House holiday rentals in Monemvasia

We were quite late in the evening arriving and was warmly welcomed. Watermelon, peaches, wine, bottled water, treats and more awaited us. The place was so homey, we felt right at home. There is not one thing I can say negative about this property. The outside area is simply gorgeous and the pool was taken care of daily. Response to issues, my own fault, was immediate and so appreciated as first I locked myself out and then I didn’t know how to use the oven. :) It was taken care of in literally minutes. The bed was so comfortable as was the couch in the living room. A delicious bottle of wine from their lemon tree in the yard was given to us on departure, as well as an offer to check out later if needed. Do not hesitate to stay here, it truly is all it claims to be. We hope to be back some day.

Everything about our stay at Michael's place was nice! The place itself is lovely and matched the description. As a family of 4, we had a comfortable stay and each member could enjoy different parts of the house without being "in the way". High ceilings, spacious rooms, fully equiped and with a "feel at home" vibe at first glance. Extra bonus was Michael himself, who undoubtedly was a great host! Friendly, accessible, gave us insight and great recommendations, was flexible with check in and with clear instructions. He also hosted a farewell party which will be fondly remembered by us as a highlight, with good food and great company! Michael we hope to come back one day! Thank you !

Staying on the island of Monemvasia was such a unique experience. It is not everyday that you have the opportunity to stay in a house with such history. It was perfectly located and you can walk to the restaurants and cafes and of course the incredible ruins in upper Monemvasia. We had a bit of unlucky weather and some very strong winds but still had a wonderful time. You have to be a bit comfortable with nature as this year we had quite a lot of bugs enter the house. However the uniqueness of the the castle fortress should not be missed and I would very much recommend staying for a few days. George was extremely responsive and kind in communicating with us.

Just awesome. Exceeded my expectations. Alexis's was a great host. Promptly replies to all my messages. The home is very meticulously done. The view from the balcony is just breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. It's quite and private. Alexis came to welcome us and provided us with wine. Being a Sunday, the grocery store was closed but Alexis was kind enough to stock up with milk, eggs, water.

Siamo stati benissimo a Christina's house, alloggio situato a 5 minuti dal lungomare in zona tranquilla, abbiamo apprezzato molto il necessario per la colazione con la torta fatta in casa e le molte bottiglie in frigo. Christina è stata sollecita e rapida nelle comunicazioni, alloggio consigliatissimo!

Sehr schönes Zimmer, tolle Aussicht, Strände etc waren mit Auto schnell zu erreichen und Iliana war eine super freundliche Gastgeberin und immer zu erreichen

Spectacular! Exactly as described. Very clean. Heating works fantastically! Comfortable bed. Great facilities for cooking. Absolutely gorgeous location and very quiet. Would 100% recommend.

Ein sehr schönes Haus an einem ganz und gar ruhigen Fleckchen Erde. Wir haben uns sehr ruhig gefühlt und die Ruhe, die nette Nachbarschaft, die Dachterrasse zum Sterneschauen etc. sehr genossen. Port Gerakas ist ein zauberhaftes kleines Dorf, aber auch ziemlich ab vom Schuss. Darauf sollte man sich einstellen.

La location est située au RDC d'une maison dont la partie supérieure est occupée par les propriétaires. L'appartement est spacieux et est équipé du nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. Les nuits sont silencieuses. Il y a une petite terrasse devant depuis laquelle on aperçoit la mer. On peut se garer dans la cour. Rozas et son mari sont très accueillants et généreux en produits locaux ainsi qu'en bons conseils. C'est un plaisir d'échanger avec eux et ainsi d'en savoir plus sur la Grèce. On est à Monemvassia en 10 minutes en voiture par une route agréable qui longe le bord de mer. Ce logement d'un bon rapport qualité-prix est une bonne solution pour visiter la région. Allez-y, vous passerez un bon moment !

Auf unserer Peloponnes Rundreise haben wir gemeinsam mit unseren Söhnen (11 und 13 Jahre) vier wunderbare Tage im Beach House verbracht. Stephanie hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Während unseres Aufenthaltes war sie immer erreichbar und hat uns mit Restaurant Tipps versorgt. Das Haus ist besser als jedes Foto es zeigen kann: Unglaublich gemütlich eingerichtet, man fühlt sich von der ersten Minute an wohl. Direkt vom Haus aus kann man ins Meer. Das Wasser ist kristallklar und man kann toll schnorcheln. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, man merkt, dass der Hausherr gerne kocht. Den ganzen Tag über findet man ein schattiges Plätzchen am Haus und die leichte Meeresbrise hat die bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr heißen Temperaturen angenehm erträglich gemacht. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und bedanken uns bei Dominique und Stephanie!

Appartement très bien placé (proche du super marché et à distance de marché de Monemvassia) disposant d'une place de parking très pratique. Convient pour 3 personnes. Communication avec Sofia très facile. Cela compense les quelques désagréments : appartement sombre, un peu petit et un peu "viellot". Je louerai à nouveau sans problème.

Amazing property, very modern, spacious and clean in a lovely small village that’s in close proximity to various beaches. Very easy to deal with hosts. If we return to this part of Peloponnese, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Non riesco ad immaginare sistemazione migliore per visitare questa parte di Peloponneso, la casa di Elika è un piccolo gioiello. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa, la terrazza con vista sul mare ci ha permesso di goderci numerosi momenti di relax immersi nella tranquillità e nella bellezza del paesaggio circostante. La casa è davvero accogliente e dotata di ogni confort, non manca nulla. Il paese di Elika è delizioso un angolo di Grecia autentica, da qui si raggiungono facilmente molti luoghi d’interesse. Host gentile e sollecito nel rispondere alle richieste. Torneremo senz’altro!

Το κύριο ζητούμενο μας ήταν η ησυχία και ένας ιδιωτικός χώρος για να ξεκουραστούμε και να έχει άνεση και εξωτερικό χώρο για τον σκύλο μας και το συγκεκριμένο σπίτι μας τα προσέφερε αυτά! Πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο του Γυθείου και το παραλιακό κομμάτι με ότι χρειαζόμασταν προσβάσιμο στα 5 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο!

Maria was very helpful and responsive. It is great place, on a great location. Monemvasia is a beautiful, can't wait to go back. I highly recommend this place.

This is a beautiful place to stay! It was so quiet and serene in the middle of the orchards, plenty of space in both bedrooms and kitchen. Mapia had juice, bottled water, cake, bread, oranges and figs for us upon our arrival. Everything worked well. Ac units and fans were great, we loved exploring the pennisula, we had a fabulous stay. More than a 5 star stay
