What a great stay! Nelson made sure we had everything we needed, every question was answered and resolved. We loved all the great amenities of the house and felt right at home. Jean’s place on lake Atitlan is just beautiful. So green, and the birdsong in the morning is wonderful. Lovely views of the volcanos from the roof and down by the lake. We really enjoyed the paddle boarding and kayak. Even in the rainy season it was beautiful in the mornings and we hailed a lancha from jean’s dock, so very convenient. (Walkable or Tuktuk-able to San Marcos or tzununa). Just a lovely time and so nice to meet Jean and Joaquin who was very helpful!

Perhaps one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. 10/10 would recommend - by far one of the most beautiful spots in all of Lake Atitlan. Thank you!!

Great place to stay lots to do and close to the pier. 10 min walk and lots of restaurants/places to buy snacks.

La casa es muy acogedora, rodeada de naturaleza y cercana al muelle principal de Santa Catarina con vista a los 3 volcanes. La cocina está muy bien equipada, al igual que las habitaciones. Excelente atención y amabilidad por parte de Juan, quien nos recibió, llevó nuestras maletas y nos brindó muy buenas recomendaciones.

Absolutely amazing property! The walk from the gate to the house was a beautiful surprise. The third floors had AMAZING views of the lake and mountains. Waking up to the sounds of the birds was a dream. PJ was very understanding to our situation and offered a playpen for the babies. The stay was wonderful. Thank you so much!

Beautiful view of the lake and volcanos! A bit of a hike but so worth it. The pool and hammocks were great my kids enjoyed themselves everyday of our stay here. Diego and Claudia were more than helpful and responded quickly to any questions.

We loved staying at Nicolas’ home! It was so peaceful and beautiful. The views are amazing and loved waking up to a beautiful view in the morning. Although our trip was short, we enlisted every minute of it! The location is a bit far from the lively cities but the boat rides are pretty consistent so getting around was not difficult at all. Not to mention Nicola’s had recommended to us the best way of transportation around cities so that was help for sure.

Where can I start! I’ve have travel to over 18 countries and let me just say this has to be one of the best properties I ever stayed in. The staff is really friendly attentive! Since the moment I arrived at the lake I was very impressed but once I got to the airbnb I was left speechless. Once I arrived Miguel was outside waiting for me to take my bags. He gave me all the information I needed the house and the pueblito including a tuk tuk driver which was amazing and every time I wrote him he would pick us up in no time. Now, the house… where can I begin ? This property is definitely one of my favorite ones I stayed in. The house looks super modern yet it goes with the vibe of the lake. All the windows that it has made it even more magical. Seeing the volcanoe from my bed at night and morning is something I will never forget. The sound of the nature in the morning was one of my favorite parts. Overall I highly recommend this property to anyone interested is totally worth it.

El lugar es precioso, muy tranquilo ideal para desconectarse del día a día, la cabaña es muy bonita, cómoda, Lorena cuida cada detalle dentro de ella así que la misma es muy completa cuenta con todo lo necesario para estar cómodos , no dudaría en recomendar el lugar y seguramente regresaría 100 puntos

El alojamiento fue tal y como se describe: muy bien equipado, limpio y cómodo. La ubicación es tranquila y segura, ideal para descansar. Los anfitriones fueron muy atentos en todo momento. Lo recomiendo!

Amazingly peaceful cottage on the edge of Santa Cruz. The view of the lake and volcanos will from the deck each morning will forever be solidified in my memory. The home is simple, clean, and charming. I hope to return someday.

Casa Antonio is beautiful 🤩 The views are stunning, and it’s just like the pictures, and even bigger. Beautiful touches of fresh flowers, and one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve seen in an air bnb. There are lots of little tienditas within walking distance and it is only a 10 minute walk into town (taking the stairs). It’s about 15 minutes to get back, but it is a work out! Which I enjoyed! Although, the tuk tuks are easy to find to take you up. I spent all my time in the outdoor area, enjoying the views, nature, and watching the rain come in. I work remotely and had no issues with the internet asides from one power outage that was valley wide and out of anyone’s hands. Loved the place so much I extended my stay. Check in instructions were very clear and communication was great. As other people mentioned, you do hear the neighbors, but it did not bother me! Listening to the rain sounds whilst sleeping drowns it out. Would definitely recommend staying here!

