I absolutely love Japfü homestay run by Savino. A very comfortable and homely place where you are made part of the family. I made friends with Visiele, Savio's sweet two and half year old son in a very short while - he is a bundle of energy. Savio's collection of plants is just amazing. Had meaningful conversations with noth Savio's husband and Savio. The food great, especially I like Naga food. The homestay is close to the paddy fields of Kigwema village, and you spend some time in peace and calm, meditatively, there. The surroundings are very photogenic. Can't recommend Savio's place enough. Thanks for a great time.

This homestay was perfect! The view was stunning, the amenities were excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. The host was very cooperative and welcoming, which made our stay feel like home. Despite being located in the middle of the market, the place is peaceful and calm — a rare combination that makes it ideal for relaxation. Everything is easily accessible, with cafes and all major tourist spots within a 2–3 km radius. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a serene atmosphere.

We recently to Hornbill festival Kisama, and stayed here this home stay for over a nignt . the host are very friendly and always helping. Taking care of every minute things. Good food , and excellent hospitality . they even came to take us from the route and guide us reaching their house ,since there was some road blockage .

Kenei was an exceptional host! The place was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication was quick and clear, with thoughtful touches like local tips and a warm welcome. The location was perfect, and Kenei’s attention to detail made our trip unforgettable. This place is a hidden gem in more ways than one. The host was extremely gracious and very very helpful. He organized the transport for the trek, and gave us tips to stay the night on top. The room was neat with basic amenities required, and a lovely garden to stroll outside. The food was tasty, nourishing and abundant! Even the host's family was lovely to interact with. The cherry on the cake was a delightful little pup called Jessie who simply made my day!

A cozy place to stay if you are in Kohima. Not far from the town. Taxi stand just a few steps away.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kisama or even visiting Kohima which is actually quite closeby and can easily stay in peace and quiet away from the chaotic city. Even for those planning for Dzukou, Kigwema is conviniently located between Kohima and Viswema which makes the stay with Vikhono, just ideal.

We had a wonderful 4-days stay with K.D. family.The house is right by Science College.Shared taxis take you downtown (to the bus terminal to Hornbill festival) in 10 min and INR40/person.This location is actually strategic if you come for Hornbill being quiet and unpolluted compared to the downtown.We had a room with a private entrance/terrace overlooking lovely hilly landscape.The room was simple yet spacious, with an attached toilet/shower and a kitchen with electric kettle and drinking water dispenser.The bed was hard,but hosts provide lots of blankets so we used them also as additional mattress and it was allright. Breakfast included milk tea,fresh boiled eggs, fruits,pastries/french toast.The best part of this stay is surely K.D. and his family.They treated us with a lot of respect and care!We will never forget that.We recommend dinner with the family-we had it around a hot stove (December obliging) with conversations and stories to exchange.Thank you ao much for your hospitality!

Ketho is an INCREDIBLE host! He made sure we were taken care of and helped us make his Airbnb our home in a new place especially considering its our first time to Kohima! Absolute gem of a person and his staff were very friendly and treated us as family. We had hot home cooked meals and they made sure we could eat regardless of what time we found ourselves returning. Winter (the pup) is an ABSOLUTE sweetheart!

Diezesinuo is a Superb Host, prompt responses with clear instructions and information. She is very nice and ensured I am comfortable. The apartment is awesome with mountain view patio. The moment I stepped in, I felt like home. We requested for dinner as we reached late, we got delicious North Indian dinner which we weren't expecting!!! It was super yummy!! :) The place has everything you need at home with additional amenities. It is beyond whatever is listed on Air BnB. Super clean and hygienic bathrooms, clean linens, well setup kitchen with all electronics items to make snacks for yourselves…. I enjoyed my stay here and DEFINITELY book this place for my future visit to Kohima. We visited Kohima for Hornbill Festival and Kitty's place was cherry on cake for our trip! Kitty, Tia and Jack were amazing and helped us at every step. Infact booked Scooty and Cab for our commutation! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE for comfortable and homely stay in Kohima!!!
