Cottage holiday rentals in Namib Desert

Ronelle’s house offers you really a one of a kind stay. Never have we stayed in a house so remote and still feel at home. The surroundings are beautiful, if you like remoteness. The house offers all you might need (we only missed a washing machine, but that was not a big deal), and it is definitely a place to unwind or reload. Calvinia is not around the corner, but after a scenic 45 min drive you will find enough shops to refill for yet more days in tranquility. We definitely recommend Ronelle’s house and sure hope to come back in the nearby future.

It is a really nice place, modern and safe (two big lovely dogs inside the fence, won't bother you). I came with friends and we had a great time there. Although the isolation is not very good, we could feel the wind through the windows and doors but there is aircon in every room :)

We had a wonderful stay at Olyf Guesthouse! The cottage was cozy, beautifully designed, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub, and the outdoor space was peaceful and inviting. Communication was clear and timely, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality throughout our visit. Highly recommend for a quiet, comfortable stay in Bloemfontein!

Claudea's place was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The bed and linen was really wonderful and comfortable. The shower was also fabulous. It certainly provided all we needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. Being part of a busy service station provided opportunities to order in meals form the fast food restaurant. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend Claudea's place for people visiting Tsumeb.

This is a hidden gem within the Stormberg. It has all the amenities you can wish for as well as a beautiful view. The cottage is beautifully decorated with a large bathroom. Everything you need is there. Kim is definitely a superhost, communicating with us regularly before, during and after the visit and sent very good instructions to find the route to the cottage. We had milk, tea, coffee and lovely rusks waiting for us when we arrived. The cottage has a beautiful setting overlooking a dam and part of the mountain. We are not fishermen but enjoyed the scenery, the birding both on the farm and the adjacent farm roads. We spent a peaceful old (2021) and new year (2022) at the cottage with only the occasional bird checking in. This is definitely the place to go if you want to rest and enjoy nature. We took long walks on the farm but it definitely also has cycling possibilities. A place to add to your itinerary.

I had an incredible stay! The accommodation was amazing—beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable. It was fully equipped with everything I needed, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect, just a short walk or drive from everything, yet tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet. The space was spotless—super clean and well-maintained. Most importantly, the host was outstanding—warm, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. Highly recommend!

Great stay! The place was clean, quiet, and private — exactly what I needed. Conveniently close to a shopping mall, and the host was very friendly. All in all, a really good experience.

Carla was a fantastic host, clear check in instructions with helpful information about things to do and see. The house was a charming old space with a feast of art and books. The garden is a magical space and the outdoor shower is a must. The house is in the perfect location and walking distance to everything in the charming town.

Diane’s place in Nieu-Bethesda was fantastic! She’s a friendly host with a cosy, well-furnished home which had everything I needed. I loved the farm-style pool in the backyard and the fact that it’s pet-friendly. Breathtaking starry skies at night. Highly recommend!

we had an amazing stay what was supposed to be 1 night ended up being a 3 night stay . beautiful and tastefully decorated and fully equipped for all your needs. fireplace inside for the cooler nights really good kingsize bed and beautiful linen. if you feel like walking there is lots to explore on this fruitcake or you can just stay in with a good read .

Jowell was such a great host and the listing was just what we needed for our stay in Kimberley! With everything you need and more, as well as a great location close to shops and restaurants. We had a lovely time!

We love everything about the Dusty Vine and the wonderful town of Phillipolis. It has become a perfect stopover for us - wonderful to get off the N1. Thank you again, this heritage house is always perfect.

Debbie was a great host.that gave clear instructions. She upgraded our stay due to some storms in the area causing a power outage. Linen was soft and very cosy, even with it snowing outside. We had a lovely stay and will be back to explore Loxton properly.

Отличное жилье с красивыми видами, большая территория, днем можно прогуляться) Хороший дом, в котором все есть для готовки и для проживания) Очень отзывчивая хозяйка, все нам показала и рассказала, очень милые у нее собаки) Я рекомендую это жилье, чтобы остаться наедине с природой, вдали от шумного города)))