What a great place... the views, the lake, and the greenery all around. This Airbnb is slightly off the main road but very walkable with a cool little shortcut down by the lake that gets you access to the heart of San Marcos in no time. Augustus and his partner were the best hosts I've ever encountered on Airbnb. They left a present of homemade kombucha (using harvested fruits form the garden) in the fridge, offered to light up the sauna, and allowed us to use their paddleboards during our stay. He gave us personal recommendations for food, drinks, and numbers to cab which made our stay 1000 times easier. This stay may not be for the less active/ luxury seeking travelers, but it's the perfect spot for anyone who wants to relax, take in some nature, and get in touch with some locals and the outdoors. Thank you Augustus for all of your generosity and the perfect chance to unwind and enjoy what Guatemala has to offer. 🙏🏻

Little paradise in Santa Cruz, the garden is just something else - it is so magic to wake up every morning with plenty of hummingbirds flying around. The house has everything you need and a lot of privacy, even when Andres (the gardener) is around. Joanne instructions were super helpful and we felt at home, would definitely come back!!

Our three night stay at the Glass House was fabulous...beyond words really. It is now our favorite Airbnb in the world! I intentionally chose our stay during April's full moon which created an even more magical experience at the Glass House. We actually had no idea that the view would be so amazing - gazing over Lake Atitlan with views of 3 volcanoes perfectly in the middle of our gaze. The space was absolutely perfect. Accommodations stylish and modern, with amazing interiors and furniture designed by the owners. Loved the fact that the location is so unique and private. One must travel by boat to the property's private dock to access the house. Venturing out to other lakeside pueblos is a quick and inexpensive boat ride away - where a boat taxi can pick you at the dock...you just have to wave a flag for them to come get you. We enjoyed preparing meals in the amazing kitchen overlooking the Lago. So impressive! I could go on and on. If you are lucky to stay here- do not hesitate!

Sí buscan una casa en Xela con una limpieza impecable, segura y linda, sin duda esta es la opción que buscan. Muchas gracias a los host por estar tan al pendiente, quedamos encantadas con el lugar y agradecemos la amabilidad, era nuestra primera vez en Xela pero ya sabemos a dónde volver cuando tengamos la oportunidad. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and private place in Santa Cruz. The view is stunning, the house is breezy and full of natural light, and the garden is an oasis. We worked remotely from the loft above with a view of the lake, and the windows letting in the breeze… the Starlink internet was seamless. Town/dock was 5-10 min walk from the house, and town/ATM was a short tuk tuk ride up the hill. Miguel was extremely helpful, always readily available, communicative and with a great attitude. He met us at the dock in Panajachel with a pre booked private transport and helped bring our bags up to the house. We also booked the private chef experience with Manuela and she was amazing… so sweet, punctual, and made us healthy, tasty lunches to enjoy while we worked. She even made us a refreshing drink with a cucumber from her garden, and set the table for us outside to we could eat while enjoying the nice weather. We learned a lot from chatting with her! Lovely people & stay!

This view was to die for! Watching the sunrise above the volcanoes every morning with a cup of coffee was so peaceful. The hike up from the main road is no joke. My boyfriend and I are from Florida and use to flat and no elevation so it was quite difficult but as long as you take breaks it makes it worth it! We took about 5 breaks the first time as we were carrying huge luggage (travel light if you can) but after that we would take 3 breaks up and no breaks down. But it was just the adventure we wanted!

This Airbnb was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, with easy access to everything including the town center and dock. Our property managers Chris and Kris were incredibly helpful and responsive, which made the stay even better. We arrived at 12:30 and Chris welcomed us and gave us a tour even before our check in time. There are also tons of on-site activities available (for an extra cost), which added so much value to our trip. If you're visiting San Marcos, this is the place to stay. Everything was great, although the bathroom was a little smaller than desired and the shower space was not well designed.

Muy reconfortante, como sentirse en casa. Todo en orden, limpio y tranquilo. Nos hemos hospedado allí en 2 ocasiones y lo volveríamos a hacer.
