House holiday rentals in Maramureș

We had a wonderful stay for a family reunion. Marius is an excellent host always happy to guide and assist. The facilities were excellent, spacious and very well equipped. Location was lovely and peaceful with plenty of space to roam. We enjoyed table tennis, tennis and pool with all equipment loaned to us. Some extra guests were able to be hosted on-site in further private accommodation. Pool was unheated which unfortunately stopped some of our guests from using it but was still refreshing for some of us to cool down in from the heat of the day. It was clean and well maintained on the terrace. There is no hot tub (just a bath tub in one of the bathrooms) but we found out it could be possible to take a therapeutic sulphur spring water bath by arrangement! A couple of dogs on-site which were not always welcome but our host’s dog was lovely friendly company for most. A great place to stay and highly recommended. We’d be happy to return another time. Einfach schön, wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Tolles Haus mit genügend Platz, Pool, Hottube und dazu die schöne Aussicht. Liebe, freundliche und bemühte Gastgeber,es fehlte an Nichts. Danke für den schönen Urlaub, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Just great, with more than hospitable hosts. A perfect base for a prolonged exploration of the region with walkable access to the extraordinary adjoining monastery and within driving distance of monasteries and wooden churches. Located in a traditional village with bison and locally made cheese & milk, and a local liqueur palinca.

Great place for a big group/family. Private and quiet location, walking distance to the ski resort. House is big and has enough common rooms for the party. Sauna and Jacuzzi are really good. Definitely recommend! Rooms are great each with private bathroom.

Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich und modern eingerichtet, ideal für ein paar Übernachtungen. Im Zimmer befindet sich ein kleiner Kühlschrank - ansonsten kann man die gut ausgestattete Outdoor-Küche nutzen, die überdacht ist und sich direkt vor der Tür befindet. Das Auto konnten wir ebenfalls direkt auf dem Grundstück parken. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Das Internet ist gut. Supermärkte sind direkt nebenan. Wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen.

Had great time in this nice house. 300mbit internet and hammock in garden is good match for remote workers. Ioana is very friendly host :) House was clean and well prepared.

This is an amazing villa with one of the best views around. To sit on that balcony and stair at the massive mountain in front of us was a blessing. Would definitely return and would definitely recommend.

Herzliche Gastgeber*innen, ein wunderschöner Stadel und Garten, die zum Verweilen einladen, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt - Große Empfehlung!!! Wir haben sehr spontan gebucht und standen plötzlich vor diesem schönen Gehöft am Ende einer Dirt-Road. Wir waren im ehemaligen Stadel untergebracht mit riesiger Terrasse und schönem weitläufigen Obstgarten. Das weitläufige Gelände ermöglicht Privatsphäre auch im Garten, selbst wenn in dem Haus nebenan andere Gäste untergebracht sind. Liliana und Vasile haben alles mögliche gemacht um uns einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Wir bekamen unglaublich viele und leckere Kostproben aus Lilianas Garten und Küche und wurden sogar noch nach Baia Mare zurückgebracht, da wir ohne Auto unterwegs waren.

The host was great. Quick communication. Place beautiful and large plot. Everything was clean and new inside. There is also billiards, table hockey. Outside grill, 2 lakes, swing, large terrace. I recommend.

Mircea’s wooden cottage is welcoming and blends perfectly in the natural landscape around. The outdoor amnesties are very useful and inviting you to relax. We have not tried the salty water hot tub this time, but we look forward to coming back to do so. The house is clean and well equipped, you will find all you need, including Chromcast for streaming your favourite shows. Mircea is a wonderful host, we have very pleasant discussions about local history and culture by the outdoor fire, and he was very kind to recommend us places to visit in the area. We had a magic time with our family with kids, and we recommend this place for anyone in search of authentic experiences, local cultural exploitation and a relaxing time.
