Holiday rentals in Mombetsu District

A great stay! The place was exactly as shown in the photos – clean, well-maintained, and very peaceful. It was the perfect spot to relax. The host was also very responsive and made everything super easy. Highly recommend!

The hosts are very kind and responsive. They offered to pick us up from the station and also drove us around the area, as we came without a car. We traveled with a small child, which was no problem. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook. We also ordered the delicious dinner, that the host offers and delivers directly to the place for an additional price. We can further recommend the Shirataki Geopark Visitors Center and their exhibition on Obsidians. They offer workshops to make different things. If you are interested in Aikido, the founder Morihei also lived in Shirataki. A remote, naturesque and interesting place we can only recommend!

Notre séjour s'est très bien passé, la maison dans un style traditionnel est bien équipée et l'environnement calme. Nous avons pu apprécié un excellent petit déjeuner et la visite des 2 chiens de la famille. Nous félicitons notre hôte pour cet agréable moment !

Place was very clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay.

We stayed for 2 nights and wished we had more. The cabin located beside the farm and restaurant. Very accessible to get our meals. Yoko was very hands on, checking in with us personally. She was very friendly. I really had a good time here. The scenery was great with mountain view. You can sit on deck for hours. We also played with the ranch dogs after our BBQ dinner. :)

Sdy's place is very clean and spacious. The location is quiet and private, with few houses nearby. Basic necessities such as bath soap&shampoo, toothbrushes and towels were provided, and communication was smooth and easy!

I would recommend Saruru to anybody looking to spend the night in Mombetsu. Akari is an amazing host who showed us a tremendous amount of hospitality. Her place is clean and full of hand crafted items made by local artists. She also prepared a delicious breakfast for us which included cheese, yogurt, and milk from her family’s dairy farm. Thank you Akari!

We had a lovely stay, the check in was abit difficult and the Sauna would cut-out after 10-15 minutes but all in all a great spot.
