Holiday rentals in Moroni

Fatuma nám pomáhala a radila už od našeho příletu, když nám Kenya Airways nepřivezl zavazadla. Dozvěděli se od ní mnoho o životě na ostrovech. Pomohla nám při pořízení místní SIM, při hledání půjčovny aut a při organizaci naší cesty i po ubytování v jejím domě. Ukázala nám hezké a originální šaty, které navrhuje a prodává ve svém boutique v Moroni. Zajímala se o náš osud i potom, co jsme už řadu dní byli na jiném místě. Dosud jsem u Airbnb s tak vstřícným a vřelým hostitelem, i když i u ostatních pobytů jsem byl spokojený. Bydleli jsme v prostorných místnostech s dostatkem prostorů na vlastní věci. Postele byly pohodlné. Ve vybavené kuchyni jsme si mohli připravovat tuňáky koupené od rybářů. Jídelna je součástí zahrady, pod střechou a zároveň venku. Za špatného počasí by bylo možné využít jako jídelnu i kuchyni. Nejbližší plážička je pokrytá odpadky, ale jen o něco dál jsou možnosti koupání v moři dobré. Základní potraviny jsou dostupné blízko domu.

Das Zimmer sah ähnlich aus wie auf den Bildern und das obwohl ich ein anderes Zimmer bekommen habe. Die Zimmeränderung kam aufgrund von Auswirkungen eines Cyclons zustande, der kurz vor meiner Ankunft wütete. Es gab kein warmes Wasser, wobei das Wasser, aufgrund der Temperaturen nicht sehr kalt war. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen waren soweit gut und vor allem das Hähnchen war köstlich, auch wenn die Portionen hätten größer sein können. Das Frühstück hat 5€ und das Abendessen 7/8€ gekostet. Die Schwester von Feyzlat und die anderen Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr Hilfsbereit und haben einem sehr gut geholfen. Obwohl keine der Mitarbeiterinnen Englisch konnte (was relativ üblig ist auf den Komoren), hat die Kommunikation durch Übersetzungsapps gut funktioniert. Die Unterkunft liegt entlang der Hauptstraße (von der man nichts gehört hat) zwischen Flughafen und Moroni, sodass man von dort mit dem geteilten Taxi überall gut hinkommt. Außerdem war der Meerblick beim Essen unbezahlbar.

We had a wonderful stay with this nice, welcome family. They helped us with tips in Moroni and even took us to a place to have dinner. The room is big and looks like in the photos. The mattress was not very comfy, and the bathroom could be improved a bit. It's not super easy to find but with a few instructions, it is, and then it's easy and quick to go to the city centre: many shared taxis, just 5-10 minutes. The neighbourhood is humble but safe and quiet. All in all, a nice stay. Maharaba!

l'hôtel est accueillant et réactif sur les messages. Le logement est spacieux a l'eau et l'électricité (évidemment quand le reseaux est actif). Le logement est sécurisé. près de la plage et a 30 min max du trou du profet a pieds. Des restaurants sont situés juste à côté.

Naima's place was the perfect place to stay before heading to Moheli. If I hadn't already booked a place upon return, I would have stayed with her for my entire time on Grand Comore. Her place is north of the city in Itsandra, but walkable to downtown or a quick, easy, and cheap taxi ride away. The beach is right by her place, and the neighborhood is safe and friendly. Her home is spacious and airy, the bedroom has a lock, screens on the windows, and a very good mosquito net. Naima's cooking is excellent, especially her homemade spicy pickled condiment and fresh juices. If you can arrange to have her cook for you, do so! She is also extremely helpful in providing information. Her English is limited, but she understands a lot, and we got along just fine. She even had a family member who spoke excellent English speak to me to be sure everything was okay. She met me at the airport with beautiful flowers as well, which was so kind. If (when!) I return, I will stay with Naima again :)

Great place to stay, near the Volo Volo Market. I needed a last minute place due to a flight cancelation, and this place worked out perfectly. I wasn't able to have any meals there, including breakfast, as I couldn't reserve far enough in advance. If you want meals, make sure to message Farida prior to arrival. There are also restaurants near by. The dogs are a bit scary in the evening. I love dogs, but I was bit on the street by a dog in a country a couple of years ago, so it was scary for me. As I was entering and leaving three times that evening (I forgot something in my room), on my final return, one of them nipped me. Nothing bad, but given my past experience, a bit unnerving. If you are leaving or entering in the evening, I suggest having someone meet you to help you with the dogs. I would suggest this rather than avoiding booking the place, because the home is lovely and Farida is very friendly and helpful.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la Villa Saifoudine. M. et Mme sont très accueillants et leurs recommandations sont au top. La maison est un petit coin de paradis (surtout la terrasse !). Le petit déjeuner couronne le tout (gros coup de cœur sur les petits chapeaux de verres). Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Agathe, Sacha et Mathilde
