Sehr schöner Ort, wunderbare Terrasse und leckeres Frühstück!

Beautiful place, exactly as described but also even prettier than in photos! The view is fantastic as expected. But what presently surprised us the most was the quality of the interior & build. The wood smells great, the little details are thoughtful, the appliances are good, and the tea & tea set is a nice touch. The public area with a full kitchen is a nice, too, eventho we didn’t use much of it as we love being in our room. The town itself is not very exciting, but it’s a close enough drive from the main bit of Alishan National Forest Park, which makes this place a great stay if you are looking for something nearby but not inside the park. There are some basic stores nearby for a quick meal, and many tea farms as well for walking trails and visits. We had the most relaxing stay in this place after a busy day in Alishan park, and we didn’t particularly need much other than relaxing - it was perfect for what we needed!

the natural surroundings were beautiful. u'll see sun rising from the back of mountain from deck. staff were friendly and helpful. rooms were well positioned to enjoy view from inside or from the decks. however, it was not too walkable as there were no clear safe walkways n u'll hv to walk along the winding mountain road. there are no shops nearby and u'll need to depend on the public bus (bus stop just at entrance) or private car.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Alishan Lauya Homestay. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The location was great as it was close to town where we could get dinner, taste local tea and coffee and just a 40min drive from Alishan National Park.

I had a great stay at this place, surrounded by so many cool tea plantations. The room is so nice, I didn’t mind not having a window at all. Wish I had more time on my trip to stay here for longer!

My friend and I spent one night at Elly's place. We were lucky to be able to book her place. After making the reservation, I did more research and found out that Elly's place is one of the most sought after bnbs in Taiwan. The room looks exactly like the photos. In addition to the private room, there is a common kitchen area for a larger group if they book the entire place with two rooms. We sat peacefully in the tea room to watch the changing mist, fog, sun, and rain in the mountain. We also went on a 2-hour hike along the hiking trails in the tea fields next to Elly's place. It's my first time visiting Alishan. We couldn't have a better experience staying at her place. I'd highly recommend it, and I look forward to staying there again when I come to Alishan in the future.

Die Wohnung ist außerhalb von Chiayi gelegen, dadurch ist man mit dem Auto schneller im Gebirge, als wenn man in der Stadt wohnen würde. Parkplätze gibt es auch zu später Stunde die Straße weiter runter noch. Das Haus ist ein Hochhaus mit Pförtner (flexibler Checkin) und Aufzug. Der Blick aufs Reservat ist toll! Weil nicht viel los war, hatten wir spontan ein kostenloses Upgrade bekommen (aufs 2A Zen Silence), dadurch kann ich zu dem spezifischen Zimmer, unter dem meine Bewertung landet, nichts sagen. Ich kann aber empfehlen, zu fragen, wie die Küche genau ausgestattet ist/wie viele Kochplatten es gibt, da hier nur wenige Fotos sind. Unsere Kitchenette war recht rudimentär. Wasserfilter war vorhanden, Spülmittel und Seife auch.

A pretty, peaceful spot with beautiful decks overlooking the mountains, but still close to restaurants, stores and activities. Staff was very helpful and responsive. The room was clean and nice. We enjoyed our stay!
