Cottage holiday rentals in Nerja

At Casa Lopez, we stayed for 1.5 months as 5 adults, a child, and a dog. Occasionally, we were up to 10 people, but space was never an issue. The villa is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and surroundings. The mountain road to the villa adds charm, and the place feels comfortable and safe—even accessible with a Fiat 500. The villa is more spacious than the photos suggest. Rafael, the host, showed us all the amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, and game room—all in perfect order. We also worked from the villa using the internet without any issues. The area is picturesque, close to beaches, mountains, and towns, with plenty to do. The hosts are very kind and helpful, even recommending a mechanic when needed. After 1.5 months, we still felt their warmth and friendliness. Leaving Casa Lopez was emotional for us. So, I recommend the villa for vacations, as well as a place where after work you can open some wine and jump into the pool. I wish everyone an equally wonderful stay.

El sitio es increíble si buscas desconectar. Tranquilo, bonito y con unas vistas espectaculares que invitan a relajarse. Los anfitriones son muy majos, siempre atentos y dispuestos a ayudar con cualquier cosa. Sin duda alguna volveré!

Carmen is heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze reageert heel snel op berichten. We kregen een warm welkom met een lekker fruitmandje en uitleg hoe alles werkt. Heerlijk huis om bij te komen en vakantie te vieren en dus zeker een aanrader. Enig minpuntje is slecht wegdek onderweg er naartoe en navigatie geeft eigenlijk andere locatie aan. De weg is denk ik beter begaanbaar met een terrein wagen of auto met 4 wiel aandrijving.

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

Casa Anna Maria was the perfect place for us providing peace, tranquility and the most beautiful scenery. The home has everything you could possibly need during your stay. The pictures don’t do it justice, it exceeded all our expectations.

Wir hatten ein traumhaftes Wochenende im Monte Naturivo! Die Unterkunft liegt inmitten wunderschöner Natur und ist der perfekte Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Alles war absolut sauber und sehr gepflegt – man merkt, wie viel Liebe hier in jedes Detail gesteckt wird. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom tollen Pool, dem entspannenden Hamam und dem wunderschönen Yoga-Raum – ideal zum Abschalten und Wohlfühlen. Die Gastgeberin war unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Monte Naturivo ist wirklich ein besonderer Ort, den wir jedem wärmstens empfehlen können.

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft "Las Lavaderas" von Angel war hervorragend. Durch die ruhige und private Atmosphäre haben wir uns bestens erholt. Ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen. Das Haus ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit Angel funktionierte perfekt, freundlich und stets zeitnah.

Super gezellig knus huisje, met geweldig terras! Het dorp heeft van alles, vooral vriendelijke mensen! Luca is een geweldige host, super goede service! Heel erg bedankt Luca!

We had a wonderful stay. The place was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The views were lovely, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor seating and BBQ area (only issue was that it was too windy to use the parasol so no shade). The nearby town was really beautiful and quaint too. Eyal and his family were fantastic hosts—warm, welcoming, and great to communicate with.

Ich war mit meiner 17 Jahre alten Hündin, zu Gast bei Rosa Maria. Es war für uns eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus ist zwar recht abgelegen, und ohne Auto schwer zu erreichen , aber wir haben die Ruhe und Idylle sehr genossen. Morgens beim Frühstück der schöne Blick auf das Meer , und am Abend bei einem Glas Rotwein unschlagbare Sonnenuntergänge. Für uns war es genau das Richtige 🤗 !

Casa muy acogedora. Entorno único y bien cuidado. Hemos disfrutado mucho en familia, sobre todo nuestro perro que pudo correr agusto por el jardín que está muy bien vallado y era seguro para el. La comunicación con Esther perfecta. Volveremos seguro!

Really lovely spot with amazing, large pool, that you can actually swim in, even with a group of eight, outdoor seating to relax and enjoy views. Our group appreciated all the separate bathrooms and cooking indoors and out and eating on the balcony. Host was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Malaga, Marbella, and Granada are all about an hour to an hour and a half away. El Torcal ( remarkable rock formations on a hike) is only 1 hour. Walkable little market for beer/wine. We came by car, so not sure about public transportation. Do be aware that there is no dishwasher, but the lovely unique dishes are great. Occasionally you hear neighboring dogs , but the road is quiet. I especially recommend going to Museo Etnológico de Riogordo a little local museum about Andalusian culture/ historical life it is a gem off the tourist beaten path. Enjoy! Wenn man kein Problem mit der teilweise abenteuerlichen Anfahrt hat - wird man mit einer traumhaften Lage mit herrlichem Ausblick belohnt. Ideal zum Abschalten und Entspannen. Selbst unsere Hunde waren begeistert. Inmitten der Natur kann man auf der tollen Terrasse von Sonnenauf- bis Untergang den Aufenthalt genießen und sich wohlfühlen. Es gibt alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Pablo ist ein toller und sehr hilfsbereiter Vermieter! Gerne wieder!

