Family-friendly holiday rentals in Nada Ward

This place is exactly as all the other five-star reviews describe. The host is considerate, kind, and responsive. The space is quiet yet close to several major stations. The instruction manuals for the indoor equipment are clear and thorough. I can see how much care the host has put into ensuring our comfort through all the thoughtful details. We’ll definitely book here again if we visit Osaka in the future!

What an amazing place to stay! You step back in time. The house looks full of history and has a small garden and outdoor tub! Koji and Eri are great hosts, friendly, responsive and welcoming. They have a lot of recommendations about the area. Just keep in mind that there are steep steps to the second floor and also if you’re very tall there is a possibility of head bumping :) The area itself is very convenient and we walked to many places of interest. Can recommend this property to any adventurous traveler!

We really enjoyed sharing each others stories, she also made us feel right at home. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable. It was a wonderful experience in Osaka, and we hope to come back again next time!

Ohara allowed me to stay in his beautiful home and was a wonderful host. Very friendly and the home was very close to the station and multiple stores.

Great location! Nishiki market was a 2 minute walk. Family mart was just around the corner. Everything was close and convenient. We love the free refreshments and some nice gifts when we arrived. We love it so much we’re already planning my next trip. LOL

I had a fantastic experience staying at this property. The host provided fast and clear communication, especially with the check-in instructions, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It’s conveniently located near public transportation and convenience stores, which made getting around and grabbing essentials super easy. I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and overall hospitality.

Place is very spacious, very clean and good air conditioner. Very comfortable bedding. Shower is plenty big. If you are 6ft or over you’ll need to occasionally duck but tat all over Japan. It’s definitely not a problem. Way better than staying in a hotel as I could sneak downstairs as I am always up before my family and could get work done before activities. Cabs and Ubers go right by, 7-11 is baseball throw away and an excellent I Indian restaurant on the corner. If you have a kid who wants McDonald’s it’s right there too. You’ll have to take a cab or Uber unless you want to walk 20 minutes to things but as I said they are readily available and only cost $10. Highly recommend super spacious and I felt a much better option for us than a small hotel room. Also it had a good washer for clothes.

We had a very comfortable stay. The room was well-organized and located on the 9th floor, so we barely heard any noise from outside. However, on some nights, we could occasionally hear loud motorcycles. There’s a 7-Eleven right below the building, and it’s very close to shopping areas and lots of restaurants. Most importantly, it’s extremely convenient for those traveling by subway – the station is just a short walk away! The only downside for our family was that we rented a car, and parking fees in this central area can be quite high. The host was amazing – super responsive and very kind. Every time we messaged, we received a reply within 2 seconds!

We had a good stay. Mineral noise since it was in a residential area. Walkable to public transit and Nishiki Market. AC was very good. Washer and dryer worked well for small loads.

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood. Location gives fantastic access to the city through the Green Line (Karasuma). Easy to access from Kyoto Station shinkansen. Less than ten minute walk to the Aeon Mall. All facilities in working order. The washing machine is very useful in extending the usefulness of your carried clothing.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Cottage. The house was very clean and spacious. For us, the best part was the location. It truly felt like we were locals living in the community where Cozy Cottage is located. All of the staff were also very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time, and the stay definitely made our time in Kyoto extra special. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a bit of a slower pace in Kyoto.

Ok folks ...dont look any further ... We have stayed at many Airbnb's and this was the best ... in every way. From the great location, the amazing home with authentic decorations to the nicest hosts we have had the pleasure of meeting. 5 min walk to train or bus. 10 min from monkeys. bamboo forest and all the cool places in the area. Easy access to all of the other trains to everywhere else you want to visit. Such a lovely place to stay ... if we come back to Kyoto we would stay here again. Did I mention the best hosts ever? Really not joking about that. If this location is open and you are coming to Kyoto - just stay here.

I can’t say enough great things about Uzu’s place. It was so clean and comfortable. When we checked in she was very thorough about the house and also about the surrounding areas and places to go. She had a great hand drawn map of the area that we actually used a lot! The traditional beds we chose to sleep in were very comfortable. Everything in the house is labeled which makes it very easy to find things. Uzu went out of her way to show us local restaurants and spots to try. She is a very friendly host that cares about making her guests stays very enjoyable! One thing we found was that it was a bit out of the way of central Kyoto. However, if you want to experience a quiet traditional neighborhood this is the spot! It’s about a 10 min walk to the closest train station or bus stop. Das Ryokan ist wunderschön, typisch japanisch und passend für unsere Reise mit der großen Familie. Wir haben die schönen Schiebetüren, den typischen Boden, die großen Fenstertüren und ganz besonders den unglaublich wunderbaren japanischen Garten jeden Tag bewundert.

