House holiday rentals in Munising Township

Great place for a family. We came here in February so didn’t get to use the pool but the view was beautiful and the house was warm and cozy.

The place was great. We had a large group visiting for the weekend and the rental had plenty of room for all of us. And we loved the hot tub and pool table. Some things weren't quite functioning, like the downstairs shower and broken pool sticks - but didn't affect our stay. If you visit in the winter, I would only recommend bringing a car with all wheel drive. The parking is down a hill and we had quite a bit of difficulty getting out with our front wheel drive vehicles.

This was a great getaway! The indoor pool and sauna made this property so worth it. The house was neat and very unique! Highly recommend if you are looking for a getaway!

We had a great stay! Loved the hot tub after a long day either hiking or exploring downtown. Provided great recommendations of the area. The place was clean and spacious.

We had a wonderful time at Terilynn's home. The home is well kept and clean. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful. I wish my garden at home looked so good! Our hosts were very welcoming and informative, we enjoyed our interactions with them. We hope to visit the UP again soon and will definitely want to stay here again.

Our stay at John’s home in Munising was the perfect spot to explore Pictured Rocks. The host gave clear instructions to access the home and it was just a short drive into town. Our children loved having their own space upstairs. Everything was as pictured, clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was a small park across the street and we enjoyed pasties from Muldoons for dinner. Highly recommend this rental for families!

Kendra is the best airbnb host we’ve had, very helpful with instructions and quick to answer any questions we had, we loved the space and the cabin feeling it had, the views were great! it’s a very good location for snowmobiling, I also really liked how the cabin was decorated, thank you for hosting us!

This is an incredible place. Peaceful, with beautiful views of Lake Superior, and the feeling that you have a quiet space to yourself, but with plenty of restaurants, cafes and things to do within ten minutes. I hope to make it back here again!

Loved our stay here for a long weekend at Pictured Rocks! Great location and the place was stocked so thoughtfully with pots / pans / other things to come back and relax with dinner after a day outdoors! Would definitely recommend.

really cute place, super comfy beds, nice shower (water pressure was amazing), and fire pit was great. we had an awesome time. felt nice to be away from everything.

What a lovely, peaceful lakeside retreat! We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house was very clean and well appointed. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The views from outside and inside the home were amazing. Every morning was spent on the Adirondack chairs with a cup of coffee watching the sun rise on the lake. For the bird lovers, we saw a kingfisher, a bald eagle and a pileated woodpecker. For the hikers, it was a short drive to Pictured Rocks, Porcupine Mountains, and countless waterfalls. We were able to view the northern lights from Presque Isle, which is just a short distance from the house. Mark was a great host, and quick to provide any information we needed before and during the trip. We will definitely be back!

Overall, I give Bob and Linda’s lodge 5/5. It was exactly what I was looking for: an authentic off-grid UP experience. It’s clean and homey, and Bob and Linda are top notch hosts, going out of their way to make your stay a good one. If you’re looking for a great off-grid experience, this is it. However, it may not be for everyone. For example, we visited in October, and we had to heat the lodge through fireplaces as there is no central heating. I personally enjoyed that but can imagine others not wanting to deal with it. The lodge has an open concept floor plan, and I recommend guests consider sleeping arrangements carefully. While there are a ton of beds, there are few doors, and most sleeping areas don’t have one. So it may not be the best if you have people going to bed or waking up at different times.

Ashley was an amazing host. Very responsive. The home was absolutely beautiful and had a lot of amenities. We all walked around in awe of the entire house. Some things looked as if they had never been used. We had a large group (18 people and one infant). There was plenty of towels and dishes for everyone. We were given very clear instructions about check in and checkout along with where to find everything. They even had a pack and play, baby gate and high chair for my granddaughter. We were given suggestions of places to eat that were spot on. If I find myself back up in Munising I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for making our family trip even more wonderful!!

Brand new house near the golf course and only minutes from downtown. This is a great spot.

We had an AWESOME stay. The place was amazing, quiet and easy to find. The smart home features were a nice touch and the massage chair was great AND the I love the coffee bar!

Lynn’s place in Munising was a dream! perfect proximity to Mather Elementary where Ice Fest is headquartered. the best place we’ve gotten for the festival so far! the rooms were perfectly clean and Lynn was INCREDIBLY kind and responsive. easy checkout checklist. can’t wait to visit one of her places again!

Oh. My. God. This place! Jennifer’s family’s home is a gem, beautiful and private, cozy and spotless. But the real secret is the surrounding area, Marquette and the UP. We went hiking, canoeing, and horseback riding when it was sunny, and visited museums and very nice restaurants when it was not. The house is gracefully appointed, including the kitchen, and we were easily able to grill and cook for ourselves when we wanted to. I enjoyed climbing the stairs up to their rocky overlook, and sipping coffee, watching the sun climb over the lake. And also cuddling on the couch under a quilt, watching the patterns of rain sweeping across Lake Superior. The house and the lake are of different scales to be sure, but complement each other so well. This is a lovely and clearly loved home, and we are glad we could share it for a short time.
