Safe, cozy house in great location- now with WiFi!

Enjoy a safe, comfortable stay with great views of Mt. Kilimanjaro nearby! The fully furnished studio guesthouse is located on the same property as the host’s home so you can feel safe and be assured your questions will be answered promptly! The house is inside a gated property with guard dogs out at night. Cleaning is available on either Tues or Sat. and laundry for a small fee. We are located within walking distance from several restaurants, grocery stores, and easy access to get transport.

I had the most wonderful stay at Oliver’s! They are a super welcoming host who made me feel right at home :) They have a lot of knowledge about the local area and it’s customs so can guide you really well during your stay in Moshi. My mother and I stayed at Ole's place for a week to attend my son's graduation from UWCEA. The home was beautiful and a nice place to relax. The watchman met us to open the gate for us and the keybox was easy to use to access the house. On a clear day, you can sit on the back porch and enjoy views of Kilimanjaro in the late afternoon. Ole provides helpful tips on using the kitchen, and there are facilities for washing clothing as well. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a place in Shantytown who either has a private vehicle, is willing to use motorbikes for transport, or who doesn't mind walking to Lema Rd to look for a bajaji.

The home was very clean and roomy for 5 adults. The home is in a gated secure complex. Staff was very helpful in unloading the luggage and quickly solved the Wifi password issue. Wifi signal is weak and cut out frequently. Moshi is a very nice city with excellent food. Pleasantly surprised by all dishes and the pizza would rival any city. We visited the Kilimanjaro waterfall. A good 45 min hike. We would definitely recommend Jackline’s home.

The WiFi Network was strong with paid Netflix which made my stay comfortable and entertaining, i highly recommend. Doreen was amazing! She checked in with us before our arrival and was quick to respond when we had trouble finding the space. The place was exactly as pictured and perfect for a one-night stay. Our flight was delayed, and everything was closed by the time we arrived, so we were pleasantly surprised to find bread and eggs in the fridge—such a thoughtful and unexpected touch that made a big difference.
