Apartment holiday rentals in Matterhorn

Stacey was a great host that met the us at the door and gave us helpful hints on things to do. The view from the porch was AMAZING and so peaceful. We spent almost every minute there when back from the very convenient hikes just a short way away. I would absolutely recommend staying here … literally can be in a hot tub looking up at Staubach Falls like it was your very own private waterfall.

This is a very nice and small unit. It has all of the basic necessities and not much more but has a nice location on the water. Be aware that there is no AC and no screens on the windows, but we opened them at night to keep things cool and had no issues with bugs. Roland and Noe were great hosts and were very helpful/responsive and their recommendation to eat at Restaurant Q was incredible - highly recommend.

虽然到达房源的路很难，但是看到的景色也真的一绝，打开门就是马特洪峰，房子的设备也很好，有两个厕所是一个bonus。期间遇到突然其来的暴风雪，整个策马特都被大雪封闭了，没电，没网络，没火车，幸好房东给予大力的帮助，才让我们度过难关。对此我们非常感恩。

We really enjoyed our stay - the apartment is perfectly situated to enjoy Orta San Giulio. We loved the restaurants, the walking, and the people. We’d definitely return.

Oliver had various games, cards, kids books, kids toys, etc. The living room was spacious with plenty of seating, lots of dish ware and cookware, and we enjoyed the large table for meals. Great lighting with large windows and 2 doors to 2 outdoor spaces. Fantastic view of the Matterhorn from the patio and bedroom. There was not a tv or washer or dryer. We were are able to wash clothes in the sink and use his heated towel rack to our dry clothes. It was not a problem. His location is very close (approx 10 min walk steep up hill) to the town lookout spot for sunset in the Matterhorn. Get there early to get a good spot. This a must do! The unit is definitely perfect for families.

We loved our stay! Audrey's airbnb is beautifully kept with everything you need plus she made sure our 3 year old had a cot bed, high chair, toy box, books and the garden had games, a side and a small sand pit! Location is ideal for bisse hiking, we did many over the 2 days and Torrent Neuf is not one to miss!!

This is one of the best AirBnBs I have ever stayed at! Stunningly beautiful view from the back deck, great location (across from a goat farm!), and smooth check in. Highly recommend this place!

This apartment was the cherry on top of our amazing stay in Switzerland. We are already planning our return to the apartment as we fell in love with it. We fell right at home and really appreciate the smaller touches too - the condiments for cooking and extra bits of storage were very useful. There are many things to list about what was unreal about this place, but I’ll mention the view from the balcony - watching the birds of prey, hearing the cow bells and watching the paragliders made it even more dreamy, plus the sky light in the bedroom to see the stars at night. Ruxin are greats hosts, so friendly and very accommodating.

Livia's place is great, everything was spotless and comfortable. She gave us a crib with a cool gift for our daughter. The balcony has a beautiful view, and the apartment has everything you need to cook, wash clothes, etc. She was very helpful during our stay. Super recommend.

Uns hat es bei Simona gut gefallen. Die Wohnung hatte einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Lago Maggiore und die Borromäischen Inseln. Von Baveno aus kann man viele Ausflüge unternehmen.

We had a wonderful stay on the Eggbergen. It was truly a memorable experience. The apartment was spacious, beautifully equipped, and offered breathtaking views straight out of a picture book. We felt warmly welcomed and appreciated the many helpful tips we received during our time there. The fresh eggs, and other local produce from the nearby farm shop were a real treat, and we’ll definitely miss the peaceful atmosphere and the cows grazing below the house. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature in a stunning setting!

We had a great time at Karin’s place. The apartment was as described. You had the beautiful view of the mountains (and the Matterhorn!). It’s walkable distance from the downtown area, and close to some hiking trails as well. Super peaceful and serene. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a stay that’s close to all the action which having your calm little space.

Wow – Irene’s place exceeded all expectations! The moment we walked in, we were drawn straight to the balcony to take in the absolutely breathtaking view. It felt like something out of a dream or fairy tale—truly unforgettable. This is hands down the most beautiful Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was exactly as described, and the thoughtful personal touches made us feel instantly at home. Irene’s instructions were clear and made finding the place a breeze. It’s just a short, scenic walk from town along a lovely path we looked forward to strolling each day. If you’re looking for a stay filled with beauty, peace, and warmth, this is the place. I would return to Switzerland just to stay here again—without hesitation!

Magical! Loved every moment spent here. Had the place to myself during off peak season and a dream location for anyone that loves the mountains! Trails began right at your doorstep! The place was well furnished with everything you needed. Kitchen was well stocked and grocer was open nearby too with all that you could have needed. Spent almost a week and hope I have the chance to visit again!

Marlise is so nice! She gave me 5FR directly when I said I had no coin for luggage deposit at the train station. She also helped me fill in the guest form since I forgot to do so. The house is located on a small hill. You need to climb around 15mins with your luggage to get there, that’s a bit exhausting. But the view is pretty nice, exactly the same as shown! You also need to bring your own shampoo and body wash.

Absolutely perfect Swiss chalet tucked away on the edge of the village. Stunning view of the 3 mountains, and well placed for various local walks as well as excursions further afield. Liza looked after us extremely well, always on hand for any problems (there were none!) or to help with any queries, and always with such good humour. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Once we arrived Bart greatest is. He was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. His place was clean and it was definitely what was pictured. The location was peaceful and the ability to sit in the Hot tub in the evening time and gaze out at the mountains and listen to the cowbells. I would highly recommend this place.

This lovely and comfortable apartment is exactly as described and shown in the photos. The smallest details make your stay as nice as being in a fine hotel: comfortable beds, pillows, extra throw blankets, good quality linens and plush towels. Francois and Capucine are nearby when needed but always discreet and allowed us our privacy. If that is not enough the highlight is the breathtaking views from the deck. The photos do not due justice to the awesome majesty of the mountains. We had many outings planned but only did half of our plans as we only wanted to stay local and to enjoy the views right from the house and nearby Combloux. Combloux is a gem as is Megeve and the proximity to Chamonix makes the location ideal! We will go back with our children and grand children!

The view is everything! Must have a car if in this area, garage is provided and nice to have. The washer and dryer is very convenient. Home is well depicted in pictures. Television is upstairs only. A big plus is the access to the hotel spa and pool, very conveniently located just a 2 min walk. The mattress in our opinion was far too soft for our liking but that is our preference. Overall nice place and would recommend. If we are looking to stay in the same area again we would be happy to come back.
