Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Montezuma County

THIS IS THE HOUSE YOU WANT IN DURANGO. Our family absolutely loved this house. Host left us a generous welcome basket, which was wonderful to receive after driving all day to get to our destination. We loved that it was private, yet an easy 15 min drive to downtown Durango. Kids loved seeing the many animals around the property - marmots, chipmunks, deer. We hiked the trail behind the home and enjoyed the hot tub every night. It was rainy for most of the week we visited, so we were glad we chose a big house with plenty of space, good TV options and games/puzzles on site. Kitchen was the most-well-stocked we’ve ever experienced in an Airbnb and we loved that. All the tools you need to cook from scratch, plus condiments. Finally, a host who isn’t stingy with the dishwasher pods and extra TP! All showers worked well. Washer/dryer worked well. They let you use the garage! We will definitely be back. If this house were to go on the market we’d be interested. That’s how much we loved it.

Franny's Haven was a perfect place for my family to stay while we were in Cortez! The home was clean, comfortable, and filled with amenities for adults and children. We will definitely look to book again the next time we are in town.

Lovely home enjoyed every aspect of it. The kitchen very well stocked plenty of linens extra blankets fans in every room. The TVs were amazing. I would suggest it to anyone who didn't mind a little bit of a drive but that gave us the privacy and was excellent.

Thanks for a great place to stay, again, for us and our pups!!! The weather was perfect this past weekend, and our pups totally loved the yard, as usual. Loved everything in the house!!! Always warm and welcoming and always have everything we need!! We had a few struggles with the TV Spectrum remote, but finally managed just fine. Thanks again!!!!

The Salt of the Earth Ranch is great. Chelsea was a fantastic host and the home has wonderful views. We were doing a family guys trip to the area and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. As outdoorsmen, the wildlife you could see from the back porch was pretty great. From mule deer, to prairie dogs, and even jack rabbits hopping around the yard, it was really great to go along with the mountain views. I would highly recommend if in the Durango area and looking for a place a little off the beaten path.

The Airbnb was clean and comfortable. Communication was excellent and extras left for us to use were much appreciated! Thank you for hosting and making our family vacation memorable! We enjoyed our stay! The coffee, hot cocoa, oatmeal was perfect!

This place was so lovely, quiet and beautiful. We spent so much time on the deck looking down into Cortez. It had all the amenities described and that one would need. It has a lot of nice touches (art pieces…nod to Julia there) that make it very welcoming. We stayed for several days and very much enjoyed it. Julia and her husband were so kind and responsive. They went above and beyond. They provided support for us as well when we ran into an unfortunate experience of a car breakdown. It was not expected of them as hosts but they helped make a tricky situation for us much more manageable!

We stayed at this beautiful home in Hesperus, Colorado for a family reunion, and it was absolutely perfect. The place was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views added so much to our stay. Our entire family felt comfortable and right at home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway! The host, Connie was great with communication which made our stay a breeze.

Beautiful working sheep and cattle ranch. Views are spectacular. The inside as fantastic with antiques, two beds, nice carpeting and ranch feel. Dogs and horse are so friendly and hosts were so gracious. Close to Crow Canyon Archaeological Center and Mountain Ute Casino . Cortez has great restaurants and friendly atmosphere with Farmers Market and interesting stores. Makes for a wonderful trip in beautiful Southwest Colorado.

Michelle has a great place! The surroundings of Cortez were beautiful. She is close in to town and a nice drive to Mesa Verde NP. Our place was quiet and comfortable! Would stay here again!

JanElle's suite was as described. It was cozy and clean. It felt like you were in the middle of nowhere but were really just a short drive to the quaint town of Dolores or Cortez. Take a moment to step outside and view the stars. Beautiful!

This was the one of the best, if not the best, AirBNB we have stayed at. The cabin was perfect for my wife and me. It was very clean, probably top on our list, and we felt comfortable immediately. The amenities are fantastic: examples include fully stocked kitchen, coffee, laundry facilities, TV services,and others we did not use but others might (grills, fire pit with provided firewood, books/games, etc.). The setting is rural, quiet, and stunningly beautiful. Do not miss the sunsets right out the back door or relaxing at one of the provided seats/tables outside. We spent 3 nights and could easily have been comfortable for a week+ there. If we are in the area again, we will 100% try to stay here, and we will recommend to family/friends traveling here.

We loved our stay at the Ranch. The place had everything we needed and more. Plenty of space and room to spread out. It was clean, nicely decorated and liked just like the photos. We had a group of 12 adults there to meet for a mediation and sacred site week. It was perfect. There are great places close by too to hike, eat and relax. Beautiful views and outdoor space too. My husband, me and my three children truly enjoyed our stay! We tried to go to Dolores twice a year and more excited to know that we found a new place for the family to stay everything about. It is absolutely perfect we just wish we could bring our dogs 🖤 It was easy access the river was beautiful, cozy outdoor firepit ! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking! The house was well stocked of anything that we needed that we may have forgotten and the host was extremely easy to contact when needed. We notice some flyers for the ranch next-door and was able to enjoy an afternoon of horseback riding one minute from the home!! The next day, we went ouray our favorite place ! Next time we’ll be sure to make a stop and Telluride again! Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to our family we are so grateful!!! 🖤 the Anderson family !!!

This is a very rustic gem away from everything, I absolutely loved how peaceful and quiet it was and I’ve never seen so many stars at night in my life! Elena was incredibly friendly and the hospitality was phenomenal!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Anne’s cabin! The cabin is so cozy with a beautiful view from the deck. We enjoyed the wildlife and the chickens roaming the property. The cabin was well-equipped and the location was perfect for exploring around the area. Cabin was exactly as described. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

One-derful location, very private. The home was impeccably kept, especially the kitchen. The Host said the kitchen was stocked for cooking and she was correct! The Host was very attentive and truly desired our stay to be stress free. If you are looking to be "off the grid" this is the home for you.
