Family-friendly holiday rentals in Megas Gialos

George is a wonderful host and his home is outstanding. The photos don’t do it justice. It is impeccably decorated and stocked with everything you would need. Daily housekeeping was unexpected but made the stay even that more luxurious feeling. Very clean, extra linens and some local goodies in the fridge on arrival. It is obvious George cares for his home and guests. The village the house is in is very cute. No cars can drive through so you need to park on the street but it’s very easy to find. It’s in the middle of the 4 local restaurants. Very easy to walk out the door and grab a coffee or dinner. Loved our stay! Hope to be back one day!

La maison de Graciela est très sympa et très bien décorée. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce lieu authentique. Un plus avec la piscine très appréciable quand la chaleur est au rdv. Lieu à recommander même si l’environnement n’est pas celui que l’on peut attendre dans une île des Cyclades. Nous pourrions facilement revenir chez Graciela ! Et merci pour l’accueil.

We had a wonderfull time at Anna's and Giorgios quiet place on the edge of the village of Azolimnos. There is the the possibility of swimming almost on the doorstep near a small harbor. The most fantastic thing was the spectacular sunrises over the sea right in front of the panoramic windows and the spacious terrace. In one room you could even watch the spectacle from the bed. If you didn't want to, you could have darkened the room with electric night blinds. There is a mini market within easy walking distance. In the other direction we went on short walks along the coastline with turquoise-colored bays and the small beach "Santorini". Buses stop opposite the mini market, which travel through the island clockwise and anti-clockwise. We could easily do without renting a car. The landlords live on the ground floor and were extraordinarily helpful and friendly.

We had an amazing stay! Antonis picked us up from the ferry and gave some recommendations for the area. The apartment is super cute and the area perfect. You have a supermarket in walking distance and nice coffee shops, restaurants. This was the perfect place for some days on the island to explore (by car). They were super flexible with check in and check out times, which was amazing due to ferry times. We would always come back to this place. Thank you!

Maria was a perfect host with N amazing house. The place is unique at all levels - with a spectacular view - properly furbished - very near to the center. As we stayed 3 days we did not need a car and all areas were walkable. Exceptional house in an exceptional island. Surely will go back again. Thanks Maria for everything you are just amazing🥰🥰

A most beautiful house. Extraordinary location steps from the beautiful sea, a gorgeous church, a lovely local taverna and a cafe. The garden and balconies offer incredible serenity and peace and beauty at every turn. The outdoor kitchen is wonderful and we cooked outside at night and enjoyed the warm nights and beautiful stars. Our family of two adults, two kids (10 and 13 year olds) will dream about this place for the years to come. Thankyou so much. Emily and family

WOW!! Where do I even start? Hands-down the most BEAUTIFUL resort, let alone airBNB I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The pictures are an understatement to say the least. The property is perfectly manicured and very well looked after. Blue Mare Villas was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to Paros and exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful, serene, incredibly peaceful. We were lucky enough to stay in two very different villas during our stay as we booked 2 nights rather last minute (therefore no villa was available for 2 successive nights) so we were upgraded from a rather large 1 bedroom villa to a huge 3 bedroom villa complete with hammock and hot tub to which we took full advantage. Truly feels like you are staying in a five star luxury boutique resort, but with the added personal touch of a very sweet family. Stamatis and his wife Iliana went above and beyond to make us feel truly welcome at their resort and in their home even offering to take us to the market in Naousa for supplies as we chose not to rent a car for our short stay. The homemade breakfast was delicious as well and a great treat to wake up to in the morning. All in, would HIGHLY recommend Blue Mare Villas to anyone looking to get away for a few days in the lovely island of Paros. We will most definitely be back and are most appreciative of our time here!

