Domenico is a fantastic Host! The perfect and clean conditions in which I found the house say a lot about the person in charge. Always available, attentive, no detail escapes him. Chiara was a wonderful host and communicated beautifully. Her home was filled with the beautiful tradition of her family heritage with special touches throughout; she and her husband kindly greeted us at the home and toured the property with us. They answered all of our questions, gifted us with a beautiful Easter cake and delicious blood oranges. We enjoyed quiet days, walking to and from town, where we enjoyed a delicious meal, gelato, coffees and breads. Our hosts shared the grocery store locals used and we shopped there daily to create delicious meals of our own, enjoying them at their spacious dining table. We gathered around the table for games and meals and cozied up in their living room to chat, read, and plan daily excursions. We loved our trip to the local waterfall even in the rain and a bit of snow; it was magical. We loved our tour of the small local lake at the top of the mountain and enjoyed drinks and fries at the local bar there. We even drove into Firenze for a day💗🇮🇹☺️

We booked several days of summer sightseeing. I highly recommend it to everyone, the neighborhood is nice, it has a rustic atmosphere, nice and calm house and garden. The surrounding cities are easily accessible from here. The host couple is very nice and responsive, hospitable, thank you for the delicious coffee!

We absolutely loved our stay at this villa! Location was perfect, just a quick walk into old town Barga. The view was unbelievable, we loved sitting outside on the patio and looking out at the moments. Gioia was a wonderful host, she was friendly and gave lots of great recommendations for restaurants nearby. We cannot wait to return!

We stayed at Simone's place with 3 adults, a baby and a little dog for 3 days. Many reasons why we enjoyed it and why we recommend everyone to stay here: interior spaces of the accommodation, size and care of the fenced garden for the exclusive use of guests (the presence of the fence, among other things, is essential for those who, like us, bring their dog), full nature of the surroundings, extreme kindness and availability of Simone as host and last but not least, it was the most well-stocked accommodation we have ever stayed in in Italy and abroad. In short, we highly recommend it to those who want to unplug from the daily city rhythms and we will certainly do it again!

Property was as described and excellent. Large, clean, modern and fully-equipped. Very peaceful and rural location. Host very communicative. No complaints whatsoever. Would definitely recommend.

This place is amazing. The view from the house is astonishing, and Barga is a really nice place. the house had everything we meededen, and laura was very responsive and had very nice tips on where to eat. Would definitely recommend!

Laura was really very kind both before the stay, providing us with clear and detailed directions, and during the stay where she was very helpful in meeting our every need, and at the end of the stay. We were super satisfied with both the location, which is spectacular and really offers all the services described, the view is breathtaking and the location is enchanting, and the house. The house is very spacious, there is a kitchen complete with appliances (including a dishwasher that was very useful) dishes and everything you need to cook, each room has a bathroom inside and being so many of us, we particularly appreciated the availability of the shower in each of them. The garden that surrounds the house is really well maintained and the pool area is for exclusive use and equipped with an outdoor shower and a relaxation area with sun loungers for everyone. Laura also provided us with the sheets. Private parking is also available at the entrance to the house. Recommended!

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. Thank you Vittorio and Rosa Maria!

We spent 3 days for a bachelorette party. The villa is really crazy, even more beautiful than in the photo. Each floor is independent, with its kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedrooms. The house is crazy in every detail, from the decor to the amenities included. The pergola, the pool and the view are spectacular and we really enjoyed them. We also organized a party with the deejay in the pergola, wonderful! The owner was really top: very helpful in all our requests and was also very flexible both at check-in and check-out. Absolutely recommended place!!!

As beautiful as the description was, the reality was even better. Sandra’s guide to local activities and restaurants was one of the best I’ve seen. The place was spacious, the surrounding grounds beautiful, and the pool a welcome treat this summer.

Very nice place, quiet, spacious, very close to nature. Very well-equipped house. Great pool, huge garden in which our 2 dogs spent well. Ideal place for those who want to relax. Need a car to go to the supermarket or village

Beautiful get-away place that makes for great vacations in the Tuscan mountains. Absolutely recommendable.

Lovely, authentic house. The view of the Apennines is breathtaking, also from the nice swimming pool. The house consists of 3 floors and you live on the middle one. That's why everyone had privacy, and an en-suite bathroom. It was wonderful to spend time on the two loggias. Because you're high, there's often a lovely breeze. What was also nice is that there is no silent "art" on the wall, but beautiful authentic things that fit the house. Everything is really nice. We have enjoyed and never wanted to leave:)

We had a great week in "Il Ribosto". Silvio was an extremely friendly and accommodating host, we felt very comfortable. The view from the property is fantastic, as is the garden and pool. There is a good, typical Italian restaurant within walking distance. Silvio also guided us through the agricultural estate attached to the property with chickens, sheep and horses.
