House holiday rentals in Minho

This place is an absolute gem. It is one of the nicest places we found in Portugal. The house is located in a small vineyard. Beds were comfortable. There’s a wood fired barbeque a great outdoor covered area and a beautiful infinity pool. Every morning we had fresh bread delivered to our doorstep. We picked lemons and oranges from around the house and had the host deliver us fruit. It was beautiful and quiet. The only negative is that we enjoy the place so much we did not visit any of the surrounding areas😊. If we had any questions, the host was response almost immediately with suggestions for places to go restaurants, markets. We had an excellent day and would return and stay there again anytime. It is definitely a 10 out of 10 definitely highly recommended.

The house is very beautiful and is as advertised. The location is perfect, very close to Caminha but in a more secluded area surrounded by nature. Elisabete was very attentive and everything went very well, with a lot of flexibility on her part. I'd love to come back! It's a perfect place to rest.

Rafael's place is absolutely gorgeous! On arrival, he gave us a warm tour and shared the property's history—fascinating. It's beautifully restored, surrounded by trees offering total privacy. His dad keeps bees nearby (we could’ve visited) and grows cherries, lemons, and oranges—he encouraged us to help ourselves, and they were delicious. The property was perfect for two, with a well-appointed bathroom, living area, and a private pool—compact but fits four comfortably. Rafael was super attentive and responsive, a brilliant host who clearly takes pride in the place. A few minor notes: the pool has no cover or hoover, so needs a quick skim due to nearby trees (his dad cleans it regularly); there are only 3 loungers and 2 extra chairs at the front; and indoor seating isn’t the comfiest for four, with 2 chairs being wicker which differs from the listing. These aren’t real negatives—just things to note. Amazing value and we’d love to return when we're back in the area!

Every moment here felt relaxing and memorable. What really made the stay extra special was Paulo and his wonderful family. They were warm, welcoming, and always available if we had questions. They also gave us amazing local recommendations, especially for restaurants—we had some of our best meals thanks to their tips! Beautiful home with amazing views. Comfortable, well designed, recently constructed and super clean. The kitchen is well stocked for meal preparation. There are spectacular views over the lake from almost every room. The house stayed cool during the warm May weather; no air-conditioning was needed. The Host Mari provided helpful directions (I recommend using map coordinates) and recommendations for grocery store and restaurants. There are two access roads to the house from N-554; we found it easiest to arrive from the north and depart via the south access road. The neighborhood is quiet and people were friendly. We look forward to returning!

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home! It’s spacious, stylish, and absolutely perfect for a large group. The layout is ideal with bedrooms upstairs and downstairs feels like a dedicated hosting space, perfect for socialising, gathering, a nice big hot tub!!!! The views are truly spectacular we enjoyed barbecuing while overlooking the vineyards, which felt like something out of a dream. It’s even more stunning in real life than in the photos (which is saying a lot!). The hostess was absolutely lovely so friendly and helpful. She responded promptly to every request and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. I genuinely can’t fault this place. If I could, I’d return every weekend! It’s ideal for groups of friends, families. The house is incredibly well-suited for the Douro Valley and ticks every box. Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a wonderful stay! Fantastic experience!! The house and view are absolutely surreal. The pictures do not do the place justice! Such an amazing escape to the mountainside. We had an amazing time just relaxing in the house and looking at the views. Marta was a great host! She was incredibly responsive and so kind. Would absolutely recommend this location.

An amazing house in an amazing place. Modern, clean, quiet and superbly equipped. Surrounded by terraced vines with world class views of the Ribeira Sacra and the Rio Miño. We loved our short stay here. It was tranquil but we also had one amazing lightning storm to experience. You can just sit and relax or use it as a base to explore. Best to get all your supplies before you get there as there is nothing in Belesar. Or you can pop into Chantada like we did. Great communication with Jose as well. A great stay

We were a couple with a small dog for 6 nights in Aida's accommodation. Aida is a great hostess and was always available to us. The house has charm and a great view. However, we would have booked the house two days less if we had known in advance that on the last two days there would still be manual work on their neighboring house (owned by the family). Otherwise, it's a great quiet oasis to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommended.

Great space. The family enjoyed the ample space. A car is required, but we anticipated that. Having the bicycles and kayaks were great unexpected perks that we enjoyed greatly. The air-con came in handy too for the time of the year we visited. Jose, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating with our requests, even at odd hours. Highly recommended and we will pass on the message to friends akin.

From the absolutely extraordinary house, to the scenery that seems to come from a movie, to Mr. Manuel who left us speechless of so friendly and dear that he is. There is no better place than this to rest, and we leave thinking about the time to return. The photographs do not make juz to the place at all… Very spacious house, we were in a T1 and there was a lot of space, well decorated, very modern, with an amazing outdoor space, it is simply magical to go to the balcony and only listen to the birds. Thank you Lúcia and thank you to Mr. Manuel, who made this stay fantastic and to wish you back!

It's a heavenly place. With a natural environment that we loved. Super quiet, although everything you could ask for is 10 minutes away. Overflowing nature for people like us who enjoy this type of accommodation. We would definitely come back because we liked it a lot and it is also important to mention the good hosts, Graciela and her husband. Without a doubt, everything was very satisfactory. More than we expected!!

Great stay. Beautiful house- the interior was beautifully laid out. The kids made good use of the pool and tennis court. It was a great retreat- very peaceful and perfect for families. I would definitely visit again. Thanks to Max for being very responsive and recommending places to eat and visit.

We were 7 friends and we loved our stay at this house! It is spacious, beautiful and cozy and above all ideal for spending time with friends and family due to the spacious common areas it has. We were able to enjoy our activities in the living room and in the kitchen all together. The beds are extremely comfortable and nothing was missing. Without a doubt, we would love to go back in the summer and enjoy the outdoor area more as it is beautiful :)

We had an amazing stay! The location is beautiful & so peaceful. Close enough to Porto, while providing a nice escape from the busy city. Francisca was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, even extending herself to a few surprises that made our stay extra special. I will miss having breakfast outside with the beautiful view of the valley neighborhood. Hope to have an opportunity to visit again. Would recommend to anyone visiting Portugal!

Incredible experience and to be repeated! The house has a breathtaking view. The pool is very well located with the barbecue, making the space very pleasant. 5 star cleaning. The host was always very helpful, always available to clarify any doubts that might arise. I highly recommend this experience, as it was one of the best to date. The only thing to point out is that the temperature of the jacuzzi is not adjustable. I had a fever of 37.5 degrees and at a certain point, it became uncomfortable.
