Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Newport

we stayed at 'Sheiling' for 2 nights for my partners birthday and we were not disappointed!, this property is immaculate & very peaceful, the facilities at Sheiling are second to none, everything you could need for your stay is provided, even a bottle of prosecco 2 bottles of beer & milk were left for us which was greatly appreciated. There was excellent communication between us & Jane the host. We had such a relaxing time especially in the hot tub and our first night we were visited by a fox in the garden when we were in the hot tub which was a wonderful treat! we will definately be back!

Beautiful home with lots of small touches. Would definitely recommend.

We spent 2 weeks at Woodbank House and had the best time. The highlights are the kitchen and the grounds. The skies at night are amazing. Bess is a terrific host, perfect communication and so helpful. Thank you so much, I hope we get a chance to stay again! X

We had a very pleasant experience at the AirBnb. The accomodation was very clean and very well maintained. It was fully equipped with all the essentials which made it very comfortable. We were a family of two and the space was too big so it was very pleasing as the kids had ample space to play around and sleep comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked so we did not have to run around at the shops looking for essentials. The garden area was also very tidy. Overall i would give a 5 star to the property and the service. Jordan is one of the finest host and hence Welldone !!

I had a wonderful stay at Kemi’s place! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The neighborhood was peaceful and conveniently. Kemi was a fantastic host—very responsive, friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay here again in the future!

Cosy stay at Sam and Ta's place. Log fire was well thought out with all the gear to get a fire going quickly. Appreciated the little touches like bottle of wine on ice, semi skimmed and full fat milk in fridge and wide hot drink selection. Entertainment was great with large TV, Netflix and YouTube built in. Highly recommended for your getaway!

We spent a month in the house. Geraldine and Steve are very friendly and responsible landlords. They helped us a lot with garbage disposal. The room is consistent with the pictures, and the kitchen and bathroom are clean and tidy. The living room is large and the broadband speed meets the needs of the four of us. The parking space is also something we like. The almost unlimited space satisfies me, a novice driver with poor parking skills. In general, all of us are very satisfied with this stay.

The property was perfect for our stay. We only stayed one night but would have preferred if we stayed two. The location was peacefull with a lovely view. I'm sure there would be pretty walks from the property (sadly we didn't have time to investigate.) If we are back in the area we would definitely stay again and would recommend to others to stay here.

We wanted to visit the area and worked out that Newport was best for us. We were right! The position was perfect with the whole of the city centre close by. We were able to visit Tredegar House, Newport wetland area and Caerleon Roman remains by car and went to Cardiff on the train. The bonus here was the riverside views with the ever changing tides. We had great weather so could use the balcony both day and night. The flat was perfect for the two of us albeit with cafes and restaurants nearby we did not use the kitchen much. The unit was beautifully clean and everything seemed to work. Access arrangements were precisely described and easy to follow. Car parking is always a plus for city centre locations.

Really good stay with Pedro and Alina! They were really helpful with directions to the place as well as their instructions were clear and concise as to how to access the apartment. Walked in and the space was spotless and incredibly clean which was amazing. They were flexible with check in as it is an online process and were always available to message and would reply within a couple of minutes. Would highly recommend these guys as hosts and thankyou for having me!

Très bel appartement dans un quartier facile d’accès (gare de Redland à quelques minutes) et proche de la Gloucester Road. Abi nous a ouvert son univers avec énormément de gentillesse. Elle est très réactive et s’inquiète de notre bien-être. On y retournera avec grand plaisir!

Amazing place! Only 10 min to city centre by bus or £13 for uber so that’s pretty good! Plus really cute bungalow with everything what you might possibly need

The Pad is a wonderful place to stay in a really nice area. The apartment is immaculate and has a beautifully curated art deco interior. The space has everything you need, Jane really has thought of everything. We felt relaxed in the space; the gorgeous views from the balcony and visits from Mr Hopkins were an added bonus. We both said that we had never stayed in an AirBnB that was so good before. Jane knew it was our anniversary and very thoughtfully added some special extras. We will definitely be back when we return to Cardiff! Cardiff centre is easily accessible by public transport, or on foot (about 30 mins). The local area has a great selection of shops and restaurants, as well as a lovely park.

An absolutely stunning place to stay! Right in the middle of the South Wales countryside, beautiful views all around. The apartment is well set out and very clean. When first greeted, Mags is courteous and very kind, along with her two bundles of fluffy joy, it makes it a very welcoming experience. Will be booking again in the future to explore more of Wales as an avid motorcyclist! Thank you so much for having us! 🫶

It was such a lovely stay, we went for the lana del rey concert and it was the perfect location, so close to the centre so we could go round the shops and bars and was given some lovely recommendations, would definitely recommend :) X

I stayed at Eva’s lovely apartment for a few days during my time in Cardiff, and it truly made my stay feel richer and more comfortable. The flat was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully prepared with everything I needed. Communication with Eva was smooth and kind, and I appreciated her attention to detail throughout. I felt like I could live as a local, even if just for a short while. Thank you again, Eva, for offering such a beautiful and peaceful space. I would love to return someday.

We had a lovely stay at Holly's place! The room met our needs, had a beautiful garden and friendly animals. The shower was excellent and had everything we needed for our short stay.
