We had an absolutely incredible stay! The house is even better than the pictures, and our host could not have been more wonderful, flexible, accommodating and welcoming. A few highlights that aren’t immediately obvious: fresh bread delivery every morning, kitchen is wonderful and very easy to cook in, charcoal grill outside is fantastic - and lovely for grilling fresh fish in! (ask if fish is available from the local fish monger!). You can also easily do a day trip into Porto from this hidden paradise. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ricardo and his father Mario, or this amazing villa!

Amazing property and view. We had a terrific time. The property worked great for our group. Best sunset! Marco and his crew were extremely responsive. Driving in the Douro Valley is not for the faint of heart. We had a ball!

We were delighted, from the location, which is excellent for visiting Galicia, to Tony's service, an attentive and pleasant guy. The house is super well cared for, clean and nothing was missing. I definitely recommend it 😄

Beautiful mountain views. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy, so we couldn’t hike as much as we would have liked and could only dream of using the pool—but we still loved the area. The nearby town had stores and restaurants, which was convenient. The cottage is well-equipped, and the AC was helpful since the weather was cool. There probably wasn’t enough hot water due to the rainy conditions. Other than that, we were happy with our stay!

This place was amazing, way bigger than it looks in the photos, with everything we needed and incredible views. The host was super helpful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I get the chance!

Ideal accommodation to enjoy the experience of seeing how people live in a Portuguese village. The house is perfect for a few days in summer, when you can take advantage of the pool and eat outdoors. The kitchen is completely authentic, and although the rest of the house is also furnished like my grandparents' house, it doesn't have as much charm. Emilia is a sweetheart. If you're thinking of touring the region, it's a good option.

We had a wonderful weekend with the children. We had to change the weekend for a medical issue and they were super understanding, giving us alternatives, which we really appreciated. The house is impeccable, there is a lot of cleanliness, and the green areas with their barbecue and pool make you feel super comfortable, I'm sure we'll be back, a hug to the family and thank you for everything.

Maria and Angel made our stay feel like home. They treated us like family. The setting is beautiful. Ideal for going with children and getting to know the rural world first-hand. I can only say thank you and hope to be back soon.

This little farm is a true haven in the midst of nature! The outdoor space is simply magical — spacious, full of beautiful nooks and crannies and with animals that delighted the children from start to finish. Those were days of great peace, fresh air and smiles, lulled by the wonderful sound of the water always flowing in the pool. The house is very well equipped, cozy and designed for all ages. Inês was an exemplary host, always available and attentive, and Dona Doras also deserves a special thank you for her prompt and kind help. We will treasure this experience with great affection! AMAZING! Looks better then the pictures, the view and sunset are amazing. The place is really big and has everything you need for a peaceful get a way. Cousin Susie is very responsive and helpful. The swimming pool is very big and the view is also very nice from there. Best Airbnb we had! Thanks again!

We had a fabulous few days. Mercedes was really responsive and helpful with suggestions of places to go and super friendly. Mercedes had gone to lots of trouble to make sure our stay was very comfortable. There wasn't a single thing we could have asked for. The property is extremely private and quiet and we got some well earned rest. The location is perfect with fantastic coastal walks only 20 minutes away with beautiful white sand beaches all to yourself, great towns with local markets and Pontevedra near by which is worth a visit and we recommend stopping for lunch. The property is also close to several vineyards which you can visit and try the wine. Highly recommend this airbnb in a beautiful area.

The stay was perfect. We went to spend a couple of days to be able to do nearby routes. The house is perfect and with all amenities. There is a small patio to relax and enjoy the views, a BBQ, two bathrooms, enough kitchenware, smart TV in the living room and in the room and a super comfy bed. In addition, it is very close to supermarkets and restaurants, which is a plus for the plan we had. Finally, there is a very friendly perrete neighbor who comes to greet you during your stay. Highly recommended.

The place was spectacular and was very well maintained and clean. The breakfast provided was sumptuous and plentiful. On the whole was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

A lovely stay at Marta’s house! Such a beautiful setting and the boys really loved the Pool. A real traditional property with themed rooms from what it used to be such a great touch! Definitely recommend

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

Our family stay at Casa Da Touça was wonderful! The home was perfect, it had everything we needed for our week stay. The beds were so comfortable. The house itself was very comfortable and spacious. The pool was spotless and well maintained. Our kids swam daily for hours and had so much fun. We also spent every night on the patio watching the sun set across the mountains. Maria is so kind and welcoming, we were greeted with such hospitality and a delicious spread of pastries and breads. We felt like family. She is so passionate about her guests comforts. Maria is very responsive to any questions. She provided a number of guidebooks and pamphlets of places and restaurants to visit close by. Casa Da Touça is a gem and we highly recommend it!!
