Apartment holiday rentals in Nidwalden

We are a family of 6 with 1 elderly and 2 young kids (5, 8). We travelled mainly by car. The neighbourhood is peaceful and beautiful. Easy and short drive to grocery (Coop). Walkable to the train station. It is super near to Titlis which we love the place. There is a lift to the apartment, so we do not need to carry the heavy luggages up and down the stairs. The apartment is very clean, many beds, fresh linens, towels. And is a true lived in condition with everything available. The most impressive is the kitchen, fully equipped. There are fans in the apartment for the warm days too. Out of the windows and balcony, you can see the mountains, is soothing to just sit down and enjoy the view with a cup of coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, seriously without the lack of things. We would stay here again should we visit this part of Switzerland next time!

The supermarket is right across the road as well as a bakery. Very close to the bus stop to take you wherever you need. We liked that it was a smaller town with your own car park, we used public transport to get around, it was very easy. Spacious place and very comfortable. Super friendly and helpful hosts, highly recommended!

Die Unterkunft ist (fast) perfekt. Sehr sauber, gut gelegen und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Für Familien mit einem Auto auf jeden Fall ein Traum. Was uns gestört hat, war die Kirche direkt gegenüber. Die Glocken läuten jede 15 Minuten und ziemlich lange. Um 05:33 sind es mehr als 50 und man kann einfach nicht ruhig schlafen. Nichts wofür Gastgeber etwas machen können aber sollte man wissen falls vor hat lange auszuschlafen. Außerdem fehlten uns Salz und Pfeffer im der Küche (Villeicht nicht gefunden?!)

The Beckenreid home was a paradise- right from way before arriving, Corina was so amazing with her communication and help in any way. She picked me and dropped me , always checked to make sure I was safe. The little gestures- chocolates/ tea / coffee/ the flowers/ candles...all so heart warming. Her family too is the most beautiful and so friendly and always helpful The apartment, location surroundings lake and mountain views - Heaven on earth. I will definitely be coming back to stay at Corina's

The place was nice and it was roomy. The host and the family were friendly and welcoming. Everything was explained clearly and they were always open to answering any questions we had. The views were very pretty and the drive to the main city only took around 20 minutes. The house itself was also very clean and it had enough space for everyone to be comfortable in. I would definitely recommend this place. it is seriously worth it to come here and spend a couple days or months.

A very peaceful retreat! The property is situated in an extremely quiet and beautiful location, perfect for relaxation. Absolutely loved my stay here – would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for tranquility and natural beauty.The house is well equipped with all facilities.

Wunderbares, authentisches Chalet mit mehreren Sitzplätzen im Aussenbereich mit See- und Bergblick. Perfekt im Grünen gelegen, wunderbar ruhig und doch zentral. Das Chalet ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, richtig heimelig. Sehr bequeme Betten, gut eingerichtete Küche, schönes Bad - es gibt nix zu bemängeln. Sehr schön dass auch Hunde erlaubt sind. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in der Region. Wunderschöne Gegend eingebettet zwischen den Bergen und dem Vierwaldstättersee.

a very lovely house with right interiors. Situated right in front of the bus stop and near lucerne and engelberg. Bus connections time table operates with low frequency but the house can be approached from 2 stations- Stans and Stanstad both. Loved the stay. House is set up in a factory like complex but this con gets wiped off once you enter the house as it's loaded with amenities and we'll maintained.

Wir haben selten so eine tolle Kombi erlebt - eine wunderschöne, moderne und saubere Wohnung und dazu die perfekte Lage, ein atemberaubender Ausblick und das Ganze noch getoppt von einem äußerst herzlichen Kontakt zur Gastgeberin. Besser geht es nicht! Wer die Zentralschweiz erkunden möchte, dabei ruhig und gleichzeitig in alle Richtungen flexibel wohnen mag, ist hier genau richtig. Jederzeit würden wir wiederkommen, es war wie Zuhause🤍.

This apartment was the perfect hub for my hiking trip in Engelberg. The location was fantastic, making it easy to get to the trails each morning. The hosts were very communicative and friendly, with a super easy check-in process and getting back to me quickly on any questions I had before and during the stay. It was a comfortable and convenient place to come back to after a long day of hiking. Would love to stay here again!

