Holiday rentals with a patio in Margate Beach

Lulama’s place had the most AMAZING view of the beach from the balcony, it was so breath taking. The place was clean and it came with all the needed utensils to make any meal. Lulama was a great host, she communicated well and is very responsive. My stay was very enjoyable.

We fell in love with the place the moment we stepped into Roelene's lovely home. Every small detail was perfect. Great location and great see views.

We had an amazing stay. The kids just loved the pool with slides and the beach (which was amazing for swimming) was within walking distance.

Stunning apartment right on the shoreline. The apartment was modern, spacious and very well maintained. The large balcony was perfect for evening braais and we spent many happy hours up there watching dolphins and whales playing in the ocean. A two min walk to margate beach and an easy drive to all local amenities. Can’t say enough about the place, we loved it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, it was clear Mevlynne had thought of every little detail—from extra blankets and toiletries and fully stocked kitchen supplies. The property itself is incredibly peaceful, with beautifully maintained grounds and spotless amenities throughout. Whenever we had a question, he was always available and responded almost instantly, which made everything so easy. The only thing to note is that there’s no Wi-Fi on-site, so you’ll need to purchase mobile data if you want to stream TV. That said, we found it actually perfect—who wants to binge Netflix on holiday anyway? We spent our time exploring, relaxing, and truly disconnecting. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene, well‑appointed getaway!

Wow...what an absolute gem of a place. When they say it has the best view on the South Coast, it certainly delivers with spectacular marine life to view. Their amazing wrap around balcony was sensational as well as having ocean views from two of the bedrooms. Over and above this, the energy of the home lends itself to embracing you and making you feel right at home. It is situated very very near the beach in a well manicured estate. The entire place is beautifully appointed and cared for with love and respect. Lucinda our host communicated everything to the tee and her warmth and hospitality in her communication is so sincere. We were given lots of useful information that enhanced our stay. The check in process was highly efficient and we had the delightful Charmaine and Nick look after us should we have needed anything during our stay. We had an amazing stay at Portia’s place! It was perfectly located, with a private beach and a main beach (Silver beach) just a short walk away. We also loved how close it was to shopping centres and local attractions, making everything so convenient. The place was so comfortable and well-equipped, and we really appreciated the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. We initially booked for 3 nights, but we had such a great time that we extended for an extra night. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an affordable, convenient, and enjoyable beach getaway with access to everything!

At first I wanted to give a bad review, just so that no one else discover this beautiful gem in Southbroom, but alas I can't. The house is absolutely stunning, with everything you need, a home away from home. The house is beautifully decorated, one immediately wants to treat the house and everything with respect. Kim's attention to detail, welcome note, Christmas decorations, communication throughout our stay was excellent. Billy her husband assisted us with something small that had to be repaired and arranged someone on Christmas eve. Billy also notified us throughout our stay of what is happening in and around Southbroom. The house is perfectly located, easy to go for walks on the beach, trails, shops, restaurants, golf, padel, everything on your doorstep but still in a quiet and peaceful street, which is difficult during the festive season. Thank you Kim and Billy for sharing your beautiful home with us, this will definitely not be our last visit, hope to do so soon again.

We had an amazing stay at this well-equipped house that is in the most fantastic location right on the beach. A beautiful verandah and garden to watch the birds and listen to the sea. Theresa looked after us so well and Gillian was a very friendly and responsive host. Thank you for a superb stay!

Our family of six enjoyed a wonderful six-night stay at Vicki's place. The house had everything we needed, the view was amazing (dolphins, whales, birds), Vicki was always responsive, and the three minute walk to the beach directly down from the house was perfect. It's a 10 minute beach walk down to the official Umzumbe Beach with its lifeguards/amenities/surfers. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. We saw joggers and people walking their dogs, and we always felt quite safe. The kitchen had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. The place was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We utilized Regina the helper one day and she was great. As we're not used to setting/disarming alarms, we struggled a bit with the alarm system, but we eventually got the hang of it. We experienced load shedding one evening, but with the propane/gas oven and all of the candles plus large flashlights available, this was actually enjoyable. We plan to return!

Correne's place is perfect. Very spacious, clean, comfortable with stunning views over the ocean. The shower is amazing - great water pressure and heat. Hosts were friendly and accommodating and I would highly recommend.

Our stay was amazing, the host was very helpful wherever we needed something beautiful place and clean the house is very big pictures does not do justice it's a beautiful place our time was really amazing.

What a great experience. If you're an early riser who enjoys a good sunrise, set your alarm clock and make your way out of bed to the balcony. I promise it's worth it. Among the best sunrises I've watched and filmed! AND, an absolute bonus on our final early morning on the balcony... Dolphins surfing in the waves, whales coming up for air, and even potential shark breaches in the background! Plus I must mention the wealth of nature sounds and bird life in view. Between Jared and Erika, they did a great job hosting us. Definitely visiting again in the near future.

A wonderful place , walking distance to the beach and The Famous Waffle House. There is a file in the apartment which gives you details of activities in the area. The pool and games keep the kids entertained. The apartment is spacious. Enjoyed our stay.
