The stay was very nice. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for 2 people! The house looked like the pictures and is very spacious. Large well-kept garden and terrace. We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

We spent very nice days in this beautiful house. The terrace directly on a small canal with a view over the meadows offered pure relaxation. The area is ideal for cycling along the canals and blooming tulip fields. Trudi was a very nice and attentive host. Thank you! Maria and Heiko

We had a wonderful weekend in Uitgeest as a family of five. The surroundings with the windmill, the meadows with lots of water, nature and the beautiful place just around the corner are the perfect starting point for various excursions to the sea or to Haarlem and Amsterdam. Our hosts were always very friendly and helpful, the house offers everything you need and is beautifully cozy. We will be happy to come back!

We were with friends in Ilinca's apartment. The accommodation is very well maintained and really nice. The stairs up are a bit steep, but we got along great with that. In addition, Ilinca was always quick to reach and was able to help us. We were all very happy and had a wonderful holiday! The location of the apartment is perfect, because everything can be reached on foot and the sea is only a few minutes away by car. All in all, we are more than satisfied and would be happy to come back ☺️

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

We had a wonderful time! The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet place on the edge of a beautifully maintained park. There is a beautiful, green garden at the cottage. The dog can run freely in the enclosed garden and you can sit nicely sheltered in the garden. It's lovely and quiet! The cottage is cozy and there is plenty of food and drink ready. We have never experienced this before. There were even gifts for the dog! We have completely relaxed and have had wonderful walks in the forest. You can step into the forest right next to the cottage. Actually, we never go to the same place more than once, but here we consider it. Thank you Alan and Karin.

A perfect stay! The location is ideal, surrounded by nature yet close to the city. The terrace is amazing, and the cozy living room with a fireplace was the perfect spot to relax. Fred was incredibly welcoming, surprising us with sparkling wine and cake upon arrival. Highly recommend – would love to return!

We had an excellent stay at Anneke’s place. The place was quite aesthetic as well as so convenient with an amazing garden. Our 3 year old daughter especially enjoyed the trampoline and the swing in the garden. The location was really apt, we could do day trips to Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, Hague, Utrecht, Haarlem. Overall a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful weekend in Martine's vacation cottage! Everything has been thought of. All amenities are present, and the cottage also looks beautiful. The location is perfect for exploring the area, but the cottage is so nice that a rainy day is not bad at all. Martine is a nice host who responds quickly and thinks along with you. Highly recommended!

We felt very comfortable in your chalet. Voorthuizen is very central, you can quickly reach various excursion options. For example, we were at the Aqua Mundo swimming pool in Eemhof in 30 minutes or at Sprookjeswonderland in 45 minutes. The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was Pentecost weekend and I have never seen so many dogs. All of them are well-behaved and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes' walk, you are in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also go off the line. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq, is perfect. She responds immediately to any question. Thank you for the nice days.

It was a pleasure to live in this apartment. Right outside the door you can go for a nice walk. One cat also came to visit and said hello. The city center of hoorn is lovely. We had plenty of time and space to relax.

A very nice and fine b&b, with Marina as an enthusiastic and thoughtful hostess! Even before arrival, she inquires about your wishes. The spacious bathroom with 2-person whirlpool is great, cozy, clean, with wonderful ritual products. Breakfast is extensive and very tasty. You can pass on your wishes. The large bed is lovely. And we really liked all the thoughtful surprises from Marina in your room, on arrival and during the stay. She and her whole family are very hospitable, and they also respect the privacy of the guests. In terms of location, it is a nice central point to visit the Eleven Cities, with several cozy restaurants in Bolsward that you can reach from the B&B. We highly recommend this b&b, we would love to come back!

We stayed at the Lemon House with two small children and felt very comfortable. The cottage is nicely decorated and the nearby sandy beach with the restaurants is great. We were provided with a crib and a baby chair free of charge. On the last day we met Vivian and the children because we were allowed to leave our luggage with them, such a lovely warm encounter.

Great location surrounded by beauty. The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided local recommendations. Just enough distances from the city if you want to check out Amsterdam or the beach, both about 40-55 minute drive depending on traffic. House had everything we need. Great fenced yard with view of canal.

Accommodation (cottage) remarkable for its quiet location and its authentic decoration and with great taste, a (real) Dutch country house! Beautiful view from the kitchen / dining room over the countryside, in the gardens of many birds. Carina is a very efficient and discreet person. We would recommend this lovely house very warmly, we had a great week there. Good option also to visit the country, nothing is really far away. In addition the small historic town of Hoorn is charming, and there are 3 supermarkets and many shops, bars, restaurants just 12 Km away. We'll be back as soon as we can… Didier & Yency

What a lovely place. Despite the bad weather, I enjoyed it enormously, the view is really beautiful and there were regularly deer nibbling in the meadow. Very nice that the bed is made when you arrive, more than enough towels available and some basic necessities like coffee, tea, sugar dishwashing detergent etc. Very clean, neat and comfortable. My dog also loved it, beautiful walks in the area. Will definitely be back!

We had a great evening in the house - everything was to our satisfaction! The kitchen was fully equipped and the associated grill was the highlight. The view was breathtaking, idyllic and quiet. There was also a paddle to use, unfortunately we could not do it because of the rain. Maybe next time! 💪🏼😌