Super séjour en famille dans cette belle maison avec vue sur la mer. Il est possible d’accéder à pied a 2 plages très mignonnes ou de rayonner dans le sud de l’île en voiture ou grâce au bus qui passe à côté de la maison. Vassilis et sa femme ont été très gentils et disponibles et nous ont rendu de nombreux services pendant le séjour. Nous recommandons

We had an amaizing time at Pieter's home. From the very first second it felt like home. You can sense that it was their family home therefor fits every need. We appreciated the small details including the plates, cups, "library", outdoor shower, marbel stairs and so on. The view is spectacular. Honestly even better than on the pictures because you get to breath the air scented with all the plants on the surrounding land which is btw huge and extremly private. Pieter was so easy to talk to. Super responsive, friendly and also sorted out a booklet with local recommendations which we used and did not disappoint. Thank you for making us feel at home. I can only imagine how it could have been being a child there. We only rented it for the 2 of us therefore used the master bedroom. You'll spend most of your time on one of the 3 terrace however it doesn't take away from how tastefully the house has been decorated. Would highly recommend this place.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Irini's place. It is beautifully decorated and clearly a well looked after property. We stayed for 4 weeks and really used it as a home from home, it had everything we needed - great internet connection, lots of space, lovely terrace, kitchen full of utensils and appliances etc. Irini is a very accomodating and generous host and helped us whenever questions came up. The area is very quiet and peaceful which we loved, but also 10 mins away from the Chora which had everything we needed. We hope to be back again in future. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Thank you Christina for a an amazing stay! The house is so beautifully designed and in a gorgeous tiny old village with views across the hills to the sea. It feels like a 5 star hotel with a stunning outdoor terrace to eat on complete with outdoor pizza oven and bbq. Oh and the fridge is stocked up with goodies very couple of days! Christina and her lovely housekeeper are very friendly and responsive too. We stayed 5 nights with 3 kids and it was a peaceful haven to come back/ wake up to each day. Totally recommend!

Nous avons passé un séjour fabuleux dans cette belle maison typique, confortable, grande avec plein d'espaces extérieur et très bien conçue pour plusieurs familles. La vue est incroyable de partout, très belle piscine dans un environnement beau et calme tout en étant à seulement 10mn de la jolie station Kivi avec plages et restaurants, supermarché. We’d give 10 stars if we could - Antonia was wonderful and the place was even better than the photos. We loved our stay on Tinos and will definitely go back and we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else! We hired a car which was great so we could visit some of the beautiful villages and beaches but loved coming back to Carpe Diem and the wonderful pool and views. Thank you Antonia for your hospitality- we are missing you already!

What a beautiful villa! The pool was fantastic, and the views were priceless. We had everything we needed and more. Every detail was thought out perfectly. Kameliya was so friendly, responsive, helpful, and proactive in tending to our needs. She spoiled us with ice cream, cold waters, and espresso cups upon arrival, and had a box of hand me down toys to engage the kiddos. All 8 of us slept comfortably with plenty of AC units on both floors. We used the laundry/wash machine once, and it worked great. Also, the restaurant/tavern Kameliya recommended was exceptional. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return.

Bernard & George. A landscape architect, an architect and set and costume designer!!. How can this place possibly disappoint?!!! Yes between our two parties we were the only guests, so it was as private as we could’ve wished, but the location, the accommodation and the massive meandering gardens were beyond the expectations from the photos. We loved the attention to detail, the little eccentricities and creative quirkiness. There is in our opinion nothing quite like it on the island. It’s also super central so anywhere on the island is doable in a little over 15-25 minutes. The hospitality of these two men is also beyond, beyond. Thank you so much for a very amazing and memorable Syros experience. If we are ever that side again we know where we will be staying. Thank you B&G

Très belle maison cycladique avec décoration raffinée et très jolie vue dégagée sur la vallée des pigeonniers, située dans le charmant village de Smardakito à proximité d'une sublime taverne ouverte le soir ! Carol qui est une hôte très réactive nous avait laissé un guide avec toutes les recommandations : restos, plages, villages à voir ! L'ensemble des espaces extérieurs sont de très belles terrasses avec vue à couper le souffle. Cependant elle sont dépourvues de balustrades et cela peut rendre le séjour difficile avec de jeunes enfants. Très belle piscine traitée à l'eau de source et au sel mais peut faire déteindre des maillots blancs. Présence régulière d'un chat et même s'ils sont omniprésents en Grèce il vaut mieux être prévenu : attention aux personnes allergiques. Au final : garantie d'un séjour enchanteur en plein coeur d'une île à découvrir !

Le logement est magnifique ! Les photos ne font pas honneur à la réalité de la vue et de l’aménagement intérieur. Dimitris était très accueillant et toujours de bon conseil, et Litha très réactive à niveau de la communication. On recommande sans hésitation !
