We had a wonderful stay at Villa Despina! The location is fantastically quiet, perfect for relaxing, and at the same time a good base for exploring the south of Crete. The villa itself is very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped – from the kitchen to the beautiful outdoor area with pool, everything was well maintained. We particularly liked the warm hospitality and the little touches when we arrived. We felt right at home! A real highlight: the fantastic view of the surrounding nature and the sunsets in the evening. We will be happy to come back and can recommend Villa Despina to anyone looking for peace, comfort and Cretan warmth. Thank you for everything!

Breathtaking views! Do you want a clean and beautiful accommodation? Then you've come to the right place! 🤩 The accommodation is modern, clean and well equipped. The outdoor area is simply perfect, great seating, mega pool also for kids and with the spa whirlpool simply a paradise! Not to forget this beautiful view of the sunset 🤩 Not only is the accommodation perfect, but the hosts, Maria and Savas, are great hosts! Friendly and courteous, and always available! They brought toys for my son and despite the fierce challenge with the Sahara dust, they did everything to ensure that we can enjoy our vacation 100% 😊 We are already looking forward to our next visit to Crete and to Maria. My wife and I loved our stay. The villa was clean and tidy, it was super easy to get into upon out late arrival as well. Our hosts were easy to contact and made sure we had a great stay. A Slice of Heaven in Crete. Our stay in this beautifully designed home was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by peaceful olive groves and bathed in Cretan sunshine, every moment felt serene and special. The sweet little pool was the perfect place to unwind, and the home itself was as stunning as it was comfortable. The hosts were warm, thoughtful, and made us feel truly welcome. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already planning our return.

The villa is amazing, great views, very quiet (alongside a road but very little traffic) and the place was spotless. Beds and furniture all very comfortable. We were there for two weeks and linen/towels were changed mid holiday. Pool towels also provided. An amazing outdoor area, with table, well equipped outdoor kitchen, plenty of sunbeds and shade if needed. Quite honestly couldn't have asked for more. If we ever go back to Crete we would definitely stay here again ......... and a special thanks to Sophie who met us with the keys on arrival and was there on our departure.

The house itself is modern, stylish and equipped with everything you could wish for. The spacious pool and the breathtaking view of the Cretan landscape all the way to the sea inspired us every day. But what really makes this place special is the host. From the first moment, he was incredibly warm, helpful and attentive - after a very short time, it felt as if we had found a friend on site. Whether tips for excursions, restaurant recommendations or just a nice conversation - he was always there for us and made our stay something very special. DejaView is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy and feel good. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect for a relaxing vacation, and we really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Communication with the host was smooth and easy.

A short walk from downtown Kalyves, but far removed from the hustle and bustle of the town of Kalyves. Several good places to eat, with some services such as medical and a pharmacy, a couple small markets with enough provisions. The location had absolutely amazing views of the bay of Souda, very private and quiet. The property is secured by an electric gate, to keep wandering tourists away, in that this accommodation appears historical in nature, maybe all that’s left of an old kastelli, based on the rock walls. I could be wrong, but I would guess that the actual accommodation is what used to be the powder magazine for the old fort. We enjoyed the place immensely.

We felt very comfortable. The property is in a great location. Restaurants and the beach are within walking distance. You can park for free in front of the apartment. We were always able to reach the host and he gave us good tips. We would always come back there.

Loved this place. Full of charm and character, had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s in a quiet village, beautiful countryside and not far by car from interesting villages and beaches of southern Crete. We could easily live here. Big tick from us.

May 2025, 10 nights stay for three (2 adults, 1 toddler). Villa is really fantastic. Beautiful view of the sea and the bay. It offers plenty of space for more people (2 couples, 4-6 friends, 2 families) and for longer stays (storage space, cupboards and shelves, etc.). The furnishings correspond to the description and offer, even in the kitchen, everything you need. Our highlight was the covered terrace. Our flight was moved up at short notice. A significantly earlier check-in was no problem at all in our case. Stelios is a very friendly, helpful and dedicated host. We recommend him and his villa without reservation. Small restriction: the accommodation is a bit off the beaten track or the region is a bit scattered (mainly due to the geography of the terrain). Without your own car, it will be a bit difficult in our opinion. However, there is a free parking space directly at the house.

For the second time, we have enjoyed this beautiful house. It was a feeling of coming home. Even when we were in need of health care, we were well taken care of and received great help. We highly recommend this house, it is really great and we slept so well, as we haven't in a long time. We will definitely be happy to come back...

We loved our week in Eleftheria and Manolis’s hillside home. Our every need was catered for: we were given a warm welcome with delicious evening meal and other goodies; Eleftheria was full of helpful recommendations of places to eat; the bed was comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped; and the beautiful terrace and refreshing little pool - from which we could look down onto the Libyan Sea - beckoned each time we returned from our adventures around the coast and mountains. Terracotta pots brimming with geraniums and basil, and olive trees around our borders, made it a very special place to relax, though the setting is what made it stand out: we had complete privacy and utter peace (we heard only goats, sheep and the occasional distant dog). Excellent location to relax with an amazing view. Was the perfect size for a couple. Color and decorations make the apartment even more charming.

We felt very comfortable right from the start and were completely satisfied with the accommodation. In addition to the wonderful terrace with a fantastic view, the accommodation has a very good location. You can reach restaurants, supermarkets and the beach within a few minutes. We are always happy to come back. :)

The accommodation in Kokkini Hani was very nice overall. Everything was clean and well maintained, everything you need was really available – from kitchen utensils to beach towels. The location is a real highlight: right on the beach, you can hear the sea when you wake up. The host was very friendly, helpful and easily accessible, which made the stay even more pleasant. A small downside: The room layout is very open, which means that there is no real privacy in the individual rooms. If you value separate bedrooms, you should consider this. Nevertheless, a great accommodation in a fantastic location – perfect for a relaxing beach holiday!

We were already in the house of Dionysia in autumn 2024 and since we liked it so much, we lived in Dionysia's house again in May/June 2025. Everything was as great as on our first visit. Everything is very neat and clean, the location is perfect to reach many excursion destinations and Dionysia is just a wonderful and very warm hostess. It was a fantastic vacation and we felt very comfortable. Thank you, dear Dionysia ❤️

Simply stunning apartment, glorious views and easy access to the little village of Kalyves. We spent most days by the pool and evenings eating at the many restaurants by the beach. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, the views from the living room are stunning. Eleni is an attentive and very responsive host who looked after us extremely well. We will be back very soon!

The location is special, we celebrated it. Beautifully located. Totally quiet and a little off the beaten path. We were feeling absolutely safe. The local restaurants were just open at the beginning of May - it's village-like. Car is necessary. The prices fair, the people friendly. Visiting free-living cats. A cat has born her kittens near the accommodation and feels part of the house. The first micromarket is 5 minutes away, in Gazi (10 min) there are larger shopping opportunities. The bathroom is small and like everything about the house lovingly designed. From the height of 180 cm, the use of the toilet requires some flexibility because of the legroom. The house is a dream if you want to relax and come down.
