What a wonderful home away from home for a long weekend! The house is part of two different worlds - one the rural Norway of the past and the other very much the present. Being on a working dairy farm also made us reflect on the sources of our food and how much we take for granted day-to-day. We enjoyed convenient access to kayaking, hiking, cruising the fjord by ferry to Geiranger, and cooking local foods in the well-appointed kitchen. Special thanks to Synnove for fresh home-baked bread and sending on our way with slices of cake for the journey.

We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

We've been going to Christian in Hitra for several years. The house is well equipped and has a great location overlooking the archipelago. The surroundings are great for walks, the nature is stunning. If you want to go out to sea, you can rent a motorboat from Christian. The boat is made of aluminum and has a 130 HP outboard, which makes it possible to get to where you want to go quickly. If we have a question or problem, Christian always responds extremely quickly and helps us immediately. We felt very comfortable here so far and certainly weren't here the last time...

Had a lovely stay at this cabin! Beautiful location with so stunning views all around. The cabin was clean and cozy, everything was as described. A lovely warm shower after a rainy day was perfect! Friendly and fast replies from the host Anita. Highly recommend!

This place is really special!!!! We had a pair of Eagles that we could see every morning and evening from the living room and deck. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to escape and relax!

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

Very nice cabin with good access to the ski lift. We've been here before and would love to come back!

If you look for something relaxing and comfortable this is the place to be! The house is a wonderful architectural treasure! It is super well equipped and the area is fantastic! Elin was super nice and the contact was totally easy! We hope to come back one day! A wonderful find! This was a perfect stop on our roadtrip, to rest up. Roar made it very easy for us to find it by giving us precise directions. Our host was away during our stay but made us feel completely at home. Thank you Roar! Spacious dining/living areas, brightly lit up with a lot of natural light, and with a view. A well provisioned kitchen. Comfortable beds. Very clean and tidy all around.

A double booking had occurred, so we got a price reduction and alternative housing. It was resolved smoothly and well for us, with good information. Very nice, flexible and helpful host, busy making things easy for us. I will gladly return, and gladly recommend to others to rent from this host😊

We enjoyed our stay at Kveldeheim very much. The location is just amazing, we particularly enjoyed watching the sunsets from the rocks behind the house. Our boys had a lot of fun exploring the tidepools, catching crabs and the occasional fish, and going for boat rides along the shore. Hedda and Jørgen were very helpful and gave us a lot of tips on activities. We would love to come back someday!

We loved staying here! The house was the perfect size and so cozy. The view was amazing and the proximity to hikes and Runde island to see the puffins were perfect. Check in was easy and the host is very responsive and helpful. It had everything you needed and felt like being at home, If home was overlooking a fjord and mountains! Would definitely stay here again I absolutely loved it!

Great view, on a farm with chickens, sheeps, cats and a rooster! Great base for hiking and climbing. It is their home so fully equipped.

Everything was great, and we'd definitely stay there again. We stayed there for three nights. It's pretty spacious, with three separate bedrooms, and the host was always on hand and responsive. The cabin was clean, close to the road, had a charging station for the car, and a really nice jacuzzi with an awesome view—don't miss this one. You can also enjoy fishing and hiking at nearby spots.

We spent a beautiful 8 days at Lars' in the fjord. Everything was great. Suitable for fishermen, lovers of excursions and for relaxation. We will be happy to come back here! ❤️

Me and my family (a group of 10 adults and 2 kids) stayed at Fjordview Apartment for one week and we had a wonderful vacation! Victoria and her dad were very nice and friendly, they were also really helpful and organized everything we needed. Despite some misunderstanding we had about some of the things that were included in the price, all in all we had a great experience. The view is beautiful and the flat is well equipped, would recommend it to anyone!

Beautiful location and nice and helpfull hosts! Family friendly with all the amenities you need to have a comfortable stay. We rented the smalest appartment, but it was definitly more than enough space for all 4 of us. I highly recommend this place, 10/10 in my book! Thanks for a great stay 😊