３度目の滞在です。寝具やタオルが清潔で気持ちよく、いつも満足度が高いです。なかなか予約が取れないお宿になってしまいましたが、また機会があれば利用したいです。

Natalie on hyvin vieraista huolehtiva, erittäin ystävällinen ja avulias. Oli mukava tavata Natalie ja välittyi tunne, että hän todella välitti siitä että viihdyimme mahdollisimman hyvin. Asunto on erittäin siisti ja esteettisesti sisustettu paikalliseen tyyliin, todella miellyttävä ja ihania yksityiskohtia sisustuksessa. 4-henkiselle perheelle tilaa oli mukavasti ja kaikille oli mukavat sängyt. Asunnosta löytyy tarpeellinen varustelu ja jopa kaksi modernia pyykinpesukonetta, muutenkin varustelu oli laadukasta. Lähin juna-asema on lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä ja asunnolta on helppo kulkea niin kävellen kuin julkisilla kulkuvälineillä. Vielä plussana rauhallisuus, alueella ei ole meteliä ja öisin oli aivan hiljaista. Viihdyimme 5 yötä ja tämä oli hyvä valinta, oli helppoa tehdä päiväretkiä Hiroshimaan ja Naraan ja eri puolille Kiotoa ja palata mukavaan asuntoon illaksi. Seiko’s place feels like a home. It’s pretty and quirky and cozy enough that every afternoon during our 5 night stay, my husband and I, along with our two teens, would head back to the apartment to put our feet up for an hour or so before heading back out. The shower has great pressure and plenty of hot water. The air conditioner works well and we were happy to have it for a summer visit in Kyoto. The location is great for getting around but also quiet. Things to note are that the bedrooms get bright in the morning and that the traditional beds may be uncomfortable if you like a soft bed.

Fusako‘s Wohnung war das Highlight meiner gesamten Japan-Reise. Ein riesiger Wohnbereich mit angeschlossener großer Küche, ein weiteres Wohnzimmer mit Balkon, ein japanisches Esszimmer und ein separates Schlafzimmer sowie ein geräumiges Badezimmer und ein getrenntes WC wären selbst für europäische Verhältnisse luxuriös: für Japan war die Wohnung sensationell. Darüber hinaus ist sie sehr zentral und zudem strategisch günstig am Rande des Gion-Viertels gelegen. Leise und lichtdurchflutet, mit flatscreens und AC in allen Zimmern und Annehmlichkeiten, wie einem eigenen Massage-Sessel lässt die Wohnung keinerlei Wünsche offen. Dazu kommt, dass Fusako die ideale Gastgeberin war: schnell und hilfreich in der Kommunikation, gleichzeitig diskret und mit Respekt für die Privatsphäre: einfach perfekt! Wenn ich wieder nach Japan komme, werde ich versuchen, Monate im Voraus zu buchen!

Great location close to the station with lots of food/drink within walking distance. A Lawson right around the corner. I was initially worried that the upstairs rooms would be hot, but the AC was fine. Fair warning, the stairs are definitely treacherous.

Such an amazing place and an amazing host! The house is very clean and near the train station. It also has a lot of things to do that are walkable distance as well. 10/10 recommend

Would definitely come back to stay if I ever visit Osaka again. Chad was very helpful and responsive and even though we had so many questions and requests, he would actively respond and tried his best with all that was asked. The area is very convenient with a lovely yummy yakitori right at the end of the street and supermarket and convenience stores all around the area. Thank you for such a wonderful stay for our family!

A beautiful place that is just 1 minute from Dotonbori River, and few minutes away from all the lovely food at Dotonbori, and wonderful shopping in Shinsaibashi. The location of the Airbnb is also only less than 10 mins away from Namba station, which is wonderful as a base to all the different train lines you need to get to various places in Osaka, or even Kyoto, Kobe and Nara. The apartment is located one street away from the busy Glico running man, so it is quiet for a good rest, yet close enough to all the actions for food and shopping. It is well equipped for cooking and has ample spaces for our luggage and more than enough bedding for a family of 4. I would certainly say, this is definitely the best place to stay in terms of amendities it provide, and the wonderful location. And Yoshi-san is helpful, responsive and you can say I will certainly be back here when I am in Osaka in the near future! So look no further, book with ease!!!
