Im Radius von 5 Gehminuten findet man mehrere Supermärkte und Restaurants. Der Hauptbahnhof von Shinjuku liegt 20 Gehminuten entfernt. Für europäische Verhältnisse wirkt die Wohnung gerade so ausreichend für 2 Personen und ich würde sie nur für 2-3 Tage in Betracht ziehen. Der größte Vorteil ist die Flexibilität der Lage und der schöne Ausblick vom Balkon. Man bekommt eine reale japanische Wohnerfahrung mitten in Tokyo. Der Gastgeber hat alles Nötige für die ersten Tage bereitgestellt (inkl. Snacks, Kaffee und Saft!) und war immer sofort erreichbar. Wir haben zufrieden ausgecheckt und würden die Unterkunft als erstes Ankunftsziel weiterempfehlen!

The stay was lovely and so clean! Very nice and quiet area, not too far from Shibuya. We arrived late into Tokyo and I booked it at the airport last minute - the instant book and self check in was so easy. Hong was so helpful and friendly and the response time was so fast!

This condo was the perfect way to end our trip to Japan. Everything was better than expected in a great area. Alice was very responsive and flexible when it came to our checkout and made the end of the trip as stress free as possible. Will be booking again for my next trip!

The accommodation is priced well for the location in Shinjuku and the size of the apartment. It was convenient and close to attractions, entertainment, stores, and the metro lines. The apartment is a little dated, but it works nice for the price and appears larger than the other similarly priced accommodations. Ro was very responsive and helpful as well.

The host was incredibly kind and responsive — when we realized the place wasn’t the right fit for our family, they graciously allowed us to shorten our stay without any issues. The unit was clean, spacious for Tokyo standards, and very close to Shinjuku Station, which made getting around easy. That said, the building and surrounding area weren’t quite what we expected. It’s near the red-light district, which may not bother everyone, but it didn’t feel right for us. The building is older, with worn common areas. We saw puddles in the hallway — possibly from the weather — and generators nearby added some noise. The elevator also showed its age. With a young child who has sensory needs, it felt a bit overstimulating — not because of the host, but due to the building and neighborhood. If you’re okay with a grittier, urban, high-adult traffic area and want access to Shinjuku nightlife and trains, it could work well.
