Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Meppen

We have stayed in this beautiful and spacious cottage for the second time. Anything you need is present. The location is perfect. You can enjoy hiking and/or cycling in the area. We walked the 4-day hike from Exloo and from Valthe, which was easy to reach. Kim is a nice hostess who is attentive and helpful.

What a lovely house. Everything has been thought of. Beautiful complete kitchen, beautiful bathroom with a nice and sparkling clean sauna. Comfortable beds and great that the windows have screens. It is located in a quiet and beautifully landscaped park. Close to the center where there is plenty to do. It is also nice that you can go from the park to the nearby lake. The garden with neat furniture completes the house. We'd love to come back!

This was the first vacation where everything looked just like the pictures. We felt comfortable right away and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The view of the river and the animals to be observed rounded it off. Writing with Daniela was very pleasant and she responded quickly and helpfully. We felt very comfortable and can only confirm that the house is quiet and idyllic, you don't notice the neighbors, and I am completely for itself. It was a very nice stay

Anna's holiday home is a gem. Beautiful and quiet location on a beautiful natural garden, very neat, cozy and comfortable. Very complete in terms of decor. The communication with Anna and her husband went very smoothly! A warm welcome with something sweet! 😋We immediately felt at home! Nice location for walking and cycling! Definitely recommended! We immediately felt at home in this great accommodation! Mia made it easy for us with her hospitality to feel right at home right away. The accommodation is a gem, the garden a dream! For us as a family with a small child (4 years), a perfect place to relax, start excursions and just breathe! You can feel the love for detail in every corner!

The hosts are very wonderful people, warmly welcomed us with smiles and showed us around the place. Very kind friendly and English speaking! I felt better than at home! I recommend it to anyone who wants great value for money.

Niko’s Garden house is a very special place to stay in the residential area close to centre of Groningen. It is surrounded by blocks of houses, still provides an island of peace and real retreat after heavy day of sightseeing, walking… Niko was very helpful and supportive during our visit, and we would highly recommend his house to travelers who prefer an authentic accommodation experience as an alternative to hotel room. thank you for the hospitality and the very nice contact. We only slept in the apartment a few hours after work has been done. But everything was very clean and lovingly prepared. It could only have been warmer for us. We were very frozen in the tent after the shooting festival and the heaters did not get warm. But otherwise everything was very well maintained and lovingly furnished.

This was a very clean and very comfortable stay. It’s right in the heart of Nordhorn and has easy access to groceries, shopping, and restaurants. We loved it!

Really had a wonderful stay in this lovely and spotless apartment. It has a quiet, location, exactly what we wanted. There is a very complete kitchen and bathroom. The living room is spacious and well furnished and the beds sleep wonderfully. Wonderful garden with several seats. We will definitely come back.

The apartment was very clean and lovingly furnished. There was nothing missing in the kitchen, it was well equipped. The surroundings are pleasantly quiet. Susanne is a very helpful, accommodating host and was always reachable. She is always committed to the wellness of her guests. I felt very comfortable as a guest and would love to come back!

Jannie and Arnold were great hosts, Arnold met us when we drove in and showed us the house. They gave us tips for restaurants in the area and supplied is with everything we needed for our night stay. The place is beautiful and peaceful, 10 minutes drive from Groningen. Would recommend for a peaceful weekend away.

The apartment was easy to reach, a private parking space is available. Check-in was well described by Petra and no problem. The apartment was as described, it was everything that is also in the advertisement. The multi-party house was quiet in our time. You only have to get used to the bell of the church on site. Super ice cream parlor in the neighboring village of Freren. The Edeka in Thuine is also well sorted. The departure was also no problem, just close the door. We were happy with everything and would come back again.

We had a very nice stay at Gerben's. The apartment was clean and equipped with every comfort. Thanks to the quiet location and the nice bed, we slept well. Gerben is a very friendly host. Who knows, we might come back to explore the area a little better. Thanks for everything!

We only stayed there for one night on our way. It is certainly worth staying here longer. There are plenty of hiking and cycling options. The space is surprisingly large, especially for two people. Well rested, we were able to continue our journey the next day.

Had a great stay! Great location within walking distance of central Groningen. Very clean and cosy. Loved the little patio. We hope we can come back soon.
