Family-friendly holiday rentals in Nishitama District, Tokyo

We had a great stay! The apartment is located in a convenient location, walkable from the nearest station and across the street from a small supermarket. The interior was clean and minimal. The host was communicative and we were able to drop off our luggage before the check-in time and check in earlier since the cleaners finished early.

Es el departamento excelente para estar unos días en Tokyo , muy cerca de estación de tren (5 min caminando) muchos servicios cercanos, lindo barrio y muy seguro. Departamento grande, limpio y cómodo.

Communication was excellent and the user was accommodating. The offer of a shuttle to and from the airport was good for the price, and would recommend especially if over purchased items as we did (bought extra suitcase). The location has a lot of groceries, and a 24h Don Quijoxe nearby (discount chain goods and grocery). Place was clean and spacious (rented entire house) and had multiple toilets and bedrooms, including a clothes washer machine that heat dries. I enjoyed my stay.

Awesome place in a great location, definitely would book again if we came back to Shinjuku, also they were very helpful setting up our return shuttle to the airport

Absolutely loved our stay at this traditional Japanese house. The space was clean, peaceful, and full of charm — tatami floors, shoji doors. Best of all, we were incredibly lucky to catch a clear view of Mount Fuji right from the backyard. Truly unforgettable. Would definitely stay again!

Nori-san's place is great, it has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The location is great, you'll be close to many shops and restaurants while also being close to the train station to explore more of Tokyo. Nori-san also provided good recommendations close by which was appreciated. No complaints, I would stay here again if I get the chance.

The host was very quick to respond. The location was perfect and quiet. Everything was close. I cant say enough good things.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour , l’hôte est très accueillant et recommande plein de petite choses à faire très proche du logement. Très bien placé , juste à côté d’une gare. Nakano bradway n’est qu’à 15min à pied. Le logement dispose de tout les équipements indiqué dans la description. Je recommande !

We were a party of 3 looking for an apartment with 2 separate bathrooms (toilets) which is hard to find when you only need 2 bedrooms. We needed privacy but still have a place to be together. This fit the bill exactly. The apartment is a detached house with 3 floors, in a quiet area a few minutes walk from Ikeburu station . The top and bottom floors have bedrooms and toilets while the middle floor has the kitchen, living/ dining area, shower and laundry. The stairs are steep, so that might be a problem for some people. The kitchen has all the basics, but we only needed it for our morning coffee, as there are lots of places to buy food and eat in the area. Unfortunately, there were only 2 coffee cups when we were there, which I understand has been remedied. The couches in the living/dining area were basic but not super comfy. All in all, it made a good base from which to see Tokyo. I would recommend this apartment to people who want both privacy and a communal area.

매우 좋은 숙소였습니다. 지히철역과도 가깝고 역 근처에 마트와 먹을 곳도 많아요. Sohei는 매우 친절하고 체크인시 상세히 설명해주었습니다. 유연한 체크인이 가능했고 특히 세탁기기 있는 것이 매우 유용했어요. 욕실도 너무 좋았어요. 개인적으로 먼지 알레르기가 있어서 청결도가 떨어지면 매우 힘든 편인데 sohei의 집은 겉보기엔 좀 낡아보이기도하지만 매우 청결한 것에 감사했습니다. 어린 아이들과 잘 머물다 갑니다. 감사합니다.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Nobu-san und Tatsuya-san Wohnung und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war super eingerichtet und zu Fuss ist Shibuya gemütlich innerhalb 15-20 Min. erreichbar. Die Kommunikation war ebenso fabelhaft. Yukari was more than a host, she is a friend. She is kind, friendly, helpful and very responsive. She picked us up at the station and also dropped us off when we departed. Japan is a great place to visit for its beauty, culture and especially the people. It’s our number one favorite country to come back again and again Thank you Yukari for allowing us to stay at your place and for being so nice to us

Satoshi is a fantastic host—very responsive and accommodating to all my questions. The entire process, from booking to check-in and check-out, was smooth and hassle-free. The property itself is cozy, sweet, and feels just like home. Satoshi thoughtfully provided everything we needed, including towels, bottled water, tea, and more. My daughter especially loved the lovely scent of the soaps and shampoos! The elevator was a great convenience, and the heater was a lifesaver during the colder moments. The location is perfect—just a short walk to Nishikawaguchi Station and close to several convenience stores. We also appreciated the nearby halal restaurants, which made things easier for us. We had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to coming back again!