Rustig gelegen in de heuvels rond Alcoucin gaat de cottage van William en Simone schuil onder de geur van de bougainvillea en de schaduw van de omringende olijfbomen. Een ware oase op een uurtje rijden van de prachtige stad Malaga en het charmante Torre del Mar. De cottage biedt echt alles wat je nodig hebt. Snelle WiFi-verbinding, een mooie slaapkamer met prima bed, een ruime badkamer, een goed uitgerust keukentje en niet te vergeten, het fraai gelegen zwembad. Wij hebben er vier fijne dagen doorgebracht en komen zeker terug. Hans en Frankie

This place is incredible. I can't recommend it highly enough. Honestly one of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed at. The apartment itself was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is amazing. Just a few minutes drive from Pampaneira and other towns in the Alpujarra. The views from the apartment were stunning. We were in the mood to relax, so we spent a lot of time at the pool, which was just perfect. Fran was an amazing host. Communicated clearly and made sure we had everything we needed. He was also just a really cool guy. The driveway was a bit steep, which was hard for our small, manual rental car, but it ended up working out fine. I definitely plan to stay here again!

Lo único que he podido sacar es la ubicación, que por unos metros me llevo a otra casa mi GPS, y los caminos que hay por allí son muy estrechos para un coche convencional, quitando eso que solo quería espaciarme fue unas vacaciones muy buenas ya que la casa tenía de todo , se mostraron muy resolutivos cuando presentábamos algún problema o duda

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist supergemütlich und die Terrasse ist traumhaft. Wir hatten eine Hitzewelle, aber die Terrasse bietet genug Schatten, dass man sich sehr gut dort aufhalten kann. Das Haus ist ohnehin klimatisiert. Das Dorf ist wunderschön. Es gibt ein paar Bars und Restaurants,in denen man sehr gut essen kann. Die Menschen begegnen einem sehr freundlich. Man merkt, dass der Massentourismus noch keinen Einzug gehalten hat. So gewinnt man einen Eindruck von dem Leben der Einheimischen. Ein Strand ist auch in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Hat man Fragen ist Maria stets zu erreichen. Wie wir uns mit ihr dort gefühlt haben, ist in Worten schwer zu beschreiben. Sie ist ein wunderbarer und liebenswerter Mensch. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

What a fantastic place with amazing surroundings. We loved it so much. The incredible views, the lovely various cosy places to sit outside and chill at the pool or BBQ. Hiking up the mountain behind the house was a surprising lovely walk with a perfect 360 view on top. Amazing mango trees everywhere and lovely flowers all around. We just love this Andalusian hidden gem!

Marcos was and is a fantastic host and the property is situated beautifully if you prefer a quiet and secluded/private holiday. A car is a must if you want to venture out everyday but that’s what we like as a family holiday. The house has everything you need, the views are stunning and the privacy being at the top of the hill means you are not overlooked by neighbours at all. We will definitely come back here and look forward to the next stay.

Having just returned from a wonderful week away at Enrique’s villa with my partner and two teenage girls, I can honestly say we feel completely relaxed. We had the best time. The villa is so private with no traffic or people passing through. Beautiful views with tranquil and traditional surroundings, we found ourselves right at home. Enrique was wonderful and was always on hand answering our questions on things to do in the local area. The pool was amazing and a luxury to have it all to ourselves. We were able to cook some delicious food and enjoy it on the terrace whilst watching the sun go down. Cannot fault this quaint little villa and it had everything we could possibly need and more. Absolutely stunning place. We couldn’t ask for more in terms of being perched in the most amazing spot in the pueblo. Great views, very private but very close to areas with more life if that’s what you’re after some days. If you want to be surrounded by fruit trees in the hills whilst floating in a private pool, this place is for you! Definitely will be returning.
