Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Monthou-sur-Cher

We had a very nice stay with friends. The region is beautiful, with many castles nearby. The apartment was very nice and comfortable. Thank you to our host who welcomed us very well and has a very extensive knowledge of the remarkable sites and activities to do in the area!

We spent a 3-day weekend (6 adults and 3 children). Everything was perfect, the welcome on our arrival, the accommodation very clean, comfortable bedding, space. Nothing is missing. Very well located for visiting the Beauval zoo and the Chenonceau castle. I highly recommend this listing !

It was a great stay in Le petite maison. Beautiful nature, beautiful swimming pool and a huge garden. Really enjoy; here you can completely relax.

The place is absolutely stunning - super spacious, stylish, has everything one may need on vacation and even more. The terrace is a jem - we enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace. The area is very serene and quiet. And Celine is an amazing host, extremely helpful and responsive. Definitely would recommend and would dream of returning again!

Everything was as expected. Stayed there with a second couple. Quiet, clean and convenient if you want to visit the loire chateaux’s.

Just a brief stop for us en route to the Uk. I’d highly recommend staying here. The cottage is beautifully presented and the little extras have all been thought about such as coffee / tea / kitchen roll / hand soap / loo roll etc etc. The hosts clearly care and the place is stylish and comfortable. well situated apartment with view to the loire. parking in a lockup garage very safe and convenient. a bright safe clean apartment with a bit of character and charm. Convenient to shops restaurants a small supermarket and the chateau and gardens. Host very helpful. Will stay again.

Jean Philippe was wonderful. He met us and showed us the apartment and explained how to use all the items. The apartment is very quiet and is in a beautiful courtyard. The coffee machine gave us the best coffee so far on our trip. I really appreciate that Jean Philippe supplied us with lots of coffee. These little details make a huge difference. We loved the location. The bed and the bath were very nice, we really enjoyed our stay.

Philippe responded quickly to my questions before we arrived, gave clear instructions and his place was easy to find. The private parking and laundry facilities were much appreciated and the garden setting was lovely. He and his wife were usually around to make sure everything was working for us and he made a reservation for us at a recommended local restaurant, which was a great experience. It was very hot while we were there for the walk into town across the bridge, but there is a local bus, with the stop right near the apartment. We stayed for a week and found Amboise to be a good base for visiting this part of the Loire Valley. We would certainly recommend Philippe's place and would stay there again ourselves if we were ever back in the area.

Very nice apartment ideally located for those who like the old quarter of Tours and all its shops, bars and restaurants. Difficult access by car (pedestrian access) and complicated parking because of the historic center of Tours, but I think this accommodation also offers a parking space which is ideal. In short, a very nice location and impeccable, atypical and very pleasant accommodation

You can't find a better service that perfectly matches the description on the site. The humility of our hosts in relation to their "novitiate" in AirB&B and their desire to receive any criticism or proposal for improvement are very commendable. But as it is specified in many opinions published before mine, Jean-Noël and Cathy are already at the top. Also, any improvements will be minor details compared to the general situation. Thanks again to them for the pleasant stay we had at their place.

We just returned from our stay in Blois and we were very satisfied with the residence. The location is amazing and the house was a great value compared to others we researched. We ate lovely meals there with food from the local shops and enjoyed the view. There are a few caveats to share that didn't negatively impact our stay, but should be shared for clarity. There are two toilettes in the house on two different level and they are shared by all guests. There are in-room bathing and sinks in each bedroom, but only one room has a stand up shower. The other two are designed to combine with a bath. There is another shower on the main level, but it is not as convenient as having it in-room. There is also no realistic parking on site and the center town is crowded. We used the paid parking that is very close and convenient, but was an extra 15 euro per day. Lastly, it is good to know this is an old building with neighbors, so there is some noise. Our co-host was also fantastic. Merci!

Very pleasant setting! We enjoyed 5 days of castle visits. The mini castle park near Amboise enchanted us! The rental is close to many sites and the comfort is very pleasant.

The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. Attentive, friendly and considerate host. Easy communication and necessary recommendations. Convenient location in relation to the bus station (4 minutes' walk) and railway station (12 minutes' walk). Convenient location in relation to the shopping centers Intermache (10 minutes' walk) and Les Atlantes (15 minutes' walk). We will gladly return and recommend it to everyone.
