I had a wonderful stay in this apartment! The host was very kind, and the check-in process was easy. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed - great facilities that made it feel just like home. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept really well. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Saumur. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — 10/10!

Very nice house with history with great spaces and beautiful height of ceilings. The decoration is of very good taste giving a family spirit. The heat from the stove in the dining room was very nice. It quickly felt like home.

Charming outbuilding in the countryside, ideal for disconnecting or making a stop not far from Puy du Fou. Welcoming and available hosts, we were able to meet their 2 adorable donkeys. Very well-equipped accommodation, comfortable bedding, impeccable cleanliness. We'll be happy to go back!

What a finding this was! The place is even more beautiful than the photos! Jordane and Stephane were just the most amazing hosts and the attention to detail in the house was just incredible. The house was probably the most well equipped property we have ever stayed in and the hosts provide lots of little extras which was so helpful. We have fallen in love with the place and we are sure to go back for a longer period. Our only problem was that we were there for two nights and we wished we could have stayed forever!! A beautifully appointed accommodation and a beautifully planted garden in a peaceful environment. We only missed our experience a little more flexibility on arrival and departure and maybe some condiments and spices in the kitchen.

I spent one month in the apartment, working remotely as a change from Ireland which was still very much in COVID lockdown. I could not have been luckier with the apartment, the beautiful building and garden, the town of Saumur and with Christiane as my landlady. I had a very, very special time there- the apartment and building is timeless, beautiful, safe and tranquil. It’s location is perfect in the old town of Saumur. Christiane was the most wonderful, welcoming person who is spent some quality time with and it was an honour to get to know her. It was a fantastic place to call home when I was there. And I have taken back some really wonderful memories. I miss it already. Thank you Christiane!

Perfect cottage for a weekend with friends with children: bright common room well suited for a group (2 tables, large sofa), a large number of bedrooms and bathrooms, many games for young and old. The city of Saint Loup Lamairé is very beautiful. Between meals, games and walks, we had a great time.

Very welcoming and responsive hostess. Catherine is always attentive and always present if needed. Regarding the accommodation, it is not only perfectly in line with the photos but also and above all very well located less than a minute from the tram, 15 minutes' walk from the Cathedral and the Castle, 5 minutes from the train station less than a minute from a convenience store. The value for money is more than appropriate and there is everything you need (utensils, etc.). I highly recommend this accommodation without hesitation. And I sincerely thank Catherine for the stay and wish everyone to enjoy it too.