かなり直前の予約になってしまったが、とても丁寧に対応してくれた。 バーベキューに必要な皿、網、炭など揃っており、気楽に訪れることが出来た。また、冷蔵庫などを土足で触れる位置だったのが助かった。 自分で沸かす露天風呂も時間はかかったが、とても素敵な体験ができた。家自体もとても良い雰囲気かつ、清潔だったので気持ちよく過ごすことが出来た。

Good place , near Haneda , on JY and JK Line by Chidorico train . Chieko was really Nice sadly I dont get Time to meet :( .

Yukio had a really nice place, and they are a very nice person to speak with. We had a small leak, but Yukio was able to get it fixed the next day. For tourists, keep in mind that trash will need to be separated.

We loved staying here. It’s a 2 min walk from Kita-in and Narita San, and 15 from Koedo old town and both train stations. There’s parking which was amazing for family stopping by. The front rooms get lots of sun and was warm in the winter. We LOVED the kotatsu! While it says it accommodates many guests, there was a lack of plates as well as kitchen items to accommodate like soup bowls. We were a family of 4 who ate in and cooked all meals so if you’re out mostly it shouldn’t be an issue. Beds are roll out single person size and good if you like hard beds.

This is a well located Airbnb, connected to public transport, quiet and good restaurants nearby. it had everything we needed for our stay. Thanks

Very cozy and unique space. If you’re a fan of creative architecture and don’t mind staying a little way outside the city this is a gem.

非常好的一次住宿体验，第一次来日本就有一个如此好的体验让我们非常开心。房东Naga非常热心，并且很热情的帮助我们告诉我们路线，还给房间内准备了很多生活必需品，住宿的地方很安静，离车站非常近，附近也很便利，各种店都有，非常开心的一次旅行！

Yuki was a great host and made all of us (4 adults and 2 kids) feel so welcome. I already knew and loved the neighborhood as it was close to Mt. Takao, Ukai Toriyama, Puroland, Trick Museum, etc. There were many great supermarkets and restaurants near the Takao station. The cafe downstairs, Cafe Toumai, was nicely decorated with beautiful paintings by a local artist and fascinating objects brought back by Yuki from all of her travels around the world and served delicious curry dishes! My 4 year-old twin granddaughters enjoyed the Villa's garden and got to see actual fireflies along the nearby river/park. We had a great time and will be back again.. Thank you so much Yuki!!

Loved our stay here! Kei and Aki’s place was our main “hub” during our stay in Tokyo. It was nice to get out of the city every evening and explore the neighborhood in the mornings. Family Mart and a drugstore are immediately and conveniently right across the street. Train ride is about 35 minutes into the downtown Tokyo area, but depends on where you are going. Walk to the train station is about 15 minutes. Not a ton of food in the immediate vicinity but lots of options at the train station and Uber Eats is available in a pinch. Received so many tips and recommendations from Aki. Would absolutely stay again!

Kenichi is such an amazing host and the Zen garden is one of the most beautiful homes we have stayed at. This is one of those places that feels like a real home not just an empty airbnb. Everything you will need is there to feel at home cooking, relaxing or hanging out with the family on the deck. We stayed with our 9 month old daughter and Kenichi went above and beyond setting up sleeping areas for her, baby blankets and toys. Then when our daughter got sick he even helped to contact a local doctor for us. The house itself is way better than the photos, huge space downstairs with tatami room, living room, kitchen with all amenities bathroom and your own in house wooden onsen. Upstairs has another living room and tatami room aswell. Super quick less than 5 min walk to Hoya station that has a supermarket and nice local shops. Hoya is a great local spot to feel the real Japanese life, while also being able to get to Shinjuku in 45 mins or so. Kichijoji is just a bus ride away too!