Der Aufenthalt bei Astrid hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist super schön, sehr sauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Zudem ist sie super zentral gelegen mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick auf den See und die Berge. Astrid war stets erreichbar für uns und der ganze Check-in und Check-out waren extrem unkompliziert. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder!! :)

The place was wonderful and surroundings are peaceful. It's walkable from the Engelberg station. Andrina was very helpful throughout the duration of our stay.

Die Unterkunft können wir vorbehaltlos empfehlen. Der Ort Gersau ist sehr süß, am wunderschönen See gelegen, alle Menschen waren sehr freundlich, man kann dort einiges unternehmen. Lutzern ist in ca. 40 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet, die Terrasse lud zum Verweilen ein. Die Ausstattung war super, Spültücher, Spülmaschinentabs, Seife, ein paar Gewürze und Kaffeekapseln u.ä. waren vorhanden. Ein kostenloser Parkplatz ist dabei. Ein kleines Minus gibt es nur in Bezug auf die Anzahl der Teller, Gläser, etc. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt.

Das Appartement ist sehr gut gelegen für den Aufstieg Richtung Titlis. Die Unterkunft war sauber und es war alles notwendige vorhanden. Das Schlafsofa wurde wie angekündigt für unser Kind vorbereitet und das Bettmümpfeli war wie im Hotel vorhanden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Wohnung sehr genossen.

We are so glad that we were able to stay at Esther’s home - it was the best decision for our first time in Switzerland. The place and the view was absolutely stunning, super clean, quiet, and very relaxing - away from the noisy touristy accommodations. It felt like we were the only ones in the house. Transportation was readily available, too and helped us a lot plan out our itineraries. Most of all, the place was special because of Esther. She is such a phenomenal host! We learned a lot from her. She is such a happy, caring, and supportive host. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you so much , Esther!!

Marlise is so nice! She gave me 5FR directly when I said I had no coin for luggage deposit at the train station. She also helped me fill in the guest form since I forgot to do so. The house is located on a small hill. You need to climb around 15mins with your luggage to get there, that’s a bit exhausting. But the view is pretty nice, exactly the same as shown! You also need to bring your own shampoo and body wash.

Eine fantastische Unterkunft! Sehr schöne und ruhige Wohnung in top Lage. Die Einrichtung ist durchdacht, modern und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Zudem war die Wohnung makellos sauber. Ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

We felt right at home. We would really love to stay here again as the apartment was wonderful and the view outside is amazing. The only problem I felt is that at night there is very little lighting on the highway so to walk from station to the apartment is little bit risky post 9:30 p.m. But apart from this every aspect of our stay was exceptional. Thank you Silvia and Roland for your hospitality 🙏

Amazing spot to ski at Andermatt. We were there late season and got 16” of snow. Easy base camp to explore the area. Walk to the Gemsstock Lift, have some runs on the mountain, come down to the hot tub on the deck.

Prije svega, odličan i vrlo susretljiv domaćin. Riječima se ne može opisati sve što ovaj smještaj nudi. Smještaj nudi puno više nego što je na slikama prikazano, te je opremljen apsolutno svime što čovjeku može zatrebati. Najbolji smještaj do sada u kojemu smo odsjeli. Sigurno ćemo se vratiti :)

Dieter and Sylvia’s apartment is incredible, more beautiful than pictured, on an aquamarine lake with views of snowcapped peaks, farmhouse-dotted mountains, and windsurfers whipping around like dragon flies. We would have happily sat on the patio all day. Or better yet, on the stone steps with our feet in the lake! When time came to go indoors, each room was tasteful and comfortable, with big windows and phenomenal views. The kitchen is well designed, equipped with everything you need. And the apartment was spotlessly clean. There is a ton to do in the area and the town of Flüelen is relaxed and easy. We hope to come back to experience it in winter! Dieter and Sylvia were very generous with their attention, making sure our needs were met in the apartment and pointing us in the direction of special activities outside. Their kindness and hospitality made a big impression on us. This is a magical place. Hands down, our best AirBnB ever.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Nora war ausgeteichnet. Die Wohnung hält was sie auf den Bildern verspricht. Nora ist äusserst freundlich und hat uns vorab mit allen nötigen Informationen zur Wohnung und deren Benutzung ausgestattet. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe dekoriert, sodass man sich sofort wohl gefühlt hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
